MAC Illustrated discussion - Page 12

I saw this collection over the weekend. I was interested in the red and pink bags. I don't know. I swatched the lipsticks but didn't get that urge to buy them. The makeup bag is also a lot smaller than I expected. It's about the size of a wallet. I thought it would be bigger. I can't think of what colors are similar off the top of my head. I would need to see them again, but the red is a bright red.

I don't think they'll sell out that fast. You can also order online and chose to pick it up in store, that's free. They'll keep the package for 14 days and if you haven't picked it up by then they'll send it back. So if you order after a couple of days you could pick it up when you have your student OV. I love my student OV (free trips to amsterdam!).

She heard that the bags will be sold at a couple of places, but she doesn't have a confirmation yet so I can't be sure. I think august is indeed for europe.

Anyone been able to get the electric eyeshadows from Nordies?  I think I want to order a few with some of the bags.  If I did not already have a dozen SH brushes I would get the rainbow brush roll and set, but I think I will get one of the graphic pattern ones like the Nikki Farquharson one...

I think I want to get a brush roll. I bought the peach bag and I LOVE it. I ididn't think Ravishing would look good on my skin tone but it does. I think I might have to SCOTCH Gaurd the lip bag before I use it though.

The brush roll is the same material and I am thinking of doing that too!

I got the red lip and both brush sets...mostly for the packaging..I also got the plum smoking eye kit....in love with everything so far..

Unlike many value sets, these ones do give a significant discount on a bunch of products and you get a cute bag too, so its a good deal.  But only if you really will use all the products and they are not all dupes for something else you have I would say.  Okay, am I enabling or anti-enabling here...

I was going to go check out Nordstroms to see if they have some e/s that I want and if they do then one of these bags could end up in my cart.  Sometimes I let fate decide.

I ordered the red bag - as if I have not bought half a dozen red lippies this summer already!
