Mac Pro Palettes discussion - Page 7

How many eye shadows and blushes do you usually fit in yours? 

Does anyone know yet if the regular 15-eyeshadow palettes will be discontinued?

I have only used mine for es...and I want to say about 27 of the reg. MAC sized

i tried with an eyeshadow once (mineralized) n it just crumbled :(

I am looking forward to seeing photos of these because I am still slightly confused. For the pro store only items i am picturing palettes like the z palettes which allow you to put any size of pan in but you can use both sides of the palettes and they open like a book. If you want your palettes to look more like traditional palettes then you buy the inserts seperately (12 pan insert for each side of the palette)- is this what they are going to be like and if so then what are the new palettes that are going to be available in standard mac stores are going to be like?

I went through that as well when i travelled to melbourne, I packed my makeup bag and it went through the scanner and the thought i had a knife because of my spatula... they pulled my whole case apart on the other side of the counter!!! I was having a FIT watching them yelling at them to be careful with my kit. 

 

 

 

 

I really like the sound of these even tho all of my shadows are OCD Mac Cases... would almost feel like a colour story every time u open your palette and flip the insert... I think I could go with these to start my next round of depotted shadow palettes

Oh wow, I wish I hadn't read this thread the suspense is killing me now. I would love the option to hold more than 15 without taking out the insert.  I'm not crazy about z palettes though.  They just look unorganized to me.

I hope the release is not as slow as it was for the brush canisters last year. Oh well...

I just spoke with someone on chat and she said that they were only going to release the PRO lip palettes?? & that they would be coming out in August...

 

Oh dear. I sensed there would be a delay. Let's hope the MAC Live Chat person is wrong (wouldn't be the first time).

So dissapointed that they still aren't up yet... haha

 

MAC is really bad (inconsistent!) with Pro releases.

It's not even searchable in the site map, so it might not happen today at all.

Why am I not surprised

 

It was the same with the canisters and a few other Pro collections (e.g. the Nude collection and the Chromagraphic Pencils). But no, it's not really a surprise. It's just frustrating!

smh, i see they're slow with the pro collections. I would at least like to see what the palettes look like because I can't find it online anywhere.

I don't like freestyle palettes for my eyeshadows (I use a MAC 15x for those), but I'm fine with using one for blushes. Heh.

Just rearranged all my individuals... Love em like that :-)

How do you ensure you use all?!

 

Just rotate your palettes. Or start an e/s challenge where you have to use x number of e/s per week. I do this with blushes. It works like a charm and all my products get love.

When I have time I look though my palettes and I look for colours I haven't used in a while and I try to use them the next couple of days. It might also help to write the names on a note, so you don't forget. I don't really have a system, but it works for me.
