I also bought Center of the Universe, Cusp of Dawn, and last night I ordered Strictly Plutonic, so hopefully I will get that tomorrow.

I got a few of my items today and I am so in love with water MES! I'm usually not drawn to that type of color, but something about it was just too beautiful to say no. It looks so gorgeous on! I couldn't stop staring at my eyes all day. Also Ring of Saturn is a MUST! It isn't glittery whatsoever! It gives me that just got back from the beach glow! It looks really natural like I just came in from being out in the sun! I'm kinda iffy about meteoric. It's not as flattering on me as I had hoped. It looks a bit too orange on my lips. I'm going to try it again tomorrow. It's so gorgeous in the tube! I want to love it!

So today I went & spent almost 2 hrs deliberating!  They even let me swirl (squirrel lol) hunt & I hand picked each of my mineralize products!!! Ive never felt so close to an entire collection!!! lololol Everything is just gorgeous! Heres what I will be picking up on thursday...

Earthshine msf (looooove the gold/bronze/green sheen in this one!!!)

Star wonder msf

Center of the universe msf

Sloar ray mb

Ring of saturn mb

Stratus mb

Universal appeal mes

Magnetic attraction mes

Earthly mes

Sky mes

Invincible lite mes

Fire sign

Venus

Cut a caper

Astral csg

Meteoric csg (surprise love!)

Cant wait to pick up my new collection... I keep drooling over everyones swatches! I was so excited about the colors I totally forgot about VAE! Ill have to remember it on thursday! Someone at the MAC counter told me the VAE is limited cuz the volcano they get the ash from doesnt erupt that often therefore they have limited supply of the ash for the product... Anyone else hear that?

I chuckled a bit after reading that. If that's the case, then thank you volcano for erupting. LOL.

On another note, my resolve is slowly starting to weaken! I possibly want Earthshine MSF, Stratus MB, and Galaxy Rose CS. Someone, anyone... talk me out of it!

That's what I'm trying to tell myself! I CAN DO IT!!!! We can both do it! NO HC Lippies! lol

I have well over 100 lipsticks, about half of them are MAC ones. I gotta give love to my existing babies! I am about 2/3 done with my first Flamingo. WOOT!

Just say NO liesierre!!! If you're really tempted to get a similar color, look up Urban Decay's shattered. I promise it delivers in duochromey goodness!

I just do not like dealing with MES. Apply them wet etc etc. UGH. No patience! lol. So if that's why you don't like MES, don't buy it just for the color and get something in a much easier-to-deal-with product!

NOOOO. Urban Decay Shattered instead! Just BU Meteoric and then you'll have something you know you'll love flower.gif

i think I'll just spackle them on with pixie epoxy. i use loose glitter all the time, I'm sure I can handle an MES... I CAN DEW THIS. *justifies*
post #3643 of 7900

Woops. My bad. I thought you wanted Sky liesierre. *sigh* lol

still...I saw you bought MES anyway lol. Magnetic Attraction is a very nice choice. *drools over it*

I've been stalking this collection like a hawk! The only thing that interests me is Light Year MSF but should I save up for the Tom Ford Love Lust blush ($55) or get Light Year MSF ($29) instead?

Btw Allura just released a post on the cremesheen glasses and MES!

Recap (because even I can hardly make sense of all that's written above), I would get the 165 (if you can find it) for highlighting and sculpting, and I guess my preferred regular blush brush would be the 168, which sculpts well too and you could make it work for highlighting, but I prefer 165 for that. The 182 for buffing and should you want a face powder brush (for an all over dust of setting powder) I would get the 134, but it''s pricey...

Other requests?

I'm still kinda old school (well, i'm old, after alltease.gif) and use my fingers for many face products (primer, concealer, liquid foundation). I use MAC 188 for most blushes and a fluffy angled eye shadow brush for highlighters - i really want to control exactly where i'm putting it. And a fluffy blush brush for my face powder. But i'm willing to change and expand my repertoire...

I'm especially interested in eye brush recommendations - applying, blending, lining, etc.

I have all sorts of not super special eye shadow brushes - when i got back into makeup a few years ago after a hiatus i didn't want to sink the big bucks into brushes i might never use. Some are ok, but i'm sure there are better. I mostly use powder shadows, both pressed & loose - i want to try some wet. And i have a few cream shadows.

And i'm still looking for a REALLY FINE eye liner brush. I like tight lining, especially on my upper lid. Had a great one i bought in Japan in 1972, but i lost it a couple year ago and haven't found one as good since. I use dry cake, gel/cream, and liquid liners.

Sorry if someone already asked, i guess i'll eventually find the message. There's so much Swirl Party-ing going on in here it's hard to keep up!

The handful of times I've tried to use pixie epoxy my eyelids had this gross sticky feeling like there was fly trap goo on them and I couldn't ignore it lol.

Btw Allura just released a post on the cremesheen glasses and MES!

If you're a fan of Tom Ford, I say go for it, however if you're wanting to look at the amount of product, Light Year gives you 2g more product (10g for MAC MSF versus 8g for TF Blush) and is $26 less.

I apologize for the ginormous pics

Sky and Earthshine both applied wet. Picture taken in sunlight.

UD Shattered, Tilt, Sky, Earthshine

THAT'S IT I'm getting Sky. I have a check scheduled to clear on Friday so I hope it's still on the website then!

woot. That's what I like to do with Shimmermint MES from Glitter & Ice. Its sheer shimmery goodness is perfect for night's out.

That's true. I like saving money but I'm sadly a blush fanatic and can't decide if buying a "luxury" brand blush is actually worth the extra $$. Of course it differs by brand but that makes the choice all that more difficult!

First.... I think I need a back-up of Meteoric! It's SO gorgeous!! Also, I need Earthly. Time for a second order I guess!

Second, I wore Magnetic Attraction over Chilled On Ice p/p with Twilight Falls in the crease and Teddy eye kohl as a liner. I loved it! Very pretty combo.

I played a lot with my msf in earthshine today and then richelle gave me the idea of using it as an eyeshadow. Sin ce i liked the look of skybuit was not sure if i would get a swirl with more gold, i decided to make my own version of sky.I used tresure hunt paint pot, odalisque mega metal and the gold part of earthshine (wet).what do u think.is it nice?

Sounds like a good idea...but now I'm tempted by Neo Nebula, looks like it could be really pretty as an eyeshadow and as a blush maybe *sighs* I'm hopeless.  If I actually got everything that I'm tempted by in this collection, it would be over $300

Love it!!! Glad to see Earthshine is working for you! Have to try this tomorrow.

Don't worry about swatching. Just enjoy your goodies! cheerleader.gif

I saw Christine (Temptalia)'s review at youtube. I thought Earthshine would make a beautiful eyeshadow. I liked the lighting in her video. amuse.gif

For the first time since falling for mac and wanting a coll I didn`t order right away. It took me 2 days to decide, T`s swatches helped because is similar to may skintone and i`m familiar with her ways. unfortunately cut a caper sold out. I bought Star wonder msf and I`m still undecided about centre of the universe. From the swatches i`ve seen it could be very similar with nars luster on my skin. I would love one like duckrodeo "drunk swirler" but what are the chances to that? :)

The mes are still a enigma for me, too many, though they look very beautiful
