They are quite similar, but OG has a sort of greeny duochrome thing going on?!? It's very pretty but I find e/s easier than pigments! May still go back for it though...

I've been to the counter to swatch the collection and ended up buying Crew h/l-er powder and Riviera Life l/g (I've already ordered Red Racer l/s and Send Me Sailing l/g as well as Handforged e/l and the three lipliners from Debenhams). I'm not convinced the stripes are just an overspray, they are well raised and seem to go down into the powder to some extent. I won't excavate, but it looks like they might run at least as deep as they're raised (if that makes sense). It's actually a very pretty colour, so I caved in, lol.
I didn't pick up Sail La Vie because swatched next to Watch Me Simmer it's a lot more orange and I don't need another orange lipstick. I also wasn't blown over by the blushes, but that's just me, plus I have just bought 5 from Tres Chic and have another 30+ Mac blushes alone, plus other brands.
Has anyone in the UK received their Debenhams order yet? I placed mine Tuesday lunchtime and so far nothing. :( I had the dispatch e-mail by 5 pm on Tuesday, so it's probably the Roral Mail taking their sweet time. :(
No Debenhams delivery for me yet, but my HoF order arrived with a courier this morning, so I've got lots of goodies to play with

I love the "antique" effect that you get with OG. I find OG quite easy to work with (I assume that the HS OG performs similar to the regular OG).
For those who are into antique shades, OG is a must-buy.

I just got back from amsterdam. The stripes in Crew are NOT an overspray. The MA could confirm it because she asked it at her update. Also some parts of the tester were flat already and still showed the same stripes. Yeah for mac not doing overspray again!
The goodies that came home with me are:
-both blushes
-Crew
-Sun Dipped pro longwear bronzer
-Jaunty and Feeling Fresh e/s
-Emerald Sea e/p
-Shore Leave l/l
-To Catch a Sailor and Sail La Vie l/s
-Blessedly Rich and Riviera Life l/g
I also asked about the difference between the pro longwear and normal bronzers. The pro longwear bronzers have sunseed oil (i think that's what it was) and that makes them softer and easier to blend. They also last longer (like we didn't expect that:p). I swatched one of the normal bronzers and after that one of the pro longwear bronzers. I could definitely feel that the pro longwear one was softer and it smoothed out a lot better on my hand.
I didn't take pictures at the event, it was too crowded, but i couldn't post them anyway till sunday. I will swatch my own goodies and try to post pictures sunday afternoon. I might go to my local counter monday and swatch the other things, but i'm not sure if i have enough time monday.

Yay! What a lovely list! Hope you had fun! Good news about Crew. My first Reel Sexy ? Hey, Sailor order will probably arrive on Monday. I will go to Amsterdam tomorrow but since I found out that the discount isn't given here I doubt I will haul many HS items. I will see tomorrow, otherwise I will place a second order tomorrow.
Have fun with your goodies! Good choice! ![]()

They do look <3 indeed. Looking forward to receiving them. Not only am I happy about these swatches, knowing I made the right decision ordering them, I am also very happy that Pinkdollface has seen Crew doesn't have an overspray. Nice bonus ![]()

Thanks i had a lot of fun! Also i went to the pro store as well and i found the 184 duo fiber fan brush. I thought it was discontinued, but they still had it! I'm not sure what i can use it with, but i was thinking about the naturally blushes and maybe it's nice with bronzer of highlighter. Any input on this is appreciated:) I also got refills for Juxt and Coral e/s. I know Juxt is discontinued and i think Coral as well, so i'm glad i could get both of those too.
I hope you get your order soon!

The 184 is nice for highlights or blush you want to apply very delicately. It gives a light wash of colour. I know there are also people who use it for light contouring. I do not reach for it very often. Every now and then. It's nice to have though. The 165 on the other hand I use daily.

If you are deciding between OG and Barefoot, I think OG wins because it is just so gorgeous and dimensional. They look different enough to justify both and its nice to have a gold in the pan if you don't have one already.

I've had OG on my wish list for forever. I think I'll get Barefoot now (easier to work with) and get OG in June when I don't have much on my list.
Thanks everyone.

I went to the MAC counter today and asked about Jaunty e/s since it was the only thing missing (as far as I could tell!) from the display but the MUA had never heard of it and they didn't have any in stock! Weird... guess I'll just have to order online, but now I won't get my things for another few days :/
Also, here's a review of Salute! if anyone's interested

Thanks for the info about crew, i think that may have just convinced me I need it.
Think im going to have to go back for sail la vie. Is it comparable to vegas volt or toxic tale??
I really need debenhams to have 10% off or beauty card points offer soon so that i can haul some more
