They told me that it shouldn't be a problem because the items are "slowing showing back up" but I don't think I want to take the chance. I just ordered from Macys :)

I also didn't care for Jaunty it is really light.  Barefoot is pretty, but there are other golds in other lines. I still love it though.  That is all I have for now, I placed another order with NOrdies today. 
I agree with Bee, depending on your needs, and where you are in collecitng, this collection is a very easy skip. 

Thanks for posting that.  I can stop obsessing about tracking RR down.  I never got the low down on if it is THAT different from MAC Red or not.

LOOOL!  I'm sorry to deliver the bad news.  But, Salute looks gorgeous with L'Oreal Color Riche gloss in Baby Blossom.  It evens out the texture of the lipstick. 

Today I got my package and this time it's Fleet Fast Blush. I have not opened my package yet and waiting until Friday to do that. Also, I'm worried about my order that I placed with Crew Highlighter and Januty e/s since MAC didn't charge me for Jaunuty e/s and worried that I will not get it tomorrow and will only get Crew Highlighter so I ordered Jaunty e/s on Nordstrom's website in case.

GlamQueen - tell us how you like Fleet Fast.  I'm loving it!  Can't believe how long lasting it is.

Hi everyone!  I normally don't post all that much but I wanted to let everyone who was planning on going to the counters on thursday that they should check to see if their counter or store is LAUNCHING on WEDNESDAY instead.  I went in today to do a presale at my local MAC store and the girl told me that BOTH NORDSTROMS and MAC will be launching the collection tomorrow.  I think it's because Nordstroms half yearly sale is starting on Wednesday.  Hope this helps those who missed out on the online launch.

YW...  It is just my opinion, and I do see the yellow in RR, BUT, I wouldn't fret about not getting it if you have a lot of reds.  And we have the lustre coming out with Heavenly creatures.  I know that is easier said than done.  I STILL want to see Party Parrot and Flamingo on me.  I don't care how many dupes/swatches I find. LOL 

here is a swatch of Red Racer, Runaway Red, Kanga Rouge, and Viva Glam.  They aren't exact, RRacer is brighter.  But I personally don't think I need both, and like KR much better.  But it is a pretty red.

I haven't gotten my shipping notice yet, but my items usually show up before I do. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say they'll arrive Thursday (possibly even tomorrow). The warehouse is nearby.

I didn't order RR; I will take a look at it in store. One of the MUAs in the freestanding store I walk past (on the direct path to my office) actually stepped out of the store today to intercept me and ask if I was wearing Sail La Vie. It's pretty bad when they see me and KNOW I'm wearing a new product. I mentioned that I only ordered it online because they always sell out quickly when she said to just let her know when I want a LE item and she'll put it aside. Anytime.

I had no idea they'd do that, and I certainly never asked. Anyway, she's now pulled a couple of items for me and said it was fine if I don't want them when I see them. How nice is THAT?! You do realize that the odds of me NOT getting Sun Dipped are now roughly zero.

it looks great with both liners, but i think i prefer with redd as well.  i might try RR out on thursday, if they still have it in stock by the time i get there!

aelic Gold and Barefoot are almost indistinguishable.  I wore Barefoot today and thought it had a green tint to it.  I don't really remember that with Gaelic Gold but I haven't worn that one in a while.  I thought Barefoot might be like Henna but it really isn't.  Henna is an olive color.  Barefoot is definitely gold.

 

I wore my Hey Sailor stuff today.  I tried Sun Dipped again.  I still wasn't diggin' it.  I went for the dior bronzer I just bought - just dusted all over Sun Dipped.   I wore Crew as well.  I know yesterday I said it looked like a white highlighter on me.  Oops.  Today it is definitely looking pink.  I did use a different brush today (#189).  I like it but I don't know if I like it with Fleet Fast blush.  It just kind of blended all together. But maybe it's supposed to?? I don't know.   But I like it and will try it with more blush colors.  On eyes: Barefoot on lid, Henna in the outer V and Jaunty as a highlight.  Definitely Feline(bronze) Superslick liquid eye liner on upper lashline, Emerald Sea on lower lashline, Dior coral pink lipstick.  I got a compliment on the look today.

thanks for all the swatches! i didn't realize tarnish was so greenish (so close to mystery)! do you think that's just from the lighting, or are they close to dupes?

i have henna, but not gaelic gold or for that matter gorgeous gold, so i probably won't be repeating anything i already have with barefoot...

I got that same email. I like how they act like they are doing you a favor when its fault they didnt charge you in the first place. I won't get my stuff until Friday because I'm going out ot town tomorrow. It better be in my box!

 I placed an order on Jaunty on the same day MAC launched the collection that same day. I was confused and irritated as well. I ordered one off of Nordies in case I don't get it.

I bet it'll be ok :) no worries :) It was weird because it's on the packing slip with just no price to it. I was soooo sure it wouldn't come either, but it did! So I have high hopes for everyone else.

Also, how awesome is it that I got my package a day early? I stuck some RR on and   It's so pretty. I def need lipliner with it though because it was a mess once I smacked my lips :)

One thing I should mention is that I got the 2 cosmetic type bags. They are cute... but, very, very lightweight. I have t-shirts that are thicker than the "canvas" material. They almost feel like cheap knock-offs. Actually, had I bought these on ebay or something without seeing these in person first, knock-off would've been my first thought. I just think that if they used an actual heavy duty canvas and a nice thick liner, people would be willing to pay more. I have much more expensive bags than these but they are worth it! They will last forever. These ones.... not so sure. 

I debated returning them but I just love the *look* of them despite how they feel in the hands. Actually, my only huge beef with them is that the "canvas" is a thin material. The gold rope and gold toned hardware look and feel sturdy.

I got Au Rose yesterday and I don't care for it much. I have to put a super thin layer on otherwise it does exactly what prettykitty said it would -- the dreaded lipgloss strings. The texture is similar to Jack Black Balms but they way it behaves on the lips is totally different. I'm actually going to recommend skipping the Suntints and just getting a JB one for half price.

Crew is everything I had hoped it would be. It's gorgeous. I love it... omg!

Oh hey, this collection comes out thursday right?!? I thought on the 24th? I called my local FS store to order 2 items and she said I couldn't pick them up until the 29th ?!?

This just cements the fact that I need to get Cherry. Thank you for the pictures! Very helpful.
