Sorry to hear that! I never back anything up, but I forgot my makeup bag on my vanity on Monday. I had a couple of important meetings and there was no way I wasn't going to touch up at least lipstick during the day. I was originally wearing Fire Sign but tried on both Ladybug and Cockney at MAC. Both were nice, but the MUAs both enabled me to get another Fire Sign instead because it's a good colour for me and LE and because I'll go through a lustre more quickly than a satin or matte. So I have my first backup. Only by accident. Sorta.

I completely understand i did the same thing with my Venus. I tore my house apart looking for it. I ordered another one when I lost it even though I had a back up. I figured if i ever found the one i lost the third venus would be used as a gift. I still havent found it.

LOVE the greens! And the blush - it looks so dark in the pan I never would have predicted this is what it would look like.
I work in a conservative office and can't get away with bright eyes like this, but I love the look. :)

I did my first look using Heavenly Creature items yesterday. I used Neo Nebula MES on the lid. Magnetic Attraction MES in the crease. The gold from Star Wonder MSF as a brow bone highlight and in the inner tear duct. I also used Midnight Snack fluideline for the first time and I'm going to find a BU. For my cheeks, I used Mandarin Red La Femme blush with Star Wonder MSF as a highlight. I used Venus on my lips outlined with Magenta l/p. It was so pretty. I felt sparkly. I was in a rush, so I didn't even use my NARS Smudge Proof primer or a NYX Jumbo Pencil as a base. I put the MES on my bare lid and the colors were still very visible. I wasn't able to take a picture. I think I'm going to recreate the look this weekend. If I get over my nerves, I may post a pic.
Pinkdollface, that's a beautiful green look. I'm finding that I'm often drawn to green eye shadow as well, which surprises me since green in general is a color I typically don't choose. Lol, except in the case of money. That's a green I need more of. I kept thinking yesterday how I wish I had a green MES when I was doing my makeup. Then I remembered Water which I originally skipped. Maybe I need to revisit that shade again.
OhSoJaded, that's away to turn lemons into lemon aid. I'm also thinking about going back for Light Year. This collection needs to sell out already.

I've tried wearing Earthshine twice. It's an ugly muddy mess on me. I'm trying to see the appeal for the pale girls but I think this will go on a blog sale soon. :(
I didn't think I wanted any e/s but I ended up getting Earthly & Aurora last night. I love them!!! I'm so glad I went to look at the e/s.

@OhSoJaded... Sorry about your Earthly!! But, yes, I agree it's a sign you NEED Light Year! You won;t be disappointed! It was the only MSF I was going to skip... Then after I tried it, it became the ONLY MSF I BU'd as well!! It's THAT good! ENJOY!
@pinkdollface.... Love love love that green look! Those PRO shadows are awesome to work with! I have used Bottle Green a TON!! And Devil looks DIVINE on you! You demonstrated PERFECTLY how an Uber Pigmented blush can be made very wearable!! Bravo!!

I used Earthshine as a contour today and a little bit goes a long way! I'll post a pic later when I'm at my computer! I bought a ELF bronzer brush from Target for $1 and used that for application right under the cheekbone, then buffed it out.

I don't know if I'm NC/NW50 or not, but I do have a deeper complexion. I didn't get ash when I swatched it. Instead, I got a very pretty gold sheen. The pink color didn't show up at all. I passed on it because I plan to get other highlighters like NARS Albatross, but I think I am going to end up getting anyway.

What I have realized about the HC ES's that I love is the fact that I can wear colors that I normally wouldn't wear because they can be worn so sheer. I will do bolder eye looks in the fall, but for summer and most work days the HC ES is perfect! They are a nice balance for looking made up with some color, without looking too made up...
Tomorrow I might try Temptalia's look with some of the Hey Sailor eyeshadows...I haven't even worn the blue or green ones yet, and I am starting to feel guilty about it!

I know you'd like to see more MSFs but I'm hoping we will get a break from them. I'm trying to pack for a weekend trip (driving) and I can't decide which MSF(s) to take. I'm going through my stash and I didn't realize I had so many. In fact, I saw the Glitter & Ice beauty powders and I completely forgot I bought them. Yikes!
Trying to pick a blush is hard too. I got a blemish on the area next to my eye a few days ago and my whole eye swelled up. Not a good look. So I haven't worn any eye makeup for a few days. Needless to say, I haven't been able to play with my new goodies. It has cleared up so tonight I must start packing and deciding what makeup to take. I made the mistake of putting on Stratus blush. I haven't really worn this yet. Thought it would be best for fall. I did try it with a fall EL GWP lipstick I got and it looked great together but I thought Stratus gave me a sunkissed look. Love it. But now I wonder if I need to back this one up. I really need to be done with this collection.

To those fair skin gals worried about Earthshine, it is workable with a very, very light hand (even less than a MB goes a long way!)
Hopefully the difference can be seen with the difference in lighting, and with the iphone pics! Today was much warmer so my skin got red and splotchy lol, hence the discoloration below my chin, eek.
Anyway, these are two pics taken on different days, the first one is without a contour, the second one is with a contour just under the cheekbones, near my ear.
Earthshine is so subtle but in a good way. I like Earthshine because it doesn't get orange like some bronzers can get on me, and it buffed out really well. While the $1 ELF brush I bought isn't the best brush by any means, it did a pretty good job of only picking up a small amount of product.. I patted Earthshine on, then buffed it out the lines with smidge of translucent powder on a kabuki brush.

Is that a Starbucks apron I see? I worked there for 3 1/2 years! Maybe I'm wrong, but just wondering.
Earthshine looks great on you!

Thank you! :) It sure is! I've been there four years. I've been looking for another job for two years, but eh, paying off my Bachelor's loans ain't so bad, plus my tip dollars go to MAC!
It has been around ten years since I worked there, but to this day I always refer anyone who is job hunting there...you can't beat the benefits, pay, and I loved those early morning shifts 5:30a -2p rocked (until it was like 9:00pm and all my friends were going out
). I was a store manager and loved working the bar the most! All in all, I did 7 years of coffee slinging...worked at a ma & pa owned place, too.Good luck on your job search!

You're making me want Earthshine!! Just wondering, in the first pic did you pick up mostly burgundy on your brush? Looks gorgeous on you.

Thank you :) I didn't use a contour in the first pic, I just did blush and MSF. I can't remember specifically which ones they were, but I think It was Fleet Fast with Light Year MSF on top.
The second pic has Pink Cult blush, Whisper of Gilt and Earthshine as a contour under the cheeks. I did a quick swipe of the brush across Earthshine, so there was quite a bit of burgundy!
