They were giving away MES as prizes at a bridal shower? How do I get invited to parties like that?!?!
Technically, you are still done with HC since you didn't spend any money on your new goodie

I also got a backup for my Stratus since my sister decided to take my original backup oh and I wanted to share my new pride and joy I know its not MAC but I love it so much I had to take a pic of it accompanied by my beautiful swirls!!

That is very pretty....I have used my NNs more as a blush than an eyeshadow!!!
Many MES are great as blushes or even highlighters.Fresh Ice (applied lightly) is a nice cheek highlight for my pale skin.
And I really loooove Daylight as a blush
I have one with a lot of lavender and one with a lot of peach....so I have a lavender and a
peach blush LOL I have also tried Hold that Pose....and that works too!I can imagine that Snow Season might work on deeper complexion.

Waiting for LY to arrive gives me something to do. I can hang around downstairs for a while until mail comes then crawl back up.
I'm loving all the swirl loveliness. Keep them coming!
I looked @ HC e/s AGAIN! @ MAC & Nordies and decided to stick with MA.
Looking at the photos, some of my mes aren't getting enough love.
My beauties:
Golden Gaze, Gilt by Association, She Who Dares, Sea & Sky, Young Punk, My Dark Magic, Eccentricity, Play on Plums, Fresh Green Mix, Natural Flare, Smoked Ruby and Magnetic Attraction.
Your MES collection looks a lot more used than mine. I have that gold pinwheel MES and I have hardly used it.
MES for shower gifts! What a fantastic gift. Great idea.

i know it's not a MEs, but i use to use amber lights as a blush back when i didn't own any....it gave a very nice glow to my cheeks. i guess maybe it fell somewhere between a blush and a highlighter...

:( I lost my makeup bag that I keep in my purse yesterday (only just realised it) and it had my LY and FS in it. Ugh I really don't want to buy new ones, especially as LY is sold out on the site so I'd have to hope for the best with my counter...I have probably left it at work though, in which case I can pick it up tomorrow. I was telling myself I should stop keeping LY in my bag anyway as it's so fragile, this must be a sign that I was right!

Oh no!!! I hope you find it. Light Year is my favorite.
I had a scary moment today. I have my makeup stored on a book shelf, and light year was tucked away in a little padded makeup bag. However, I didn't notice the bag was open, and when I went to put something else away, accidently bumped the bag, and Light Year fell out onto my hard wood floor from the second shelf. It happened so quickly I couldn't believe it, my face went
. It fell face down and I immediately scooped it up, prepared for the worst possible scenario, and IT WAS FINE! I think it must have been safe because it fell down face first, and the top of the compact took the brunt of the fall. I NEVER drop makeup. I must have been worrying over dropping it so much, I subconsciously made myself do it, to get over the terror of it. lol.

Depends ho w much trouble you have with mineral products in general. I think if you wear MES without problems, wearing the MSF as an e/s would be fine--I have gotten away with it. Overall, I have to limit my eye "exposure" to the MES in general because there is tiny, microscopic fall out unless you foil them and then my eyes get red and itchy. So, sadly, I have to only use them a few times a week. But that *forces* me to give love to the non-MES e/s, so they need love too. It is hard because all of these are so lovely, I want to wear them everyday. I still have not used Sky, Neonebula, or Universal Appeal yet.
Wha' happened?????

Maybe yours has a lot of burgundy and that makes it darker/muddier?- Corally

I'm one of the ppl who got a lot of the burgundy color, and even on my arms it looked like a bruise. I have the dark brown hyperpigmentation scars, and on my face, I just felt like it accentuated them. Nothing major.

I am sort of feeling the eyeshadows will be unique and the MSF will be something similar. If these electric cool are like the Loreal product though, I will get tired of them.
On an unrelated note (but back OT) I am starting to think CoTU is going to be too warm for me to enjoy. Any other pale girls feeling its too, I don't know, Oompa loompa territory? I can sheer it out and add pink over it to get it toned down, or use as the world's most ginormous eyeshadow. Anyone have any tips to make me love it more? Its so gorgeous in the pan but its scarey orange on my cheeks.

Here is my look of the day. I used the lightest shade in LY on the lid, darkest pink in SW on the crease, and the burgundy in Earthshine in the outer v. LY was my favorite. All were applied wet. On the bottom, lash line I put a purple from Mac ( Spring colour forecast quad). On the cheeks, I used MA eyeshadow. It also works well tried to pick up more of the yellow. Overall, I liked the look but I have to admit I like the look I did with Earthshine a little better lol. Enjoy girls.

I think this just enabled me to BU MA since it is GORGEOUS on you as a blush!! The whole FOTD is just amazing! Great job... AGAIN!!
I'm glad you girls liked. What I really liked about using the MSF's as Eye shadows is that they have no fallout at all. Regular ME do. My swirls didn't get ruined because of this.I definitely recommend that you guys try at least LY as an ES you wont be disappointed. It doesn't need a lot of work. As for MA, it looks like a color you can wear everyday on the cheeks too. Thank you!
