MAC Heavenly creature discussion - Page 145

I'm going on Thursday to see & swatch from my own point of view. Don't get me wrong, I've looked at everyone's suggestion & FOTDs or LOTD, etc. & there is a lot of good looking stuff, but I just want to see it in person. I've made some notes, but as it draws near & asssess the swatch pics again I may need y'alls help. My girl always puts 1 of everything away for me. Love her & then I go & play. This might be tricky tho because it may involve some swirl hunting...hopefully not.

I said to hubs, what days do u get off this week (for the 4th of July), I was nervous about this launching of the 6th & him not wanting to take me or saying I didn't think u were going to get anything. (I mean what if there is something that I don't need that will fill a void in my MU collx). So he said I only get off Wed! ;( but now I can get up early & be at the store to take my time searching & swirl hunting if necessary We had great quality time today, so it worked out well for me to go check it out & not be rushed & really think about my purchases.

This will be my first Mineralized launch, so I'm excited but trying to keep it to a minimum...which could be very, very hard.

Team Willpower still exists at this point, tho. But I've thought about ordering a couple CSGs & a LS or 2 but it's so damn hot here I know it will melt if I'm not home. So best just to wait for store launch!

Can anyone explain why some people were able to get their goods yesterday at MAC FS stores? Our FS store isn't launching until Thurs.

& 1 more thing. Wasn't someone talking about buying a coupon book from Nordstroms & u get 10 off or something??? I was at the BB counter & she only mentioned the Anniversary Special Edition stuff coming up.

Omg, that really sucks! I'm so sorry it sold out on you. The other sites haven't released theirs yet so maybe you'll be able to get it then. 

Well, mine isn't. I think someone swatched it many pages back too.

Redhead is much more pigmented (for me) than light year. On my skin, only the shimmer really shows from light year on me.

I live in the springs. It has been a long heartbreaking week, but the whole city has been so united. That's very sweet of you to be tHinkin of us! Luckally me n my hubby live far enough. We just get the smoke and smell at my place. They have it 45% contained now, which is awesome. It was only 5% for almost a week.

I think I need my temperature taken.  I'm just not in love with these MES.  I didn't get any MSF's or MB's, but I'm not even excited or anxious to see the collex next week or sad that it is selling out.

Aww thanks! I think so! I've only taken the three tests so far.. But all signs point to yes. Lol
I just hold off on more HC products until I know for sure though.

I was interested in finally trying the volcanic ash exfoliator. I can't believe it has gone up by $10 since 2009 (Canada). I will pass. As I've never tried it before, I won't be missing it. I do understand why those of you that love it will be stocking up, regardless of price, as a good scrub is hard to find!

I think they were referring to the Bay, which I believe is in Canada. Nothing special going on at Nordies (where I'm now placing my online order, hurray!)

I'm quite happy with Earthshine and CotU after all, and I wanted a light Light Year with little metallic, but SW is a little meh...?

 

 

These swirls are nice, especially Solar Ray,  & Supernova and Stratus with more of the lighter part.

 

 

Happy with the swirly Invincible Light!

 

BTW, I swatched Pleasureseeker at Mac and mine at home to compare. They are not 100% the same. The new one is more pink, like there's some Flamingo going on with it.

A positive test means that you are indeed pregnant.  Congrats! Is this your first? Just relax you have 9 months and pregnancy is something that is life changing. I would buy what you want if you can swing the cash and enjoy while you have time to sit and put on your makeup lol. I have a toddler and of course I got really into makeup after having her and it would've been so much easier when I was still pregnant. I hope your feeling well and that you have a happy and healthy 9 months.
