I'm so pissed off with Mac today. I was happily playing with my black box and new goodies earlier today until it came to my mind "did I really pay that much for this (little) amount of items?" NO! Sun Dipped and 167 SH Brush are missing from my order!!?? I called the mail order right away and all they could say was that "sorry, we have no control over the stock".

If a Mac employee enters my order directly into their system, they have no control over the stock??? I placed my order within less than 24 hours from the release 12 days ago and the items were not sold out for days after that.

 

Not happy . I will not pay the local rip off price for the brush (almost the double compared to US), and all the bronzer are sold out, of course.
 

I finally tried Jaunty (my tactic is to try one new product at a time and stretch out the love).  Woah.  (imagine that in the Keanu Reeves voice from the Matrix).  This is my HG "I am looking like a Hollywood starlet with thick black eyeliner and a soft pale gold eye" look.  Its love.

 

And, I don't know why I waited so long to get Crystal Avalanche, but I love it on the tearducts and brow.  I  know its perm, so no rush, but I love it in the special packaging, easier to find in the MU drawer.

 

And, if anyone is looking for a lip erase in the prolongwear formula, Saunter is it.  I look half dead in it--imagine Myth in prolongwear lip pencil form. 

 

I am not so sure I am loving TCAS, as I wore Saunter underneath and it didn't look right--way too chalky.  Gonna try that again later.

 

I could not resist a 2nd haul after the restock, so I got Fleet Fast and Feeling Fresh plus the red prolongwear liner.  Have not tried them yet, reviews will follow in the slow fashion.

 

Did I mention the make up bags are so fricking cute?  I am not sure if they are my favorite of the collection, or the eyeshadows or the lip products.  I have to say, I think I am liking this the best of ANY summer collection from MAC, as yet.  Yes, even better than Semi Precious, or To the Beach or Surf Baby.

 

Yep. I understood that they might restock, but that would not help me. If they do not have the items on the dispatch day, you won't get them.

 

They are going to refund (have to stalk my account to make sure they do), but it still sucks when you do not get what you paid for.

 

That's awful! Also, I thought they are only suppose to charge your credit card/debit card when they actually ship you the items. Whenever I order something online, they usually tell me that items will only be charged once they're shipped.

 

Until now I have thought so too (and so far it has always been like that). I was actually credited the day I ordered (Friday), and I just thought that they were quick to ship my items. That was not the case though, they shipped the following week only.

 

I don't get any detailed messages on my orders (just a comfirmation that I have ordered). They do send a paper note, but it always arrives after the package.

Does Mac online UK ship to Finland? I always thought they ship only to UK addresses. Or do you order somewhere else?

 

No, it's not the UK online, but UK Mail Order you have to call to.

Today I'm sporting Jaunty on the inner lid with Barefoot in the V and Havana in the crease with winged liner. Gorgeous neutral eye with a kick! I'm definitely putting a good dent in Jaunty lately. Looove it!

Glam Queen, you look beautiful in both those lg's but since I'm a red lippie addict I think u look drop dead hot in the SMS! Honestly, there is a red that works for everyone, but you just got to search for the right one & u hit it out of the park. I hope this means we will see more beautiful FOTDS with nice red lips.

I'm NC20 and went with Sun Dipped, it feels a little easier for me not to look overdone. NOB looked a little muddy on me. HTH.

Hi everyone! I've missed you guys & missed the MU addicts enabling group I was a part and missed the friendships I felt a part of.

On the day that HS hit stores I posted about my cruddy day & week it had been. I was so overwhelmed & thankful by the positive thoughts that were sent my way. I really appreciate it. I was going to write everyone back, but everything unraveled in life so I was unable to get on & write.

Life's been kickin me down and MU hasn't been a big blip on my radar.

Thanks for all the warm fuzzies I got from a lot of you about the things that happened to me.

I hope I will be able to get back in the groove of things.

I re-tried sail la vie yesterday at home.... I'm thinking about giving it a second (well, third) chance. I need a pin up look so i get used to the orangeness.

I typically do a pin up (simple neutral eye with liner and crazy lip) to get used to new colors. I dont know why...

I do that as well. A pin up look works with every colour i've tried so far.

weird idea for you piarpeet: my mua today was rocking an orange lip and had like a pale-peachy look going on with light bronzer and keep it casual on the cheekbone really blended out.. I want to say she had something like samoa silk on her lids and just mascara but it looked awe-rsome....It was really ethereal but modern!

I passed by a Mac store today so I had to stop in of course.  I ended up picking up a back up of Shore Leave lip liner.  I'm really trying to limit backups but since I sharpened shore leave today, I figured I might just go through this lip liner easily.  I also picked up Hover.  Thanks Bee!  What with me and lipliner lately?  I rarely wear it and I've picked up quite a few this season.  Oh and while I was searching for Hover, I found this slightly shimmery brown one that I loved, Sweet Brown.  It was a cremestick pearl liner.  I didn't even know there was such a thing.  Well, of course they were out of stock.  Now I have to go do research to see if it is still around or not.  I skipped the white gloss for now.  It didn't really look shimmery to me.  I will have to take another look later.  I don't think that one will sell out easily.  In the meantime, I must stay out of Mac stores.  I was seriously tempted to buy a blush brush I wanted but I'm planning a major Heavenly Creatures haul.

 

Edit - I'm such a dodo.  I was supposed to get Have to Have it, not Hover.  Yikes and they had Have to Have it too.  I saw 2 of them.  Will go back.

 

P.S. I forgot to mention, I wore Shore Leave filled it with an orange gloss (Chanel) over it.  I think next time I'll use the Mac orange gloss (Riviera) with that liner.

How is everyone liking the lipliners and eyeliners from this collection? I' really need a new red lipliner,not sure if I should get this,a perm red shade like cherry or something cheaper like 1 from nyx. I really want the same red as in the promo pic though. Does anybody know exactly what products is on the model on the promo pic?

OMG - that is sooo nice of you!!  Thank you for offering!  I will pass on Blessedly Rich, though.  I feel like it was meant to be and it's now one less item I'll feel guilty about once Heavenly Creature comes out!!  LOL
