Well having finally swatched everything, I think I might go back for another Solar Ray, hopefully with not much gold. I love the base colour it's so pretty.

I'm wearing Supernova today with Light Year on top. Supernova is REALLY bright, so easy to overdo. Light Year has become my favourite of the MSFs, it's such a pretty, soft pink colour. Wow!

I also tried on Eartshine last night and it is very dark, even though mine hasn't got much burgundy. Will have to keep trying ways of wearing it. All over the cheek did not work for me. I love the gold in it though, so pretty.

My Aurora has very little pink in it, it's mostly terracotta with little pink and green. :( It swatches pretty though, but would've preferred a bit more pink.

The only thing I'm getting from this collection is Cut A Caper. Thought it would be hard to skip the rest, but no. I'm not bothered about swirls and my MSFs and mineralized blushers don't get enough love as it is.

I am trying to decide if I need Earthshine! I don't think I am done with this collection yet. I have Supernova and I'm waiting on Center of the Universe, Star Wonder, and Solar Ray. I keep looking at the pictures of Earthshine an I just don't know what to do! Lol!

Same here ! I have decided that I want to swatch Earthshine myself before I buy it. The only problem is that I´m going away on holiday soon and this collection is delayed to Norway ;S

Oooh Italy!!! That sounds amazing, wouldn't mind seeing pics!

We're really looking forward it it; none of us have ever been to Europe yet and Italy is the very top of my bucket list.

I must stay away from MAC stores for a while.  thud.gif

Gorgeous!

I'm just curious. Have you decided which Star Wonder you would wear first? tong.gif

If they haven't sold out of SW, I'm going to try swatching it tomorrow. I think it will be too cool for me though (I think I hope it will be too cool).

I had gone in thinking I'd get universal appeal, but I think in the end there was too much silver shimmer, so I was worried it wouldn't look as nice on my skin as some of the warmer shimmer shades. not sure it was the right move, but maybe I can find my way back to Mac in the not so distant future.

I like my Magnetic Attraction; I wish I'd gotten one with more yellow, but I'm not sure how much of a difference it would have made. I swatched all the other MES, but none of them appealed to me; I'd expected to want Water and Sky but the swirled colours didn't end up being as deep as I thought they'd be.

We've booked a week in Rome and will split the second week between Florence and Venice. I'm considering shaving a day or two from Rome so that I spend more time exploring Tuscany on the way to Florence. Can't wait! :)

I did another quick HC look. I used Neo Nebula on my lids, Wedge in the crease as a blending colour, Sketch in the outer crease and under the eyes and Blanc Type as a highlight. On my cheeks I'm wearing Star Wonder (love this!) and Earthshine as bronzer around my face and in the hollows of my cheeks. The look is pinker in real life, but this is the best my camera could do. Sketch is really nice with Neo Nebula. It's a very flirty girly look. Also Earthshine can definitely work on light skin when used with a fan brush. I really like it.

Great look- I will defo have to try neo nebula with sketch......I love neo nebula- its like a pink version of daylight.
What do you think of blanc type as a highlight? I use phloof alot but wouldn't mind getting a less shimmery highlight

Thanks! Now that you mention it, it is a pink Daylight. I think Daylight with Sketch will look great too.

I love Blanc Type! It's my everyday highlight. Most of the time I want a matte highlight and Blanc Type is just a bit lighter than my skintone, so it works really well for me. It also has great pigmentation.

I need to get a fan brush for my Earthshine asap! :)

What brush did you use? You will see great results with the 184. You can also try the 131 if you have it.

I keep thinking about bright moon. If its around in a few weeks I may add that and the face brushes.

I need to get my hands on the 184 ASAP!

Anybody else get universal appeal and think it looks like rare find when swatched?

I swatched it in store and thought they looked very similar. I already have RF and love it to bits, so I didn't think I needed UA as well!

And I want the 184 tooo

We went on a Mediterranean cruise last August and saw Venice, Rome and Florence in addition to a several other places. You will LOVE Florence AND there is a Mac store there too! When I was there the Mac me over collection was out so that collection always makes me thing of Italy!

I'm NC15 too, and no matter what I tried (different brushes, avoiding the burgundy bits, applying on top of a lighter shade), I couldn't get it to look like anything other than dirt on me. You and me have that double whammy combo of too warm-skinned plus too fair skinned for this one. There was no way I was going to buy a huge MSF just to use it as eyeshadow, no matter how beautiful and mesmerizing it looks in the pan.

I'm glad MAC is willing to make shades that are NOT designed for all skin tones every now and then, though. A color that's specifically designed for a certain skin tone range is always going to look much more beautiful on the right people than some all-purpose color that's trying to be a fit across too general an audience. Case in point: Elude.

Heck, as it was, I spent a disgusting amount of cash on this collection and I'm thrilled with everything I got. I will say that while Earthshine was left behind for me, Stratus looks excellent on me - sexiest contour color I own by far. Just goes to show how a slight shift in undertone can make the whole difference.

I tried Earthshine and it wasn't bad on me.. but Stratus was way better! An amazing color that's super flattering.... and I was afraid of it!!!

I didn't really like Solar Ray and Center of the universe instead... I don't know why but as soon as I saw them on my arm I knew I didn't want them! It's odd because I usually love warm stuff!

So the best products on me are Ring of Saturn, Stratus, Light year and Star wonder which is AMAZING!!!
I love this collection and I don't know if I'm done... I may go back for strictly plutonic.. and maybe Eartshine but I should try that on the face...

Oooh I love this look. I was worried that some of the eyeshadows would be too frosty but you look perfect! Your cheeks look great as well, glowing but not overly shimmery.
