Got a question for those who hauled lippies from HC. Does anyone's Venus or fire sign have white spots when hit w the light just right? U have to look for it unless u shine a light directly on it. I'm hoping it's nothing bad but it worries and upsets me. I love my lippies.

Mine are just fine - I just checked them. I wonder what could be causing that...

I'm wondering if it's b/c of sweating. I didn't have a/c when I first got them and it was really humid then too. You have to look at them a certain way otherwise you don't really notice it at all. I cleaned them to be sure and will see if it happens again. No weird smells or tastes tho.

Mine are fine too.  Nothing out of the ordinary on them.

I just looked at my Venus and Fire Sign and they're fine. I also live in So Cal and don't have A/C atm, so I guess i'm lucky!

When I bought my FS I had noticed it some after I got it home. It was only really obvious in certain light. Looking at it straight on you didn't really notice it. Weird. Makes me worried for some reason tho as I love my lippies.

Oh and to add I noticed it evenly on the bullet not just in certain spots or anything. On FS where there wasn't as much shimmer in one spot it wasn't there so I wonder if it's just the weather and the ingredients of these lippies. Now I am all OCD worrying about my lippies lol. There just lippies but they make me happy and with stress lately I need a break from being worried but now even my fun things are worrying me. I hope I am just overreacting lol. I did clean them off to make myself feel better. They don't look as pretty but are fine now and don't smell bad or anything. I wonder if it's just a lustre thing. I guess I will stay with the drier lippies from now on just to be safe.

Was it embedded in the product or on the outside?  I definitely get products with tiny drops of condensation on it, but I have never seen white patches or spots.  I would return it, as this would be a legitimate reason to ask for an exchange.  Of course if it is sold out, and that was the only one you had, and the color was soemthing you really loved, then I guess I would do the same thing, sterilize it as best I could and use it.  Or, explore dupes and get your money back.

Hard to say actually. Completely evenly dispersed like it was part of the finish. Couldn't see it from a normal distance but if looked at closely with a bright light you'd notice it. Otherwise it could be overlooked if not noticed. Strange. I am gonna stick to buying the drier formulas from now on as I have enough stress to deal with.

Wow, stay cool this week - we're in for another heat wave angry.gif

The worst thing that ever happened to my makeup in a hot house was my Candy Yum Yum got melty and lost its matte finish holysheep.gif I had to rub off the melty layer and put it in the fridge for an hour. It's ok now, but I was concerned there!

Sorry to butt in but I'm so not happy it's gonna get hot. Like really pissed unhappy. We have no a/c except for my room and it really sucks. My birthday is during this heat wave and I am very upset about that. Sorry had to vent but I am entirely done done done with stupid f'ing summer.

me too - the heat was really challenging for me this year, and that's even with full a/c. 'wasn't even the hottest summer overall. I'm counting the days when it goes full fall at last.... rants.gif

If you're worried about your lippies, for instance, why not put them in the fridge?

I have mine in one of the old plastic MAC bags.

This Summer I lost two of my girls to the heat wave, Creme Cup and Pretty Please.  I don't understand why, though.  Not even my Lancome and Benefit lipsticks, which are A LOT more...creamy melted like those two.  I wasn't even pissed or anything.  I just laughed at my shock.

I washed and dried a Creme Cup. That sucked!!!! Try the fride or anywhere that stays cooler in the house.

Lol, that had to really suck. How bad was the mess? I hope you didn't lose any clothes in the process.

Did you try de-tubing them and putting them into pots? That really sucks tho. I hate the heat for more than just my lippies of course. I'm one of those doesn't feel good when hot types.

I found the perfect brush for applying the Skinfinishes,  For me, the Earthshine was a bit too dark, but I love it.  I found the new Sephora Pro Brush #65, the Pro Fan Eventail is perfect.  It is a heavy fan brush,  I have never seen one this heavy, and I'm thrilled with mine. cheerleader.gif

Beautiful look Glamqueen21. I almost slept on Aurora eyeshadow then decided to try it at the Marilyn event in Adventura Mall last Tuesday night. I now am the proud owner of not one, not two but four Auroras. Perfect neutral for me!!!! Most counters still have a few of each eyeshadow left plus they are all available online (I like to handpick my perfect swirl). A Macy's MUA told me yesterday that even if the testers are gone for some items they may still have them in stock which was the case as their loyal Mac fans know the items they want by name.

Looks awesome on you, I wear earthshine on its own on a weekly basis, the one I have not touched yet is solar ray blush I'm a little scared of it :-/

I love, love, love Firesign.  It is a great blue toned (pinkis) red and not to in YO face when I want a less dramatic red.  I love how I can layer it to adjust the drama.
