You're welcome.  Yes, I think Paparazziboy was talking about the Desert one. I might have to skip this collection if it will be released in September or October. Because we'll get Styleseeker and Ruffian in Sep., and Marilyn and By Request in Oct. I believe, and my wallet can't handle more than two collections per month.

I have to see swatches and maybe cut down my lists for the other collections, if there's something in this one I really want.

Looking forward to see swatches to get the feel of the quality of those quads.

I am happy to say that even the promo pictures do not get me excited for this collection - just as well, with all the other upcoming collections.

It is ok but I am skipping. The nude looks to pale for me to love.

The shades look classic enough, but I think that if I really want a neutral, elegant kind of palette, I'll spring for one of the Armani Fall ones. Honestly, though, I feel like I have so many wonderful neutral shades already that I don't need to add 4 at a time.

Back when MAC was new in town - in the mid to late 90s - i got:

Lust - highly frosted pale blue violet (black cylinder tube)

Grid - frosted dark blue violet (silver bullet tube)

 

They still smell and feel OK. It'd be nice if MAC'd bring one or both back... I suspect you'd like Lust - sounds just like what you're asking for.

I remember Lust! Remember Alumina? - frosty blue! Those were the days!

Me too but it's hard for me to buy stuff that I can't use my discount on.  I did read that we can't use our discount, right?  I hope I'm wrong!!!

I would if the colors were more unusual.  Paying full price for two more carbons is tough lol.  Who knows, I'll go see them and see what happens!

I hope the eyelash curler gets decent reviews,been needing a new one,and I like that it's all black :) and I will get a back-up of Feline too,everything else I think I will skip though,saving for holiday stuff.

I didn't realize the curler was with this collection, I thought it was with the accessories. Thanks, I need a new one too and love the idea of black.

i just hope it's not too pricey,the one I have is the regular silver Mac one,but I can't seem to fit all my lashes in it,so the curl is always wonky on the outer corners hahah! Thank goodness for falsies sometimes~

You should try the Nars one.  Most curlers miss my outer lashes, but this one doesn't.  It also never pinches.  And it's black! :)

Yes, sometimes the palettes disappoint my usual expectation of butteriness with the MAC e/s.  But getting a whole set that is easy to travel with is appealing if at least most of them are useable.  Lets hope they aren't chalky.

Yes, these are great colors, well coordinated and the packaging is meeting my expectations.  This may actually compensate for having no Marilyn quads.

They look great.  I think this collection has lots of workable shades.  It reminds me of the Naturally colors, but with palettes.

It looks like she added a filter which always distorts the color. Hopefully it's not that orange.
