I love it - so easy to use & so modern looking. So many nudes look a little retro or too Kardashian-y, but this one is just 100% stylish.

I have pretty pigmented lips. When I first put in on I could barely see it. I was not happy. Went about my business and caught a look in the mirror again about 10 minutes later. Stunning. Definitely wakes up my complexion.

I also love Water and Bright Moon shadows. Totally out of my comfort zone so my MUA was surprised that I got these instead of "stand by colors" (basically anything purple or pink).

What e/s do you love from this?

Hi everyone! I'm behind but have read a little bit here & there & I'm glad to see how happy everyone is. As I said a few days ago things haven't been so good for me, I did get a few things but haven't even worn any MU since last Thurs. I know I was all about Team Willpower but no one was on my team (lol)...& rightfully so! I was intrigued by the swatches but I didn't buy anything sight unseen. When I saw them in person & I saw how beautiful the products were & why everyone was so excited.

I've never been so into & up to date on launch/product info & often I know more about products & launches than the MUA do (I am not saying I'm more knowledgeable application wise & I know there is a lot to keep up & don't fault them for not knowing about a lot of things, but there r things they should know that they don't & that's annoying).

It sounds dumb but I've learned a few lessons thru this launch & it was a good learning experience. 1 thing was don't go where u don't know (i.e. what the counter is like, which MUA is nicer, more honest, more knowledgable or sometimes more just filing a quota or telling u what u want to hear etc.). Experience...My swirl hunt was NOT well received & it really put a damper on the experience...I tried to explain what I was doing but they still were pissy with me & then I got flustered & couldn't focus on what I was looking for. I didn't go to my normal counter because they get like 3 of each color & knew I wouldn't have a good chance to really pick out what I wanted.

I went to a new counter in the same mall & got my swirl on, a little bit. & I totally hit it off with a couple of the ladies there, so I look forward to seeing them in the future! But I was like a freaking crazy woman & I feel like there are a few things that I should have gotten but didn't...but from reading here & there I know I'm not the only one feeling this way.

I had to put a check on myself tho because I'm excited for Illustrated & of course Marilyn.

Have any NC20ish peeps make ES or Stratus work for them in a non countour manner? They were both stunning but seeing them in person made me know they are going to look way muddy on me. I have a ton of freckles, so that would be a conflict...too bad because they are both ridiculously beautiful.

I'll post pictures in a few...days? Weeks? Months. I really didn't even mean to post such a long post I just started typing & couldn't stop. If u've read this far, thanks for listening & I look forward to catching up with everyone & ur hauls & combinations, etc.

I hope everyone is doing great!

I bought a 2nd Earthshine and Star Wonder for myself... Was trying to choose the Earthshine with as little burgundy as possible, and there is a lot of gold too, so I wonder how it will turn out. My first Star Wonder had lots of purple veining, so I chose one with more pink/champagne to contrast what I already have. I also picked up Astral l/g, such a pretty color! Even though I barely had makeup on when I visited the counter, Astral didn't look out of place on my lips - that's EXACTLY what I like about a lip product. It should dress you up, and not have you dress up your whole face just so your l/s or l/g doesn't look too "out of place".

P.S. Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the base color of Earthshine kinda resembles that of Comfort MSF?

I may again in the future if there's something that really strikes me as a must have color.

My first, and for a long time only, Revlon Lip Butter was Gumdrop, a medium-light violet. I keep running errands for my mom and her caretakers and i end up in the CVS and Rite Aid often. So i now have 4 more Lip Butters (Peach Parfait, Cremesicle, Creme Brulee, and Brown Sugar), and returned two others (Pink Truffle and Sugar Plum) because i didn't like the colors on me.

I think the formula is similar to MAC Sheen Supreme, which is currently US$14.50, whereas the Lip Butters - at US$7.49 - are almost half the price. And there was a Buy One, Get One Half Off sale, which is why i got 4 - so they cost around US$5.60 each. There might be one or two others i'll like, but that's about it for me with the Lip Butters.

MAC's Sheen Supreme collection currently has 24, while Revlon has 20 colors. But i think MAC's range is more varied and versatile than Revlon's. I own 2 Sheen Supreme - Asian Flower  ("creamy lavender" - but sadly it turns almost fuchsia on me) and Blossom Culture ("soft pink with pearlized pigments" - but it leans a bit coral) -  and i have nine on my "To Test" list.

That's a cool Earthshine. That's the first non circle-ish swirled Heavenly Creature MSF I've seen. Were there a lot like that at your counter?

My Venus lipstick just arrived, now I know why most of you guys love it!

It's perfecttt! eyelove.gif

After looking at what everyone is saying about Earthshine I feel like I am making a mistake by not getting it, I bought it but gave it to my sister now I feel like I need it, should I get one for myself? Is it really that special?

He told me she was doing her best to look for the best veining they got!

When you called I was just thinking "hey there is another Macaddict like Pinkdollface and myself who also is looking for the best swirls, not knowing it was you. girlhaha.gif

I couldn't resist the lip products any longer.

Is there anybody who bought Celestial Kiss? How do you like it?

I LOVE Celestial Kiss. I've been wearing it almost everyday since I bought it. It's a great "everyday" work shade for me, but it still has enough pigment and sparkle for me to wear when I do a smokier eye.

I'm debating on picking up Cusp of Dawn. I don't have any nude lipsticks, but I don't know if I should get this one or wait for Marilyn. 001_unsure.gif Since Cusp of Dawn is a luster, is it very drying?

Hi ladies I wanted to share some pics of my swirls! :)

L-R :Lightyear, star wonder

       Ring of saturn, solar ray

And here's center of the universe but I ended up swapping it away. It was a beautiful orangey peach with a strong gold/yellow undertone, but I felt like I had something similar. Anyway I included a picture of me wearing CotU  to show how it looks on NC20. :) Oh also on the lips I have pleasure seeker l/s (note: if u missed out on razzledazzler l/s this is extremely similar, its practically the same thing! )

I take it I should try my Venus lipstick out then. I just got it today finally. I was surprised my counter had it still. Actually they had everything still. I swatched a few of the lippies and Venus was the prettiest. I might get FS at some point too and maybe CoD. Lol, this collection!

Yes girlie, try Venus out!  I love FS as well.

This is why I don't actually like going to MAC. I always feel rushed and like I don't belong. I would have liked to hand pick my swirls but would rather avoid the uncomfortableness altogether. :/

Hmmm maybe I'll try Sheen Supreme sometime. I haven't tried it yet. But yes, I added a bunch of lip butters to my w/l :) Unfortunately my bank is broken right now from HC and other haulage. :x

I downloaded the Photobucket app, which is free, and when you add a pic you can see multiple links for sharing it. I pick the IMG code option and copy and paste it in the post and thats it smiles.gif

It just isn't practical for me to travel with them all the time since I travel so much.  I would be constantly repackaging them... too much work.

They are going in my purse for sure! I'll make sure to bubble wrap them, just in case.

I love this swirl!  My stratus has a somewhat triangular swirl as well. I like to think of them as green swirls, since they REALLY look like recycle symbols in my mind, the collection is planetary, and being green to save the world is very popular right now. Lol, yeah I'm a bit of a dork.
