it's funny, I actually like that mine has a lot of gold in it because I am so pale. Shows how versatile these babies are!

Me too....too much orange can be "dangerous" for me LOL

But the gold gives me such a beautiful sheen....I love it!

The gold gives a beautiful sheen indeed but I'm combo/oily so more gold is a no no on my skin! But I can work around so it so I don't pick up too much of the gold on my brush.

Aww. My SW, EW, and CoU all have small cracks in them. I just try to ignore and be extra careful to not drop them.

Many at the counters had cracks and my MSFN's all developed small ones with use. It is a MSF thing.

I think my backup and your back up were cut from the same Light Year roll

I was disappointed about the small swirl, but it actually shows up the same color on my cheek as my other one, just the TINIEST bit lighter peach. I switched to using this one because I liked the swirl on my other one better, and wanted to keep that one as intact for as long as possible LOL.

What a pretty "LY family" 

I think that your last BU is my favorite because it has only a very little gold.

Oh good! I'm glad it's relatively the same product. They do look very similar! Did you order it during the last restock and get it last week also?

I LOVE Light Year! Maybe more than Lightscapade and Crew (but don't tell them that lol). I do use Lightscapade daily, and Crew is just so versatile with its different colors, but I love the glow that Light Year gives my cheeks, so I didn't ever want to run out of it! I hate that MAC changed how much product is in the MSFs from 10g to 7g for the Heavenly Creature ones, so I talked myself into a 3rd BU.

I love the different swirls I got, but I was like ohh noo, the last LY doesn't have much variety. I still think it will work out just fine though!

Yeah I just ordered it two weeks ago, I think it was. I panicked lol. I never BU anything, but light year is so special.

Did you order these off maccosmetics before they sold out? I wanna order a bu but they're all sold out on there.

I could be wrong but it looks like LY is still avail @ Nordstrom's online. You may want to give them a try.

So I've been trying to avoid this thread like the plague after my last Heavenly Creature haul. I didn't want to be tempted to get more. I was thinking out of sight, out of mind. FAIL!

I went swirl hunting for my BU Earthshine and I finally decided to cave and get Light Year too. But they were sold out everywhere I went. So I'm just going to add an Earthshine to my cart when I get the By Request shadows, along with Cut Loose lipglass. I hope it will be rich in burgundy swirls like some of the pics I've seen on here.   I'll just order Light Year from Nordstrom. I did manage to pick up Invincible Light MES in my weakness.

Sadly, I'm still tempted to get Water and Aurora. They're the only 2 MES I didn't get. I'm even more tempted to get a Center of the Universe BU.
