Gah, so many reasons I can't wait for Thursday! Surprisingly getting my Hey Sailor stuff is lowest on the list (I'm taking the day off of work for my Son's birthday and we are going to the beach). Hurry up Thursday!

Ps. When I did the presale the SA said I had to pick it up on Friday. Was she mistaken? It does come out on the 24th right??

Just saw T's review of the make up bags (which I really really want) and the tote. Seriously considering the tote too, even if I know I will not use it much. SO cute...

Whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy???

See if I thought I'd use them - I'd contemplate getting them, but I just know I wouldn't.

I'm debating on Racer Red.  I'm really not sure I'd give it the love it deserves.

Try it first - I'm NC15 too and it made my skin look sallow and dull. Send Me Sailing gloss looked waaaay better, but SMS on top of Red Racer still didn't look that hot with my skin tone.

Hell, I almost passed on SMS, except it's the perfect level of opacity, while still having some inner translucency and depth, rather than just a dense red mushy sludge layer. My MA was thinking it was possibly using the Glam Gloss formula, based on what he saw of them at training - super pigmented and opaque plus ultra wet and lacquer-like.

i finally received a shipping notice and i ordered last Wed.  Im so annoyed

I'm not sure why, but that's been the case whenever I order early from a Nordstrom counter. Sometimes I try showing up on launch day and they'll give me my order, but often I have to wait until the morning after. 

Oh really?  Maybe I should pass.  I don't wear lipgloss so I wouldn't even be able to try that over it.  I don't have a counter I can easily get to though so if it's a hit-miss thing I may just skip it to be on the safe side.  I don't usually wear red anyway so it's probably best not to risk ordering one I'm not 100% sure on.

I was debating whether or not to buy it - in the end I justified the purchase because I don't have a "satin" finish red lipstick. Hahaa. And I'm a huge sucker for packaging.

You're welcome!!! I know you were stressing out about life stuff, so I wanted to make sure you could get everything you wanted (just one less thing to stress over, right?) Now you have something to look forward to! Hopefully it'll arrive soon.

I had absolutley no intention of ordering Red Racer but since I have NO red lipsticks I got sucked in. I hope it works for me.

Bleh that stinks! Well, I'll try to see if I can pick it up on the launch day and see if they'll give it to me... either way it's still faster than ordering on Nordstrom.com at this point still...they always take forever to get to me...

I'm looking on the site and it says my Nordstrom counter has it in stock...I am just going to call when they open and see if I can get it early, maybe I'll get lucky..

That's what I do. I order online (and get the ebates, heh) and pick it up in store. I was able to get my TC blushes a few days before it officially released. IIRC, for TC they only had the "pick up in store" option for a day or so. Then they took it off until the collection officially released.

I'll have to call them to make sure...I'd hate to do the "pick up in store" and then still wait until Friday because I'll have to call and cancel my pre-sale anyway and that might get confusing. If I can actually pick it up early then I can go there and cancel the pre-sale and be sure I don't get double charged for it.

I'm sure you'll be able to do it. For TC, I placed an order on Monday am and picked it up that same day. I placed an order today for pick up, I'll let you know how that goes.

Thanks~. Nordstrom opens in about 10 min. so I am going to call then and see...if I can do it then I'll order it for pickup from store :)

Aww thanks dear :) they're all from the sun. Sometimes they get pretty dark and prominent in the summertime. I gotta take better caution with my skin and sun exposure, though, especially with my skintone. I freckle on my face but everywhere else I burn. 

I ordered Sail La Vie from Nordies. I tried to do the in-store pickup but once I added it to my cart, clicked "check out" and signed into my account, SLV disappeared! I did this about 5 times before I just placed an order for the regular Nordstrom shipment. *sigh* it might take forever this way, but hopefully I still get my order..

Yay for Sail La Vie!
