Wow, the frenzy on this collections is crazy!  I'm one of them.  The Manager at the shop where I go (65 miles each direction) is a wonderful person and she told me to call at 11:00 on Thursday, October 4th because she could not sell anything from the collection before that date.  I called at 10:58.  Of course.  The Manager told me the store only got two each of the shadows and the beauty powder - what???  Anyway, I ordered and received the  Showgirl, Preferred Blonde, Perfect Cheek and Forever Marilyn.  The lippes are all too dark for me.  I also ordered three brushes that I needed.  Anyway, my box arrived at my doorstep today!  The unhappy thing was; I had to mow for at least 90 minutes (to take advantage of the light and sunshine), then I had to make chicken enchiladas for my hubby's dinner before I could even take a peek at the box, but because I had done all that mowing, I had to shower before doing the cooking, then fix the enchiladas.  It was 8:30 before I could open the box!!!  But - I was finally able to sit down and enjoy my box from MAC - LOVE everything.  Can't wait to enjoy it in the morning.

I cant imagine the lines and mobs most of you have had to deal with. The Mac counter I went to had one woman with a stroller and it looked like her mother and another child that was hers. I was second in line (well she wasnt in line but she was waiting first) and was willing to let her get her stuff ahead of me but she stopped to swatch stuff which surprised me. The third woman that came got in line immediately and bought one of each l/s plus an ext LG and a FM. Once she got in line so did I. I only bought FM, DA, and SG at the counter. Another woman came while I was in line and looked GRUMPY. She looked like she had wet hair so I am sure she rushed to get there.I have my blushes and LG coming to me soon I hope. The lady at the nordstrom counter said she would send them but I have no way to track it.

     now i want enchiladas!!!!  glad you got what you wanted!!

Basically we fill out a form asking for the products we want and if they get another shipment they will contact you and let you know
I did it yesterday when I showed up and everything was sold out

The exchange rate is pretty good now. It doesn't end up being that much more expensive. Much better than ebay prices!

Anyone have an extra of Love Goddess that they'd be willing to sell? It's really the only item that I want from this collection! I got to swatch it today at my Macys MAC counter and I love it. They wouldn't sell the tester to me because I guess they have to destroy it. So weird because I know other people were able to buy testers!

I think it would be 36 each canadian $ after converted the UK price hmmmm

I feel as if I'm the only one who doesn't LOVE Love Goddess. It's pretty, but it goes more pink than red on me. Maybe I just need to get used to it. However, I love DA, SI, PB, and the BP. PB does feel a bit more stiff than the regular VP formula, but the color is SO gorgeous and I used it with Wedge and Espresso today for the perfect Marilyn eye. I would love to find a BU of the BP, but I'm starting to lose hope. However, I use Careblend powder and Guerlain Teint Beige Meteorites regularly, and it gives me a bit of a similar effect - a bit more of a sheen, but it's pretty nonetheless.

Also, how do I take care of the 35 lashes? How long can they be re-used for? Thanks!
 

I was glad I bought in store the beauty powder was way to light I'm an nc20 at my ultra palest but get up to an NC35 in the peak of summer I have been using self tanner so I am still about an NC30 I did get three lipstick Charmed I'm Sure, Deeply Adored, and Love Goddess. I'm happy with what I got I mixed them all up yesterday had deeply adored on the edges and corners charmed i'm sure in that with love goddess over the center blend amazing.

 

Most stores and the online MAC agent told me they wouldn't be restocking their supplies :(

Ahh okay, I was converting it from UK to Us dollars (I bought a back up from the UK myself). It depends on how much You think You'd use it. I almost bought a 3rd BP but stopped at 2 because I can always get the Guerlain Meteorites by that point.

That is what I was thinking when everyone was snatching up the BP yesterday here. Most everyone was way darker than me ( I am a nw15 oddity here) and I fear many of them will be disappointed if they were looking at it for a useable product or full face powder. I just hate the thought of a ton of them being returned for that reason.

So, LADIES.  If you buy the BP and don't want it - LET US PALE LADIES KNOW.  We'll likely buy it off you!

Agreed! There are plenty of pale ladies here who'd love it. 

I've been given testers before (very quietly), but I've never been able to buy one. I got given the first ones because I asked if I could purchase them and since then I've been given a couple unprompted because I've asked if they still had the item.

It's not much more than the $34 Cdn price tag, that's why I didn't even blink.

OctoberViolet- I had a thought about your new MAC shipment.  You might want to contact UPS to tell them your delivery preferences.  I know for me, if I'm not home, UPS just leaves the package at my door.  If it's something I have to sign for (which I guess your MAC shipment was since your mysterious neighbor signed for it), UPS leaves a note on my door saying that they came by with my package, but I wasn't there so they held onto it and will try delivering it again the next day.  I don't know if this is something you would want to do, but just thought I'd mention it.  The odds of them failing to deliver your package twice is pretty slim, but you never know with them...

It's definitely pinker than Blushbaby. My neutral blushes are Douceur, Blushbaby, Prism and TPC. TPC is by far the pinkest - the others all have more brown but are all different. That's a heavy swatch and me really eyeballing the differences though - it's in the same family as BB. :)

Just a little positive story. I had called the Nordstrom in Seattle after someone on here said they were taking phone requests to see if they would ship to me. Well I talked to this super nice lady Robin and she was so helpful! I mean just so nice and really wanted to make sure I got my items. She said she'd call back after the release to tell me if she was able to put some things to the side for me. So I just assumed oh she's not gonna call back. Well to my surprised she did! She wasn't able to get me the products but just wanted me to know. Like she didn't have to do that and she did and I could tell she honestly felt bad. It was just nice to know she cared about whether I got my products or not. Anyway I sent her manager an email about how lucky they are to have her! Also you ladies in the Seattle area are lucky to have MAC employees like that! 

 

So I tried the beauty powder... it's gorgeous!! Perfect on my NW10-15 skin. Now I understand all the rave reviews and multiple BUs. If I had more money to spend on this collection and it wasn't sold out, I'd get 1-2 BUs as well.
