scotchguard?  that is a valid point, I am still regretting that something leaked on my Wonder woman bag and it is less than pristine now.  I knew I should have scotch guarded that puppy.

Does anyone know what the sizes of the eyeshadows on the smokey eye kits are?  ie would I be able to depot them somehow and put them into a mac palette?  I don't have a big mac collection and I think those kits would be a good way to get some products but I don't want the huge palette...

I looked at them for a minute last week, and from what I recall, the shadows are the normal size.

Shoot...the Electric Cool shadows aren't online yet for the sale. Only the brush rolls and eye/lip bags.  :(

I figured as much. That's too bad because I think the design is really cute.  Why do they always do stuff in white canvas?  Black canvas is more practical.  It must cost much more.

I went to pre-sale @ Nordies today and have a few thoughts.

The lip bags are nice.

It seems that the stores in my area did not get alot of the red lip bags. My favorite counter got 9 for the entire sale. I bought one and I love it. If you want this one and can pre-sale, I would advise not to wait.

They all have the Creme stick liners in them which I love. The only one I did not have is the red one.

The dazzleglass in the pink bag is GORGEOUS! I wish it was sold on it's own. They seem to have alot of the pink and nude bags.

The e/s kits are nice. The purple kit is gorgeous esp. the mid tone shadow. I have the liner that comes with it (Purple Dash) as well as full size versions of the brushes in it. Given that and that I have about every purple shadow known to man, this was an easy skip for me.

Electric Cool shadows were NOT out and I was told today that Nordie's would not have these until 7/19. Not sure how accurate this info is.

Overall I am very disappointed with the Anniversary Beauty offerings this year (not just MAC). There are fewer and they just aren't very exciting.

That got me and the cool colors. I use my SE brushes when we go to ABQ and stuff and I would rather pack them in a roll than a bag. I think it is a great idea and I can't wait to get mine.

Just wanted to add that I dislike the eye kits being as big as a UD palette but with only 3 shadows and then other stuff, I wish that these had been a bag.

Just got back from Nordies...I was so happy I was able to make it there, as things have not been going well on my end.

I was not at all impressed with the lip sets...total pass on the red (and pink). Me passing on a red lippie is major, something has got to be wrong. I was disappointed because I really like Dazzleglasses but only have 2. The eye palettes were nice, but I have all but Carbon & the purple based palette just wasn't worth me swatching, as I have a lot of purples & don't reach for them often...

I thought that the Illustrated ESs were the Electric Cool ones, but they are not. I know Baghadad81 said that you were all about the ESs if they were the Electric Cool but if not you were going to skip. If you are curious about Electric Cool Shadows, I just posted pictures in the Electric Cool thread.

I saw the color story on Temptalia and I neeed that dandelion flower bag in my life! I suppose that's available at MAC starting August 19th, so I can wait!

The other stuff in this collection isn't grabbing me. I like Dazzleglass cremes, but I'm not a fan of the bags at all. If they were the dandelion bags I would reconsider! I had early access to the Anniversary Sale and all I got was the NARS Joie de Vivre palette (like I need more blush but it's a slammin' deal!) 

Went to Nordies to pick out another Earthshine(found a divine one!!) and the SA showed me the eyeshadow kit, crap WHY oh WHY!! She said that the shadows can pop out and you can add refills to it. Really did not need to hear that! The mirror on that thing is HUGE! I'm getting one. 

I am going to ignore Richelle. LOL  I plan on skipping this.

I was just in Nordies and they didn't have anything from this collection. Didn't see anything on Friday either but didn't seriously look. Looks like mine didn't get it? I'm too broke from HC anyways but still it's weird.

DId you ask to look at the early access stuff? That's where a couple of the Nordies in my area had them. A few of them also had them hidden behind the counter as well.

Lame as I am not a Nordies cardholder. Will they be released to non cardholders? Good thing I wasn't too excited. My credit can't handle another card right now.

I hear ya! But the good thing is the collection will be released in Mac stores next month.  So you have a month to recover.

EDIT - Ooopsie I think I made a mistake.  Are we talking about the Electric Cool shadows or the bags and kits.  I'm so confused with these 2 threads.  The Electric Cool shadows will be at the Mac stores next month.

I know the feeling!! On Friday as Purplerinne said they will be available to everyone. I keep looking on Nordies site to see if they will release it earlier, but nothing yet!
