Like it? NO WAY... I LOVE it! It's so cool how 1 of these shadows can be used to create a complete look without too much extra help! Thanks for giving us another BEAUTIFUL example of that!

I had posted a FOTD using UA. If you look at my pics in my profile, they are in there. Don't want to bother everyone with them again. I wasn't crazy about Aurora the first time I used it, so I'll have to play around with that one some more. Neo Nebula is next on my list to try...

Thank you, it looked very nice and effortless wash of color. Nice for everyday. Can't wait to see pictures of the other ones.

I promised to share my pro haul so here is a picture of my pro blush palette.
Rhubarb, Azalea (I already had this), Devil
Salsarose, Apple Red, Burnt Pepper
I also got refills of Bright Sunshine, Bio Green and Kelly and I got water based mixing medium.
These pro blushes are so pigmented I love them!
About the colours I didn't get. Flame Red is really similar to Apple Red, but Apple Red is a bit brighter and cooler, so I didn't get Flame Red. I also swatched Full Fuchsia next to Azalea and again Azalea was a bit brighter and cooler, so I didn't want Full Fuchsia. Cantaloupe didn't do as much for me as these, but it is pretty. I might get it another time. I also skipped Taupe and Clove, because I wasn't looking for contour colours.
Sorry this is offtopic, but I thought I should post this here since it was asked in this thread.
Hi Pinkdollface,
Would it be possible for u to do some swatches of these PRO blushes? Curious as to what these look like on fair skin.
Also, how do you use the water based mixing medium???
TIA! S
I've tried patting, swirling, shaving, fix +, regular water, dry, TFGG, PPs, etc.
What a loss. Still undecided about LY + CoU + SR.
I really love SW & Galaxy Rose.

So, I tried wearing Earthly again yesterday & it was a complete & total failure. I literally Thad to cover it up with 3 other colors. I'm so disappointed because this is the one I really wanted to work, it just looks all muddy & ugly on me. I'm so disappointed & I haven't tried my NN or Auorora because I don't want to be let down. I think that I'm going to return them all & just figure that MESs are not for me & move on.

I saw it didn't work out for you, Earthly is the only MES I have and I love it. Maybe you should try NN or Aurora? I know that certain shades work for some people and certain shades work for others. If you do plan on returning it back to the store, you might as well try them since it'll be destroyed regardless. OR, you can try swapping it out w/ someone here or on MUA for something else you might want?

I agree with OhSoJaded, do give them a try or try to swap them. Sorry that Earthly didn't work out for you. :(
I'm getting a sample of that Pixie Epoxy stuff, I heard MES work great with that, maybe you could try that as well if you haven't yet and if you're determined to make Earthly work.

Spanky, if you're like me, (and I get the feeling you are from your Earthshine situation), Earthly just doesn't work either. Too muddy and cool looking. MEANWHILE, Aurora looks awesome and is one of the limited number of MES I got from this collection. MES are definitely more dependent on your skin tone and the skin coloring around the eyes than standard shadow.
Considering they just get thrown out if you return them, you might as well test them out first.
Also, I'd encourage you to swap or sell them here - plenty of folks would love Earthly....

Here is my FOTD. I used Aurora on my lids, Wedge in the crease, Brown Down in the outer V and underneath the eyes and Blanc Type to highlight. For a blush I have on Salsarose and Lightscapade to highlight. On my lips I have Cherry lipliner with Chanel Dragon.
Spanky definitely try Aurora! It's beautiful and a warm brown, so I think you'll like it better than Earthly.
I used the water based mixing medium with Aurora and then another layer of Aurora dry. I picked up Aurora with my brush and then put a couple of drops of the mixing medium on the brush. I didn't mix it in before applying it on my lid, but it still worked amazing. I have used homemade mixing medium in the past (glycerine and water), but I like the mixing medium from mac a lot better. The homemade mixing medium does irritate a bit after application and the mac one doesn't. Spanky you can use it several ways. Like I did just putting some drops on the brush or using a mixing plate and put a pigment and the mixing medium on it and then mix it in.
I don't think opague swatches of the blushes will show the effect they have and my camera doesn't pick up blended out swatches too well. I hope you can see Salsarose in the picture. It's beautiful and gives a rosy flush to the cheeks when applied with a light hand.

I know my lighting sucks! We live in a log home and lighting is always an issue! I feel like I can never see, and I just had my eyes checked last year...better than 20/20!
My look today...keeping it simple..Neo Nebula on eyes, Galaxy Rose on lips, Star Wonder & Super Nova on cheeks.
At least the poor lighting conceals some of my wrinkles!

I know. I was clearing out some older make up. It was far from finished and it hadn't gone bad. Just too enthusiastic cleaning out my stash. I am really angry at myself right now....![]()

I caved and ended up buying Stratus. I had gone into nordstrom last week and just for the hell of it had the mua try this on me and that was my mistake lol. I didnt buy it that day but ever since then ive been tossing and turning thinking about this blush and how it surpassed my favorite mac blush Darkly My Dear from the Venomous Villains collection. I went to the store yesterday and they had one left. Phew!. Now I can sleep in peace. I will post swatches on my arm and cheeks later. This color is so effortless on me. Im nc44/nars sheer matte tahoe
