I would try it with the 131. It gives a beautiful light application w/o too much effort. Enjoy!

I got a smashed Star Wonder yesterday - but MAC is sending me another - HOPEFULLY very pink & plum colored & little gold. I didn't see much plum or pink in the crumbles. I brushed on some of the plum that I could find & then buffed it out - very very very beautiful. Too bad the re-send will not arrive until next week now. :(
Aw, I hope you get lovely pink-plummy swirls.
That show specifically I am obsessed with! Can't dance worth a durn but it's cool to others doing it.

Yes, we get almost too much sunshine here. LOL
I don't have any of the MSFs you mentioned, but I cannot wait to see Star Wonder next week! I'm curious now! Thank you, liba!
I like her video reviews, too. I say the lighting is more accurate in her videos than in her swatch pics. She's excellent.
You know which swirl you should get, Mac-Guy. LOL I'll keep your recs in my mind when I'll be at my counter next week. I'm excited! Thank you, Mac-Guy!
So sorry, your got a smashed Star Wonder, elegant. I'm glad MAC is sending you another one. Hope you'll get it very soon! MAC has an excellent customer service. MAC is re-sending me Light Year, too. They accidentally sent me MSF Natural (a random shade) instead. ![]()
I love to order Star Wonder online, but I better get it at my counter next week. Hope I can wait.
Thanks, hun!
and Virgos! August is a busy B-day month for me and NOVEMBER. I have about 20 b-days in nov between my family and my husband's family....sooooo many Scorpios

I'd say if you are feeling skipper's remorse, don't get too worried. Ring of Saturn is gorgeous, but it looks like there will be similar colors in standard powder blush coming up in Style Seeker.
Venus is a beautiful color - you of all people shouldn't miss it. On my red lips, it looks like a very soft rose pink with a touch of a lavender/plum cast (but very subtle). It'll be a great year round color you'll get lots of use out of.
Invincible Light is actually one of the best of the MES. If you love Young Venus, but wish it was a little sheerer and less sparkly and a bit more natural colored, you will go crazy for Invincible Light. I've got prominent brow bones and can't wear a lot of different highlight colors without it looking aging and "fake", but Invincible Light is one of them!!! I get excited when I can find one that works on the brow for me as well as this one.
Earthshine is very problematic for light skin, especially if you can't pick your own swirls. Even if you can, you may need to find a burgundy swirl so tiny that they just don't have one with small enough swirls. It seems like some pale gals are making it work, but OMG it did NOT work for me at all (NC15, but very warm toned NC15 now that it's summer). The tester I was using didn't have much burgundy in it, either, especially compared to a lot of the unopened MSFs my MA showed me. Center of the Universe was way more flattering, as was Star Wonder. I think the main issue for me is the fact I have freckles that Earthshine managed to blend in with in just a way to make my skin look like one big dirty age spot. Stratus MB was a much better brown shade for my warm toned skin and was much easier to deal with as a contour color for me. Your mileage may vary, but if you're looking to save money here and there, you don't have to feel too bad about Earthshine in the long run. If you're light skinned but don't have freckles, it might be a lot easier to use too. Also will probably be better on NW than NC. I DID want to love it so bad! It's a beauty.
So overall, how about Venus and maybe Invincible Light if Young Venus isn't everything you need? Skipper's Remorse is no fun, but neither is over-spending on products that might be hard to use or dupeable.
A Sky with lots of the cobalt blue would look amazing with dark red hair!!!
If I was more of an NC20, I could maybe have gotten away with Earthshine, but wow it didn't work the magic on me. It's like a darker version of Lush Light Bronze, but also a touch cooler than LLB too. I cleansed my face three times and tried re-applying it with different brushes and from more targeted parts of the pan and just had to admit it wasn't working and looked dirty as all get out. Semi-Precious Goldstone, it is not, sad to say.
Stratus MB was gorgeous, on the other hand - those undertones make all the difference!
If you want it to pull plummy and you're just wearing it as a blush or contour anyways, you should check out Stratus! Also, Star Wonder for plumminess too (with pink, of course). The burgundy swirl in ES looks more reddish in the pan than it does on the face. Try it before you buy it is a good motto with this one if you're fair!
Lol, I feel like the Doom Bringer about Earthshine, because it really is stupendously gorgeous, but it could wind up sitting gathering cobwebs for some gals, if you don't have a skin tone that's dark enough or cool enough. I AM glad to see MAC do some colors that aren't universally flattering, though, because more targeted colors always wind up looking extra-beautiful on the people who they're suited for; more than the colors that are trying to be all things to all people.
IMO, it's definitely better suited for NW complexions. It is more cool-toned due to the burgundy - even the tiniest amount of burgundy will turn with MSF more cool.
And yup, it's a plummy version of LLB, but also more brown. Just gorgeous!
For those who can't pick Earthshine themselves but want a specific swirl, just get a CP.

Yep! I will be in a month and a half, anyway.
I pretty much never go in the sun...ever. I had pretty good skin naturally before... like i never had severe acne or anything, even as a teenager... but i do get some really dry spots (like my forehead)...
the dermarolling is probably the best thing that has helped though... it sorta tricks your skin into thinking it needs to heal itself, so more collagen, more firmness, etc...
I didnt know you could use a dermaroller for so many things....I need to use it all over my body....I think I need one for each hand.

I'll go look for the 'Thong Song' on YouTube now...

I was gonna write the same thing! I really don't see them when I look in the mirror, it's so weird. And then I see a picture of myself and I'm like: oh, right, I have freckles, I totally forgot! LOL!
Spanky, here are some comparison swatches: Angelic Vibes From MAC Heavenly Creature |
Since I have Ever Hip I feel I can skip Cut a Caper, to me they seem close enough to not need both.
Ok folks -
Now that I've worn Sky I'm thinking it reminds me of Big T - so if you've been collecting for awhile and already have Big T, Cool Heat, Pompous Blue or something along those lines you really don't need it. I also found that the frost really didn't transfer onto my eyelid for any significant period of time. I like Big T more, and this will probably be going back.
In the midst of getting ready for the evening I had to run an errand so I'm not dressed but my face is mostly done here.
Natural sunlight, colors are true

I think these will come out in August: [MAC] 아시아에서 영감을 받은 클래식한 크림쉰 + 펄 (CREMESHEEN + PEARL) 컬렉션 :: 네이버 블로그
ive seen several pics where it looks GORGEOUS on the girls... I'm nw25ish and on me, it's just meh...but I do LOVE galaxy rose...

We already have a thread for these:
I think these will be available everywhere.
really its not that painful...just an annoying sensation for the most part... like getting a tattoo... and after you just feel kinda sunburned...but a hyaluronic sheet mask for 45 min afterwards takes almost all the red away for me.
thanks for the info...i might try it out if i can get a hold of one of those rollers!
