HTH  I think I like Fluidlines slightly better than Pearlglides, but the second is easier to apply.  The FL however last forever. 

I was able to get Midnight Snack and Wholesome fluidlines from a Macy's counter about 2 weeks ago. I think you have a shot at still buying them. I also didn't realize Midnight Snack is a periwinkle-ish color since I haven't swatched it yet. That's good to know! It just looks gray in the pot.

It is so much livelier in vivo.  I may be going out on a limb here, but Midnight Snack was my favorite FL ever.

I really thought that this collection would kill me, but seeing the products my mind is somewhat put at ease. Two - three lipsticks, perhaps 2 eyeshadows, the beautypowder, perhaps the blush(es) and the false lashes. Then again, when I see it, I might still go crazy... Really curious about the packaging :)

I really do not like the penultimate liner that much. I had it twice and only grabbed for it if I was in a hurry, but somehow that stuff does not last on me. I guess my eyelids are a bit too oily....

I expected several fluidlines which are so much better and more red lipsticks. Those two babies will be mine though. I don't get the nude lipsticks for Marilyn???

 That's what I think too, because Marilyn wise it jus does not make sense...

i would like to think the nude lipstick represents more of her natural side when shes not all glamed up and still looks amazing like in these photos...

 I'm with you martiangurll. Same problem/addiction.

  Thanks for the pics luvlydee. She looks so beautiful when she is just carefree & natural. I mean, she's just one of those natural beauties anyhow whether made up or natural. The camera really loved her as do we.

I'm always looking for a really wonderful dark red. So often they seem to lean pink/ purple on the one side or brown on the other. Here's hoping that the dark shade here is what I'm looking for.

 I can't help but feel slightly disappointed by the line-up for this collection. This is coming from someone who wears essentially a Marilyn eye look every day and switches out the lip colour from nude to red to fuschia to blue and back to nude; I'm just not feeling it based on words on a page. A FIRST FOR ME!

Although I'm holding out for some pictures. My only "wow!" item thus far MIGHT be eyeshadows and one of the red lipsticks.

I'll need some BADASS packaging to get me saving...

Well, your wallet might be happy for the break, but on the other hand, I find that my reaction to a program is often different when I see the descriptions than when I see images or actual products.

This pairing of Marilyn Monroe and MAC is so epic, could it ever truly live up to expectations?  I still think its going to be killer.  With the veluxe pearl e/s, matte lipsticks, and beauty powders in special packaging, there will be plenty to love IMHO

My MA described the lipstick packaging to me: It's a little-seen black and white photo of Marilyn in a top hat with a cane that is printed on the length of the tube. He compared it to the MAC Playboy collaboration and said he was getting at least one of everything just for the packaging (which surprised me, because he's not usually a packaging fanatic).

Liba you ARE a temptress!  Thanks for the info sweetness!  I will probably buy a few things JUST for the packaging myself!  I'm a sucker for MAC AND Marilyn.... So how could I not!?

I'm not much of a packaging person - I won't buy something unless the color is good on me, no matter how awesome the package. That said, some of the lipsticks sound so beautiful. If they work on my skin tone, Deeply Adored and Love Goddess are coming home with me for sure.

Thankfully, the shadows are totally not interesting to me, except maybe Showgirl. I'll hopefully get out pretty cheap on this one for a change.

I can't wait to see the packaging. This is only reassuring me that I want all of it! Lol.

I don't want to go crazy with this collection, I would like to get not more than three items, but I'm not sure if that's possible. 

2 lipsticks, 4 eyeshadows originally was 3 but decided I could use the darkest one as eye liner, 1 eyeliner- maybe , 2 blushes. I'm hoping my list doesn't change again.
