And THAT right there just made up my decision NOT to depot my mineralized products.

I know yours was not depotted, but still...they ARE so fragile, and without that protective casing I think they would be even MORE fragile than they are now.  *sigh*

I haven't finished many LE products either... But after hearing your desire to get your hands on another Warm Blend, I WILL BU an MSF or other mineralized product in a heartbeat!  You have scared me to death!  You KNOW you wish you could rock that WB whenever you wanted instead of feeling like you can only dust it off on a special occassion!  Your cheeks deserve that WB EVERYDAY if you want to!  HeeHee  And I had a MSF fatality w Semi Precious and had to go pay almost triple for it to replace it!  It was one I LOVED so if I had only BU'd up, I would have been fine!  So... I justify a BU under these circumstances.  THAT being said, when are we BU'ing up VENUS?!  heehee wink wink

I finally got some good swatches of Neo Nebula and Aurora....OMG  and to think I wasn't going to purchase these originally. SMH

Still trying to decide all my favorites but here is what I have so far.

Lipsticks: Venus...yes I BU'd that baby!!

Cremesheen: Astral...again BU'd!

Eyeshadow: ? not sure yet

MB: Ring of Saturn...something about that color is just amazing.

MSF: Should be obvious!! Earthshine all day everyday! Especially because I live hot ole I just sweat half to death getting my mail Florida. Perfect for year round use.

 1. Do any of you recommend the volcanic ash exfoliator?

 2. Can any of you recommend a good sun block with at least a 35 SPF that won't leave my skin looking white so that I may use it under my make up?

I am currently in Florida for the summer and my skin is not used to this extreme amount of sun, anyways thanks in advance.

I should know this living here but I don't.

Oh wait, I do know alot of women are using NARS TM as sunscreen lol and I have hear good things about this http://www.sephora.com/ultimate-sun-protection-cream-for-face-spf-55-pa-P173669?skuId=1236660 HTH!

THAT is so true!  I didn't even think about how much MORE fragile they would be AFTER the depot!  So the actual depot itself is only 1/2 the insanity!  You know I'd be too pussy to try it anyways!  LOL  You just SENDING me those pics of a depotted MSF had me freaking out!  Just walk away from the iron and screwdrivers Shell... I can answer number 1.

I DO recommend the VAE.  I feel that THIS latest release of this product is better than the previous.  The particles are finer and the entire product becomes creamy as you blend it in.

I also LOVE the fragrance of the VAE, I know a lot of folks do not, but I am a fan of earthy scents, patchouli and sandalwood, etc...

I used it the other morning and it instantly made me feel revived, and that was after a night of well...having some fun. <---- I will leave it at that.  angelic.gif

Makes my skin feel so smooth and clean afterwards.  Hope that helps.

If any of the fairer ladies who were wondering about Earthshine are interested, or anyone actually, I have swatches of it on my nc-15 arm in the photo gallery in my profile. I tried to post the pics a few pages back, but I guess since I'm a new member they were held or not posted. I also have starwonder and lightyear in there.

Breaking, misplacing, losing... NEVER need that stress over a GREAT product.  And I HATE when I feel like I can't really use a product I love as much as I want out of fear of using it all up and there being nothing on its level to replace it... If it's LE and I fall in LOVE with it.... I'M BU!  Better to have a product to swap or sell than mourning the loss of a HG item.

PS.. My Shellcat wanting more of her beloved Warm Blend comes to mind here too!  You can't even find that sucker on eBay!

Oh dear, it broke on carpet? Maybe I should back up Starwonder.. I fly/travel usually at least once a month, and I know I'll want to bring it with me. You may have me convinced. I will be so sad if I it was in a suitcase or bag and broke just from being rattled around. Didn't realize how fragile msfs are.

Hey All! I'm C4 and I've never used MSFs before. I was wondering whether I should get Star Wonder or Ring of Saturn or BOTH lol? Any advice?

I am NC35/C4 and I love both SW and RoS.  So my vote is both.

Also, I ADORE CotU.  Sorry, had to throw that in...

Just saw your pics and I must say I love the swirls in your Star Wonder! So beautiful and great swatches! I really think Earthshine is a color everyone can pull off with the right brush and application. I just love it so much eyelove.gif

My Star Wonder <3 Omg it is so pigmented. I had clown cheeks when I tried wearing it as blush LOL. I was not expected that at all D;

Star Wonder on my cheeks after I piled powder over it.

Someone stole my credit card information, so all I had was a $50 bill for this collection. I really wanted Light Year :(

FYI I found that Milani Luminoso is a REALLY good dupe of Lightyear minus the golden sparkle of the golden swirl, so basically a dupe for the light peach base color + the pinky peach swirl color. Literally VERY close, even in the finish. Its just a smidgen more apricot peach while lightyear is more pinky peach. So if you don't mind not having that golden shimmer, Luminoso is a good cheap option.

You are making me want Solar Ray! Lol. I swatched it at the store but I thought it was too shimmery. Maybe it was the tester?

I love my Starwonder swirls also lol. I really like the msfs with the mutiple swirl patterns, even though they're really the most inconvenient because you can't pick up each individual color as easily.

And about Earthshine you are exactly right! Application is key with this pigmented baby! I think it also has to do with the veining you get. I have a large amount of burgundy (which I think is the most amazing eyeshadow color ever) but the rest of the pan is a majority of the brown swirl, and the golden base is only at the very edge (which is just golden sparkle mostly anyway). That Brown color, that's the most uninteresting in the pan IMO, is really what makes it work for me as a contour color without looking dirty .

Solar Ray is really, really shimmery (but really, really pretty also heart.gif ). I think its because both the base color and the swirl have a lot of shimmer. Whereas with the other blushes, the swirl is what lends the majority of the shimmer to the product.

Heres mine. I tried to find the one with the smallest/thinnest orange swirl. Too much orange made it look too much like NARS Luster on my cheek. I had to find a way to buy this where I wouldn't feel like I was buying something too similar to something I have already.

photobucket-974-1341816158929.jpg

Here's a swatch showing how shimmery it is, even with such a small vein. The base pink color is full of shimmah!

The top liner is Ash Violet fluidline and on the bottom is a purple UD liner with some Blue Orbit shadow blended over it. And thank you! smiles.gif

LOL sorry bout that haha. Yeah It's a vicious cycle. You dont want break LE products cause if you dont have a BU you'll have to wait till its repromoted. And who knows when that will be! I also broke my prep and prime powder a couple days after I bought it! I was pisssed. Thank goodness its perm. I think the only face product I've ever backed up was Lightscapade, and that was just because of the beigescapade fiasco. I sooo wish I would have backed up the peach blush from Quite Cute and Oh So Fair bp from VV. I can def see me hitting the pan on those!

And thank you so much for the compliment beautiful! th_hug.gifWe had a good day together love.gif We ate steak and watched UFC fights. Thats how we roll. Were not a high maintenance couple lol

I just called my Mac counter because I wanted a BU of Light Year and Star Wonder and luckily they weren't sold out! The MUA was sweet enough to look for a LY with the least amount of gold and a SW with the most pink. I can pick them up tomorrow! I think I'm going to order a BU of Earthshine as well, because mine has a small crack. I love COTU as well, but not enough to get a BU, I think...

I'm going to check at my counter to see if they still have Solar Ray and try to pick up a back up with the least amount of gold. I really love the peachy-pink base colour. ♥

The peachy pink does look pretty, but the gold turns me off. I think I wouldn't use it enough so I'm happier with my BUs of the MSFs. I only got Supernova from the blushes, but I might get Ring of Saturn and/or Stratus.
