^I would go with either the 242 or the 252 brush to use with wet MES.

Thanks girl. I still want ES but am assuming its out of my league because I'm not a counter or bronzer type girl. I'm sure there will plenty of beautiful things to come (ie Marilyn). That's what I keep telling myself about buying any BUs of things that I fall for. I just feel like when am I going to run out of Highlighters and Blushes if I keep collecting them at this rate and one is just as pretty as the next!

Someone please school me on Lightscapade! Why so coveted? I might need!
Better late than never...I don't think I am near over seeing these swirls yet! I want to take all mine out and play, but hubby already thinks I am nuts! Comments all the time, "how many more makeup videos and websites can you look at?" Men!

I'd love to know too! When I went to a pro store yesterday, (I think) they were sold out of Light Year and Star Wonder so they had Lightscapade and Soft and Gentle in their places. Might have to jump on the Lightscapade train!
I agree. I just bought the 286 brush and I looove it. I'm thinking about getting another one because I can see me using this one everyday!
What is the 184 brush good for? I saw Purplrinne saying she could see if she could get some.

184 is a good brush for ur pigmented blushes or MSF's...it's a duo fibre fan brush
I hoarded Lightscapade (have 4) and its bc it's almost colorless with sheen...kinda like the JLo glow without the bronziness if that makes sense....it's what I use to perk up my face when I need it

I interupt this thread to bring you a HC service anouncement...
Not that anyone is counting or anything, but I did the math...
In 24 hours, there have been 115 HC posts (starting at 6358, and not counting this one that I am about to make)
In order to reach 10,000 and come close to that Hello Kitty thread, we need 3,527 more posts.
At the rate of 115 a day, it will take about 30 days...
So what I am sayin' here is
"Com'on people! Pick up the pace!
As you were!
I am definitely enjoying this thread, and I can see it getting to the 10,000. Now I'm just waiting to see the looks people create with this collection. OAN you guys are making me want to go and get BUs for everything and I'm fighting it so bad I haven't been to the mall since Saturday and that is super rare for me. Must... have.... restrain but Venus and Earthshine are calling me!!

Oh, thank you for the link!
I've been wanting Cantaloupe for a while, but I haven't been able to make it to my pro store. Is there anyone that's close to NC45 that has it? Could you post a swatch? PWEEEESE???
If anyone has both cantaloupe and center of the universe, could you swatch both? I wore CotU today for the first time and freaking loved it! I had a coworker tell me that I was 'glowing' today.
I just thought it gave off the same color that I'm expecting to get from cantaloupe (minus the sheen of course) and I'm wondering if there's a need to get cantaloupe now.
Richelle, you come to mind because you seem to have EVERYTHING (smile), but I'd appreciate anyone that can help!

If CotU shows up on you, Cantaloupe certainly will look gorgeous on you. It's very pigmented. Enjoy!

I'm sorry for my losing track of this thread. I'm so behind! I look forward to catching up. I just wore my SW for the first time this past weekend and it looked ahmazing! I looove it.
I tried to wear Earthly, patted did not swirl into it & it looked horrible, super muddy. Anyone else have this issue? What was the remedy?
What brush do you all prefer to use with wet MESs?
TIA.
Unfortunately, I think if you got an Earthly with lots of brown it will look muddy. But yours looks fine, try to pick up more of the shimmery gold part maybe? You should swirl them all together.
I use the 286. Everyone who uses MES a lot NEEDS this brush, it's great!
So I caved and bought another Earthly! I was looking for that cool taupe sheen that I was seeing in others' swatches, and mine was just reading too dark and warm, so I bought the lightest one I could find yesterday:
Here are the swatches (Flipped. Darker swatch is obviously for the Earthly on the right!):
My camera is making them look cooler than they are in real life. The lighter swatch is actually a bit peachier due to all the warm gold in it, and loks a heck of a lot like Coco pigment actually!
I also caved and bought Universal Appeal. When I swatched it in store and saw that plum reflection amongst the beautiful bronze I could not say no! I also have a feeling that Sky will eventually be mine.....and maybe Bright Moon too.
Aaaaaand possibly Meteoric.
MAN, I was so good at first with only 2 MES, 3 MSFs, and one lipstick.......

Oh my! I so want one now!

They both look very pretty.
Even though I try to avoid returning products, I sent my 2nd Earthly back. It was almost completely brown, and swatched very muddy and not nice at all. There was barely any gold in it, it looked really flat.

I agree with Naynadine....both are lovely!!!
And your swatches show again that you can not get "real" BUs of mineralize products...they are all much too different to call them "BU" IMO!
They may have the same name but you get two different products.

Sorry for the off topic post but for ladies of color on this thread how are you wearing Lighscapade? I have 2 but haven't really played around with it much.
Also, what does CC mean? Someone in previous posts mentioned they were wearing CC with a mineralized blush.
And I can't believe how AWESOME the Volcanic Ash is.
Why didn't I ever purchase this before????? I love it. I may back it up since it isn't perm.
