Happy Birthday singer82!!!

I just ordered Earthshine MSF and cannot wait to get it. Will go get Light Year MSF at my MAC store or counter either today or this weekend.

Thanks! My Earthly swatches a taupe color, and I like it. I haven't tried it on my eyes yet, but it should be able to pair easily with a lot of different colors or work on its own.

I finally decided to go get Universal Appeal this weekend, and I'm going to hunt for one with lots of purple. I think the one I swatched in store had a lot of purple, and I liked the color it made. I also want to pick up a BU Earthshine with a lot more burgundy in it than the one I have. But I want to be able to swatch it first because I'm not sure if I would actually like the resulting color. These swirls are so pretty, but they're so fickle. I left my swirls up to chance for my first bout with mineralize makeup, but I see myself taking matters into my own hands and picking them out next year.

I got my replacement Venus today for the one I lost somewhere. Nordstrom's sent me my Venus l/s and a makeup brush in a huge box? weird.

I'm lazy, so my skincare regimen is extremely simple. I just wash my face with African black soap and a washcloth, moisturize with a mixture of natural oils that I make myself, then I use a sunscreen with SPF30 by Kiss My Face. That's it. The Clarisonic will replace my washcloth. I'm also looking into trying a derma roller that's been mentioned in this thread.

I have never bought so much from a collection, I also think I never got this excited over a collection.. I have such a weakness for mineralize products (as many of you do). I got all 4 msf's, all 4 m/b, CaC l/s, Earthly m/e! I bought them online, and I'm really happy with the swirls actually! I'm debating on whether I should buy Fire Sign/Pleasureseeker l/s.. even though I'm practically broke lol. How comparable is Fire Sign to VG Cyndi? Some bloggers say they're the same and others say that Cyndi is way more coral/warm and Fire Sign more berry.. I missed out on Cyndi so I really want something like it. And Pleasureseeker.. how pigmented/sheer is it and does it really has a silvery/frosty sheen?

I don't own VG Cyndi, so I don't have it to compare. But the general consensus from what I've seen in this thread is that they are very close. There are swatches floating around somewhere. I love Fire Sign and think it's worth getting.

So I have to say I'm VERY happy I decided to purchase supernova at the last minute. Even though I still think it looks very, very similar on my cheek to Tarte Amused since I'm fair and barely need any pigment to get something to show (amused is more pink, while supernova more magenta, darker skintones will be able to see the difference better) the finish of supernova is more up my ally. That slight sheeny finish, vs the super matte texture of Amused is more flattering on my drier skin. It also wears off better because of the texture, at the end of the day Amused looks a bit patchy, whereas supernova sort of wears off as a stain.
 

Um...I somehow did it again. I bought a Venus for a Christmas stocking stuffer for my neutral/coolish daughter. But it's been kind of haunting me, so I ended up sort of applying a touch from the side of the tube so as not to mess up the top. Looked in the mirror, added just a titch more.

I don't know what this collection did to me. I'm freaking wearing PINK lipstick and I never do that. Never. With Star Wonder (sheen AND pinky). Pink usually looks ghastly on me, but I'm kinda thinking this looks good.

There's definitely subliminal seduction afoot when I buy something pink and think it looks good on me. I'll never desert my corals and warm reds, but I'm thinking I found some pinks I can occasionally wear.

So much for the early start to my Christmas shopping! Mine.

MSF swirls.

Well I already bought all 9 MESs.  Now, I bought a backup of Invinsible Light and 2 msfs.  Light Year and Star Wonder MSFs.... I have never bought any MSFs before so I hope I like them.. How are they as eyeshadows?????????????????????????????????/ ANyone please help?????????????????????????????????

I went by to grab a BU of Venus, and just happened to wander over to look through the MES AGAIN... 

I found a BEAUTIFUL MA...it HAD to come home with me.

It's amazing how different they are! Mine looks more like your second one, but instead of being primarily pink it's orange. I have almost no yellow or pink. I'd love a yellower version, but I'm going to wait and just get Jete.

LOL - she wouldn't care. I offered to buy her a couple of lippies when we were in the US a couple of weeks ago and she asked why she'd need more than the two (2!) she has. Naturally, the SA sold her on a couple (including her first red). I think I bought Venus because I was personally drawn to the colour but didn't think I'd be able to wear it.

I'll probably buy her one of the kits from the holiday collection - she'll have more fun with that anyway.

I really think I'm gonna have to visit MAC this weekend and try out Venus. I feel like I'm missing out!

I happened to walk by a Mac store today and I had to stop in.  I didn't get anything but I did swatch Galaxy Rose and Cut a Caper.  Galaxy Rose - looked really nice.  I may get one.  Cut a Caper looked so much like the Chanel lip colors I bought this spring, I decided to pass.  I noticed the display case had everything except Earthshine and Pleasureseeker.  In fact, the display had 2 Venus.  Maybe someone was just using them or maybe they're SO.  Don't know.  The two Venus did make me think it was a sign to back it up.  I'm still on the fence as I don't feel I've played with everything enough to decide what I should backup if anything. What a dilemma!

You have restraint. 

I walked in and went nuts(AGAIN), bought a BU of Venus, ANOTHER VAE, Meteoric CSG, bought another MA and a BU of Sun Dipped bronzer.  Go figure...
