MAC for Marilyn - Page 48

I have been waiting in anticipation for the release of the Marilyn Collection ever since we got the color story.  I am really only interested in the two darker red lipsticks.  However, after seeing the swatches we have so far, I am like a few others in here regarding them.  They aren't blowing me away.  Right now, I might only be interested in Deeply Adored but will probably get Charmed I'm Sure anyways.  I am somewhat interested in Love Goddess (depending on if it is deep enough in color or not) but we can't seem to get a swatch of that one.  Hmph.

Thanks for the swatches! I might only get two things as of now, The Perfect Cheek and Preferred Blonde. Idk, like with most collections I keep changing my mind.

Wow! Oh how I  Marilyn. Very excited. I'm sticking to my three lippies & I will probably skip the rest, but... one never knows.

I already have Scarlet Ibis, Redd, Cherry, Smolder and the Penultimate liner, and I will pick up Pure Zen in regular packaging :)

Wonder if How To Marry will be similar to the beloved and much missed Solar White???

I'm probably just going to get a l/s or two just because I want to have a red marilyn monroe l/s and the beauty powder. The rest is still maybe

I am not sure but I think that HTM is "just" white and does not have the golden shimmer that Solar White has got.

I got an invite and it's gorgeous! It's printed and embossed on very heavy card stock. It's a great keepsake/souvenir.

After seeing the Holiday collection my list is confirmed one eyeshadow and the BP!

are there any swatches of love goddess lipstick yet? i know there are pics of the other lipsticks but im waiting for swatches of love goddess and the beauty powder because those are the two im interested in lol

I'm waiting (impatiently as always) for swatches of the 2 blushes and the pb. I hope something will suck so I can spend more on the holiday collection.

Some more swatches really need to blow me away or it will be a total skip and saving for the Holiday collection!

My list is still holding strong at BP and SI. 

 

(Of course once the the online ordering frenzy starts, my willpower may go straight to hell, and I will end up with almost everything.)

Just two lipsticks for me

I've narrowed down my list to three lipsticks and the beauty powder, pretty proud of myself! But I only cut back because I need to start saving up some major $$$ for the holiday collection!

Just 3 lipsticks for me, I don't want the beauty powder " déjà vu " to my mind. Then I'll purchase from the Chanel, Dior, Nars and maybe M.A.C holiday collection, I really need the OPI James Bond collection too, so the Marilyn collection is not what I prefer, lipsticks are pretty but the packagings are really horrible, a tribute to Marilyn ought to be much better than that.

 I didn't know about this. I must look into it at once! Tx Dominique33.

After seeing the Holiday pics, I'm skipping everything from this. It never really excited me beyond the packaging anyway.

 Really? I still want both blushes and the BP. One lippy and Phiff or how ever it is spelled.

Yeah, it's a total skip for me. That sucks b/c I love the packaging. I'm over BP's. I have enough. Nothing else is doing it for me. I was thinking about getting a backup of Scarlet Ibis just to get in on the packaging, but it's not worth it considering I'll be buying a lot from other collections and brands.

Just got an invite in the mail. I am seriously impress. Its a really fancy dense card. 

 

Thank goodness this collection is only screaming a couple of lipsticks to me.  More money for holiday.  This  collections is going to do well though. Its MM.   I think this collection isn't for the MAC diehards though.  WE want more, luckily holiday is the giving it.

I'm soooo looking forward to this collection! My wishlist atm is:

 

- BP

- Legendary and The Perfect Cheek blushes

- Love Goddess (I love me some Satin lipsticks!)

I'm still in this collection even with the awesomeness of the holiday collection. I think the Marilyn lipsticks are pretty.

Seeing the other collections hasn't shifted my purchase plans. I have a BP put aside for me; I'll have to take a look at it to be sure I want it. I had NARS Nico on my list; I'm waiting to see how I feel about this one first. I'll only buy one of them.
