Just ordered mines smiles.gif

I was at Nordstrom earlier today, just checking in to see what they had left (aka stalking for WoG lol) and the SA offered to show me the Hey, Sailor! testers. Swatched a few items and ended up placing a pre-sale order for Red Racer LS, Blessedly Rich, Crew and Fleet Fast. They didn't have testers for To Catch a Sailor, so I'll have to look at that later on. I wanted to test Sun Dipped, but they only had Nude on Board available, which I did try. It looked ok in the store, but I didn't care for it once I looked at it in natural lighting. I remembered what Mac-Guy said about red based bronzers, and thus was able to say no when the SA was trying to convince me to buy it.

We'll see what else I decide to buy once the collection releases online. I forgot to pick up jaunty, so maybe i'll call the SA and add it to my order.

That is a rip off then, I've never had an order take longer than 2 days to be shipped out with regular shipping, my packages usually arrive within 4 days of me ordering them.  But it confused me last time when I ordered something with 2 day shipping, the next day I ordered something without it, and the one without got here first.

It's not a rip off. It's clearly outlined in MAC's shipping regulations that they refer to the time processing the order and not the actual shipping time.

I think we will get our black boxes Wednesday or Thursday!  yahoo.gif

i guess if they are really busy, they use whatever number of days they need/they promised  for that particular shipping category.  if they aren't busy, they'll often give virtually immediate shipment...because they can.

i've had both situations happen to me. usually i'm not in that big of a hurry to receive my items, so i just pick whatever shipment i can afford, and see what comes out of it!

I haven't seen anything like it in the Western market. Luckily through that link (they ship internationally) and eBay it's pretty easy to get and at a decent price.

does anyone know if the 167 brush would be good to apply mineralize skinfinish natural all over the face? I'm thinking about adding the brush to my list

Its one of the best kept secrets in shipping whether its MAC or anywhere else. Its a waste of money period to pay for early shipping unless you want your package on/before a certain date in which case it would be best to pay for overnight shipping. Otherwise your package will probably get there 2 to 3 business days using regular shipping.

I don't see why not.  :)

I use my 182 for that, but this brush seems like it would be a great brush for all over application.

can anyone suggest which color bronzer I should ge?  Red or yellow?   I'm NC 44/45, with golden undertones.

Does anyone else think the green eyeliner might be dupeable with sweet n punchy?  My list is getting shorter and shorter.  Paying off bills, trying to go on two trips within two weeks of one another, and finally going to buy that car. LOL  I'll probably get the eyeshadows, and the red lipstick.  Maybe handforged.

Sweet & Punchy is much more yellow than the eyeliner Emerald Sea. I'm not sure about the bronzer, but i think they are all quite light. Refined Golden is the darkest so i guess that one would show up the best on you.

FINALLY hit submit on my order!  This collection baffled me more than I thought it would!

Shellcat helped me sort out my cart... And I THINK this will be my only HS order!  I will get a bronzer as well when Shellcat tells me which one looks nicest on our skintone at the counter.  But then... THAT'S IT!  I'm taking Mac-Guy's advice.  ONE order.  I put a lot of thought into it!  So I hope I can stick to my guns this time!

The bronzer on the left is NoB (my favorite so far). The other two are Sun Dipped and Soft Sand, although I am not sure which of the two is in the middle and which is on the right. (Forgot that, sorry)

Yes, I do. However, I rarely buy MUFE. There is only one MUFE counter nearby that only has a limited part of MUFE's stuff and I don't get a discount there. I can take an hour / hour and a half drive to go to the nearest store, but since there is nothing else there for me, that's a long drive. I can also get the discount from a webshop, but the shipping costs are fairly high so in order for your discount to have any use you will have to buy quite a few things. I usually don't take the risk of ordering. Perhaps one day though.

I also have a pro membership of Make Up Store, which is a Swedish brand of which the quality is comparable to MAC. Their store is located 2 stores next to the MAC pro store in the Netherlands. Since pro members only get a 20% discount there, I always get my stuff at MAC first and pass by Make Up Store afterwards. Never really buy many things there, just a few items max.

Happy Hauling pro's! Hope the collection will be up on the regular site soon!

I finally settled on the green e/s and Crew. I've been going back and forth on Crew for a few days and I just ordered it. Yay! I think it might be wonderful. If it's awful, hey, it's a makeup adventure! girlhaha.gif

Someone PLEASE tell me that this item - gorgeous though it might be - just isn't for me. Next year will probably have a gorgeous warm toned pretty powder and I just need to be patient, right?

Don't get it. ohboy.gif You might get the peachy tone to work for you but it's a hassle searching it out. Other products work better for you. There will be lots of other items that'll look great on you!

Lol, it feels wrong to write this but I truly think that Crew is a pretty waste of money for you. For reference I'm Nw10 and I've stood by and looked at the pretty summer specials for two years in a row just wishing my skin was a bit warmer.
