my two star wonders and cusp of dawn came in today :) now just the wait for my final package!

I have 2 questions for you all!

First, how are the MB compared to the MSF from this collection? Are they less sparkly? I might want one.. if they are a little less sparkly than my Star Wonder.

Annnnnd, I need a coral lip pencil for my Cut A Caper (and all the coral lipstick I bought). Would you think Shore Leave (Hey Sailor) would be a good choice? I bought In Anticipation, because Shore Leave was sold out.. but now it's back in stock and I got my In Anticipation today and it's way too pink for Cut A Caper! I have In Synch too, which is too pale! The nude shades like Subculture just doesn't do it, too brown.

Edit: I have a third question! lol How is Aurora compared to Earthly? I think I need it! :)

I love Star Wonder! I really want a backup but I know I'll never get through an entire MSF :/

Same lol. I'm just finally flattening the dome of Dainty, and I've used that nearly every day for a year! Can't even imagine finishing an MSF in my lifetime.

Aurora is pretty brown, kinda similar to Lie Low prolongwear eyeshadow. Earthly is much lighter and more taupe in comparison.

Lip pencils, you may have to branch out and buy NYX, they have a few coral type colors that will work.

MB's I believe have more of a sheen than the MSF's, especially Ring of Saturn and I think Stratus, Supernova ok maybe all 4 have a sheen to them lol. But then again they are a little sparkly too. I'm not helping here!

I don't have any of the MSFs from this collection, but the MBs definitely are shimmery. Since I have to wear RoS and SN so lightly, the shimmer doesn't show at all. But it's totally visible with SR, because I don't have to mute it. So, it just depends on how you wear them. But I wouldn't say they are sparkly or glittery, just shimmery/frosty.

I guess I haven't tried any new MAC lustres, but they still feel thick to me instead of buttery smooth. I own a handful of MAC, but I never wear them.

Then I HOPE you have snatched up some of the Revlon Lip Butters!  Those are creamy and dreamy on the lips!

I do hope you give MAC lippies another shot sometime... you may be surprised!

And an update on delivery...I'm boycotting MAC until they drop Yodel as their courier in the UK. I payed for speedy delivery, or so I thought.

If my package isn't here tomorrow I'm going to be very upset. I feel left out until I can share my swirls!

Agreed!  Yodel needs to go.  I think they're the reason that we never get free express shipping codes in the UK.  MAC needs to bring in UPS or Fedex.

Ladies! Should I order a BU SR online now or wait until I can visit the store on Monday? What do you think?

I have one, but of course I had to buy a red which I don't wear! XD I'd like to try other colors though. The formula is fantastic.

I may again in the future if there's something that really strikes me as a must have color.

Oh you HAVE to get more!  They are exactly the lip product consistency you described that you like!  And they have TONS of shades!  Check around your drugstores or Ulta, as they are always having sales where you can B1G1 1/2 off or even free!  That's when I stock up!

I blame Richelle (when in doubt, always blame Richelle). girlhaha.gif

While I was there, I got Magnetic too. I almost went for Aurora but reason prevailed because the Canadian price is so high.

We're going to Italy later this month (trip of a lifetime for us) and it will be very hot. I convinced myself that some bronzer and the Light Year would be a quick easy look, and CSG are a lot better to tote than lippies that will get soft in the heat. I'm 3/4 through my Star Quality and I liked it so much that I should probably just order another of those instead. I'm trying to finish 3-4 l/g this summer.

That's the annoying thing. MAC used to use UPS and then they switched to Yodel.  Nothing but delays ever since.  I usually would have my black box within 48hrs.  Now - it's 2am, I'm STILL refreshing the tracking page and it STILL says it's waiting to be COLLECTED ffs.  It's been like this since about 10am.  I'm pissed.

Thanks for the tip :) I will definitely check around. They're so inexpensive compared to YSL or Chanel, so why the heck not!

I'll definitely be wearing it sparingly. I don't know your skintone but I think it is more difficult for the fairer skinned ladies. If you're having troubles, try patting a little of your facial powder over the top of it. That really helps tone it down for me.

When picking swirls on the msf's what am I looking for?
Can anyone tell me what the variation is and what it will do

Your Light Year is especially pretty!

I swear I will never get bored of looking at all the different swirls - whoever came up with the idea for this collection is a genius :)

WTF2.gif just happened?

I know! Same thing happened to me. I was happy just having Light Year, but after looking at everyone's swirls, I now own Star Wonder as well.

I must stay away from MAC stores for a while.  thud.gif

Thanks gracie!  I got that one online!  The other ones I got at the store but i didn't get to pick out Star Wonder.  (I sort of wish my SW had less plum/purple and more pink... but it's still pretty).
