Fleet fast is a very complimentary shade, it's really pigmented so I don't have to use a lot! And last but not least, Crew!! I prefer using this as a blush, I'm sooo happy the stripes are not an overspray!!

Tommorrow, I'm going back for one of the bronzers, and I also have to choose between Launch Away p/b & Feeling Fresh e/s. Love them both but I can afford only one.

 

 

This has nothing to do with Hey Sailor collection, but I really wanted to share this with you guys because I'm very disappointed. When I asked the MUA about Extra Dimension and Tres Cheek collections, she told me that we're not getting these in Greece at all..

The more I look at everyone's swatches, the more I'm getting tempted by this collection. Crew does look pretty in your swatch, but it seems like I have so many light pink blushes... I think there's part of me that hates the idea of letting the "summer special" powder pass me by, since I have Marine Life and My Paradise. (And I use them both, particularly ML, very frequently.)

As far as not getting the collections, I think it's worth double-checking. Maybe not all counters are getting them, or maybe they'll only be available on line, but it seems strange that you wouldn't get the collections at all. Hopefully, you get better news soon.

I second that. You'd be surprised at how willing a lot of MUAs are to help you, even if they don't seem to recognise you when you're there.

I haven't hauled yet, but I'd personally love to see a combination of Crystal Avalanche with Barefoot on the eyes. I've had CA for ages and I love it, because it really makes a bright pop on the eyes. I think the combination of shimmery whiter-than-white and rich gold would look lovely. Especially with an intense red or orange lip. Sort of a bold look, but I think it could work. (See? I said there was hardly anything I wanted and I'm already planning looks...)

I swatched on the store feeling fresh and the styledriven one. Feeling fresh is more vibrant,so If I had to choose one of them, I would definitely go for feeling fresh!

I do that too, i try not to pay more than 80-100 euros but if 2 (or even worse 3) collections come out the same month, I know I'll be spending a lot.

Crew is very smooth and blendable! I think it would be amazing when layered over blushes like Stunner.

I'm going to the PRO store tommorrow to complete my haul so I'll ask them! Unfortunately, the greek Mac site doesn't have an online store.

I have had Crew on and off my list so many times my head is starting to spin

I agree. I swatched it too, just to be sure which one to get. Both are very pretty, but Feeling Fresh jumped out more to me.

And... After S3/C3 on which I splurged I said to myself I wouldn't buy anymore until the Marilyn collection comes out. But so many pretty collections have come out lately, it's driving me crazy. At first I was only going to get Sail la Vie and Crew from this collection, but then it warmed up to me and now see what I got in the end... I also only wanted lightscapade and Heroine from RS and I was only going to get WoG, Superb and Glorify (and perhaps MP) from ED. That didn't happen either. (Skipped Glorify btw.)

The moment I saw the pictures of HC blushes on Beautyscene.nl, I immediately knew I wanted those blushes (and the MSF's). I am now trying to minimize my list, because I am also eager to get some Nars blushes... I am running out of space and I have bought so much the last couple of months that it takes long for me to try everything, which is a waste.

I've been trying Nude On Board for a week, but it's just too yellow for me :( I should have waited for a Mac-Guy recommendation of bronzer rather than the MA at the counter!

Anyway, I can't return it since I've used it a few times, but if anyone is interested in buying it for £15 plus shipping then let me know!

Jaunty looks really nice paired with Soba!

PS: I was so tempted to get NoB just for the name, so I don't blame you for picking it. I just knew it wouldn't look right on my NW skin; IMO, it does not really work on NW complexions (pale or dark). I'm still bummed that LLB from SB was not repromoted. It's the most natural bronzer ever.

It's ok! The MA chose it for me because it was "the lightest", not according to being NW, which should have been a clue that she was talking rubbish haha!

I think I'm going to check out Soft Sand or Sun Dipped - any thoughts?

I had to scale back to save for Heavenly critters, but I can't believe how Crew keeps going back on the list.  I have a half dozen gorgeous pink based highlighters but I think I can't resist the cute morphing stripes.  Hope I don't regret skipping the blushes to get this instead!

Well, sometimes mistakes are made. I have been mismatched several times. NW 20 instead of the NC 15 that I am. The MUA's were disctracted by the redness on my cheeks (I went there au natural) and the automatically grabbed NW 20. However, apart from that redness, the borders of my face and my neck are NC 15 (I matched myself right), or Matchmaster 1.0 fits the bill perfectly too.

I have used NoB several times but it does look good on me. I do have yellowish undertones. I can definately imagine that it looks off on NW people. Completely unnatural.

So I went to the MAC counter at Nordstrom last night and they had JUST got in the testers, so I had fun playing with the Hey Sailor stuff as well as the SAs who hadn't seen it yet either. I didn't try out everything, only what I was interested in or considering (Crew, Jaunty, the blushes) and ended up doing a presale for Crew and Jaunty! If I had money coming out of my ears I would have gotten the blushes as well. I can't wait :). Crew seems like a less shimmery dupe of my beloved Chanel Horizon blush, the more the merrier for me...it's such a beautiful glow from within sort of effect. Jaunty seems like a great shade for when I want to brighten only...not do anything fancy. Wish I could have just picked it up last night! But I am glad that I am getting what I want at least.

I'm the exact same as you! I get matched to NW20 all the time as well. I'm glad i found out by using samples that i'm NC15. Now if a MA does my make up i have to tell that i want NC15 on my face, because it matches my neck and chest better. I thought you were also getting Sun Dipped, why did you end up not getting it?

When I went to the US 2 summers ago (I wasn't tanned), I was matched with NW20.  I went to Sephora and had a SA/MA match me with a MUFE HD and he said 115.  Anyway, sure enough I got back to UK and decided to order NW20.  It turned me orange... horribly orange.  I actually cried, because I'd ordered online as I couldn't get to a store/counter.  They let me send it back, but only because it was one of their MA's who'd matched me.  I only guess I'm NC15 as I go off the Temptalia foundation matrix and I'm Bone in Estee Lauder Double Wear.. it says the match is NC15, haha.  I'm too scared to order a MAC foundation to try again now. :/

Oh I am getting it allright. Just checked and my package in in Paris now, so that means I will get my stuff on Monday. Sun Dipped and Soft Sand are among the goodies.
