i did this a couple days ago but these are fun to read.     Scorpio - With a color vibration of jazzberry jam, those born this day are brilliant self-inventions. Never mind not feeling the world owes you a favor, you relish making your own way in it, needing no tradition or convention to follow. You're a freestylin' fool to no one exactly.

Picked up my haul from this collection and ended up with just skin care items.... Volcanic Ash Exfoliate and Water Charged Moisturizer. I needed a change in my skin care routine after a terrible breakout and I was really impressed with the products that I sampled. I have never really used Mac Skincare line before or thought of sampling it... so looking forward to my super soft skin tomorrow!

My thoughts exactly.....so many pretty face products and only 2 cheeks!!!

I could put on make-up several times a day and create new FOTDs because I love all my goodies so much!

In order to get the most use out of them, HC stuff are the only cheek products that I packed to go home from uni this summer :)

I love everything in this damn collection, even the stuff I didn't get!

Thinking of grabbing a Magnetic Attraction with a ton of burgundy tomorrow, how are people liking it?

Sky is soooooooo stunning eyelove.gif

I think that it is my favorite MES from this collection together with Bright Moon and Neo Nebula.

Surprisingly I really like Earthly too!At frist I did not pay much attention to it but I got a pretty one with a lot of beige/grey and only a little gold.

Together with a bit of dark brown it is such a lovely color.

What items do you love that nobody seems to talk about?

My #1 has got to be Fire Sign. It's one of the best MLBB colors MAC's put out the whole year (at least for someone like me, with very red lips to begin with). Sure, Venus is gorgeous, but it looks pink on me, not MLBB. If someone told me I could only use one lipstick for the rest of the year, I'd pick Fire Sign, because it can go from almost looking like you only swiped a touch of lip balm on, to a beautiful, evening-worthy, glamour color. If you have naturally red lips and especially if you're at the age where pink lips always look a bit "young" and "cute", rather than just natural.

#2 would have been Invincible Light, but fortunately it looks like people are starting to discover how great it is - in a year with a ton of neutral, glistening highlight colors, the only one that works better for me is Nebula pigment, and IL is better than Nebula right now, since I've gotten quite tanned this summer.

Instead #2 goes to Sky! Such a rich, bright color. It takes almost zero work to get it looking as nice as it does in the pan and it's very long lasting. I've gone out dancing with just a paint pot underneath and a little Fix+ on top and had no fading or streaking. Plus blue isn't always a good color for my green eyes/skin tone and yet every combination of the cobalt, turquoise and shimmer looks great on me. This happened last year with Semi-Precious, too - I usually can't wear dark green, but the dark green from that collection works great...one of the few that does. All I can guess is that the mineral pigments reflect light from your skin in a special way that helps make the colors more flattering for more people.

#3 is Galaxy Rose - it's so sexy. Definitely the sexiest lip color from this collection. I love it on its own or on top of Fire Sign, which creates this amazing, sultry strawberry color. Love it - I'm trying not to back it up, lol.

Hahaha - a sign that MAC puts out too many collections with similar names. There! Fixed it for ya!

It's like a sexy summer version of Narcissus, or a much more subdued Color Saturation. I love it. The only CSG I didn't get was Celestial Kiss, and only because I've got a backup of Private Screening from Reel Sexy, which is my HG peach/nude gloss. Lol, probably will still wind up with CK too. I'm a nut for CSGs and I love the subtle shimmer in CK. I'm also a big fan of Strictly Plutonic, but someone posted some comparison swatches and it's somewhat similar to a perm CSG - enough so that it didn't make my top 3 under-appreciated HC products.

You can really get that green gold to show up if you apply Sky dry with a blending brush like a 217 - try it over a paint pot like Let's Skate!

You can really fine tune the color in Sky based on the base you use - another nice feature of this MB. I've also tried it over Half-Wild for a brilliant navy, over Pure Creation to really bring out the turquoise and over Imaginary, which made it really sexy/smokey.

You may be referring to the comparison swatch I posted of Strictly Plutonic. I find it very close to Over Indulgence CSG.

I didn't think to try different base colors under Sky. I was disappointed with the way my Sky swatched. It's very dull and matte looking. I'll play with it some more using different bases to see if I get better results. I may end up keeping it if I like the effect.

Gemini is ruled by Mercury, named for the aerial messenger god who, like you, gets off messing with minds. Flight symbolizes divinity and you're touched by it. Omniscient and omnipresent, you're a raging infomaniac, electrifying any scene. Your words have wings, inspiring frenemies to great heights or reducing them to rubble. Like a bird of paradise, you crave shimmery adornments that catch the eye.

My B-day: June 14

You're yellow, but you're no coward. Like a canary in a coalmine, you'll feel out scenes before investing fully—unlike one, you escape deadening situations. Others look to you for guidance. Arresting, provocative and challenging, you're not just another happy face.

Sounds somewhat familiar...

I wore Bright Moon MES for the first time yesterday. I literally had 5 minutes before I had to leave so I decided to go as basic as I could with it. It is gorgeous! I applied it with a 224 over Nubile pp and it gives such a sheen. And I paired it with Heirloom eyeliner on the lower lash line. I can't wait to play with it more and layer it over stronger bases. Think I'm going to get a lot of wear out of it!

Too funny! I had to look at it a few times as well.  I was looking for shade recommendations and volcanic ash and mascara - as Richelle said - lame!

I have to try this combo!Heirloom should really be nice together with Bright Moon.

I'd love a pigment or shadow in that color alone.

I agree with Liba about Galaxy Rose! Its SO gorgeous on. I too am trying not to back it up.

I just realised that I haven't tried Heirloom to date. It's still sitting there... hmm.gif Perhaps a no-buy would be good so that I can start trying all the goods I accumulated this year...

I love that everyone is getting into their horoscopes, but felt slightly compelled (its a Virgo trait--my rising sign) to point out that our physical appearance is actually more governed (so to speak, if you believe into astrology at all, and I am not saying that you should, but it certainly is interesting how often these so called coincidences work out) by our rising sign.  So, if you buy into that, you might be better served chosing colors that align with your rising sign.  Sure, the sun sign affects your basic personality and choices and I know must of us are doing that horoscope thang just for fun, but I am pointing out that the colors I find work well for me and I am drawn to most often for make up are the earthy colors associated with Virgo (my rising sign or ascendant).  Which leads to my favorites from the collection being Aurora MES, Earthy MES and Earthshine MSF.  All variations on shades of brown LOL.

Coincidence?  Or do the stars REALLY compel????

I went past my local MAC counter today and couldn't resist....

They were sold out of Sky and Venus though :'(

I got Magnetic Attraction, the last Bright Moon, and a backup of Neo Nebula that is not at ALL swirly, but has lots and lots of pink like I wanted :D

Pics to follow shortly!
