I am loving Pleasureseeker. I actually got this buy accident! The MUA gave it to me instead of Cut-a-caper, and when I got home I put it on right away thinking it was CAC. Wore it for about an hour, then began swatching against some other lipsticks and that's when I noticed it wasn't CAC! icon_eek.gif Had to run out immediately and get CAC before it sold out at my local store... but I have worn PS much more, and it wasn't even on my list!

Trying so hard to resist BU's of PS, Meteoric, Light Year, and Magnetic Attraction. I never buy BU's because I am a fickle makeup person...when the next collection emerges, I jump on board with that and everything from the previous collection gets moved to the back burner. Sigh...I DON'T NEED BU'S (more to self than anyone else)!

Also wondering how Jete from By Request compares to Magnetic Attraction?

I tried Aurora today. It looks like a gross brown on me? Anyone else have Aurora. How is yours?

This is pretty much the case for me, especially with face products. Unless I've found something that is OMG HG status, I'll use it/become obsessed with it for awhile, then move on to the next great thing. I'm more likely to use a BU for lippies though, so I always consider buying those.

The only things have backups of are some LE brushes, Marquise D' l/s, Jaunty e/s, Chanel Beige Lame e/s and Rose Platine e/l.

I KNOW i'll use them up though - I've just hit pan on Beige Lame and have almost finished Marquise D'

Ah, yes! I also BU LE brushes that I like! I also BU'd the 222 once I found out it was being dc'd and picked up a few more from the CCO.

I have only swatched mine and not worn it yet, but I feel like I have to deliberately dip into the deeper pink more to get the color I want out of it.

I am wondering what your final HC haul has ended up to be....eyelove.gif
Your first haul was nearly identical to mine! I think you have only BU'd a few since, but not sure!

OT: does anybody know anything about the MAC by Request collection by any chance? I really want to know which products made the final cut...

I haven't got any back ups yet and I'm too scared to go to MAC again - those damn swirls will hypnotise me into getting more!

I ended up with all the MSFs and MBs, and Neo Nebula, Water, Aurora and Earthly MES

What did you pick up??

So far I have tried all as eyeshadows Aurora and Universal Appeal together, Solar Ray and Supernova together. I did use Neo Nebula and some Inglot shadow. I'm in love! Used Pixy Epoxy as a base for them and seriously amazed.

You are smart by not going back! My original hall was all MSF's, all MB's, five MES's, Meteoric, Celestial Kiss and Cut-A-Caper (which ended up being Pleasureseeker....so had to go back for CAC, while there got Fire Sign, Galaxy Rose, Neo Nebula).

I didn't get the two blue shadows or the silvery one, and didn't get Venus or Cusp of Dawn, or Astral and Strictly Plutonic.

I am emberassed to say I bought all that!puke.gif But now because of this thread I am worried about Venus...but am just trying to "just say no!" to the voices in my head!icon_bump.gif

Thanks! I couldn't find it. My eyes must be too tired from all that reading :P

Finally uploaded my MES pics. These were all ordered online. The swatches didn't come out right, so I have to redo them tomorrow. Hopefully it won't be so cloudy and I'll have more sunlight. After playing with Sky some more, I still don't have that "happy I bought it" feeling. I don't think I'm keeping it. Any takers?

Thanks everyone :-) xo

Wow!  You got some great ones.  Ring of Saturn is fantastic!  You can get most of the light part with a touch of the darker color.  Really pretty!  Your Universal Appeal has tons of purple (wearing that one now eyelove.gif) and your Neo Nebula is really unique!  I've never seen one like that and it has tons of pink!

I wore earthly yesterday all over lid and gilt by association lightly in crease....black line on upper lash line... I got a compliment from a male colleague....I was kind of surprised because I thought the look seemed very 'everyday'....I guess that's a good thing!
I'm giving ros another try today, though very very lightly with a 187. it's still pretty intense. metallic as you say baysaz....I'm going to wait till I get to work to give a verdict. everything's different in natural light.....

I wore that look the other day.  I'm really trying to use Gilt by Association and the other Style Black repromotes.  I've waited so long to get my hands on them just to ignore them with all these new collections coming out.  I think they all will work in some fashion or another as crease shades with most looks.

Is Pleasureseeker really the color it looks in the pics? It looks so brightly pigmented, a lovely pinky coral. I may have to go check that out.......

I hate to tell you, but back up Pleasureseeker.  I think a lustre would be easy to use up.  I'm the same way when new stuff comes out.  I have totally ignored my Naturally blushes and I loved those!

Not even in the same stratosphere!  I've always seen Jete as a neutral with a bit of a kick. Actually, I've always loved it but I had no idea it was so popular.  Magnetic Attraction is anything but neutral.  It was like a bright melon pink color on me.  Love it!

Oh, I should have backed up Beige Lame.  Love it.  I can totally understand how you hit pan.  I've been using my sparingly (unconsciously I think).  Love it.  I've never thought to back up LE brushes.  That is not to say I don't later wish I had another.  Marquise D was really popular though. I wish it had worked on me.  I can see it being repromoted.

Love your Sky! I got lots of the green gold color which I wanted but I forgot to get the lighter blue too.  You have a great mix of colors.  I haven't seen a Magnetic Attraction that I didn't like.  I think that might be my fave MES from this collection.  heart.gif

I hunted down 3 backups when they were 10% off...... I could quite happily wear it every day on it's own and I never know about Chanel and repromoting things!

Cool! I had no idea!

Thanks.

Today from the collection I only wore Ring of Saturn. Even though it has just a lovely sheen, I couldn't resist putting a light dusting of Gold Dusk pigment on the cheek for some extra sparkle. Love the combo. RoS is still my favorite blush out of the four.

I've been wanting to take a pic of all my swirls, but my Magnetic Attraction I ordered from Nordstrom still isn't here. Shipping takes SO long to get the west coast from the online site.  Grr.   If it's not here by tomorrow, im just going to go picture crazy with the rest of my little planetary collection.

So my first order arrived and I got Star Wonder and Light Year MSF, Cut a Caper l/s, Meteoric l/g and VAE. I ordered off House of Fraser and they still don't have the MES's up at! Hope they put them up soon, planning on getting Neo Nebula, Magnetic Attraction and Bright Moon.

Will post pictures of the MSF's later, pretty happy with the swirls:)

Icecarmaellatte,

I love my mes from Style Black.

SB was my absolute favorite MAC LE of all time.

VV was second.

But SB was the bomb.

I'm tickled they bought back the mes.

That was an interesting move.

Now if they will only bring back the greasepaint stick - I'll bite!

Shellcat,

You are too funny!

R U out of WB or using yours sparingly?

At one point I must have B2M 3 or 4 WB's at one time.

That is my sister's fav. msf and she always gives me her empties.

I gave her a Light Over Dark mb about a year & half ago and she has almost finished using it.

I told her I wanted the empty!

Thanks for the swatches Mami! eyelove.gif

On my lips Pleasure seeker is a soft peachy colour: not coral but peach. I love it with Celestial Kiss on top, but also on its own. I prefer it over Cut a Caper.

Today I went to the Counter againg for the fourth time to compare my Jade's Fortune with Water.

In the pan they are almost similar, except for the swirl thing, but swatched they look quite different. JF is darker and more of a blue colour, whereas Water is lighter and swatches more green. They will look great together. So I've added Water to my collection... and couldn't resist Bright Moon any longer, so that one was going home with me as well.mac_addict.gif
