Omg you guys were not kidding about FM!  I understand the backup frenzy now (and am even more annoyed at MAC for dropping the ball on stock).  I was afraid it would be too peachy for me since even the lightest bps sometimes don't work for me.  Light Sunshine just makes me look sunburned...   but FM just makes me look healthy.  Idk.  It's not really like Meteorites because those have some sparkle.  I hope we will see an iteration of this formula at least once a year now (since it is apparently close to Elude--I have to track that down, now!). 

LG didn't look so special on my hand but when I put it on it was magical.  If this is what Cherries in the Snow or WnW Cherry Picking looks like I'll have to pick those up.  I never realized how much I like pink reds on me.  Hell I think I'm heading to CVS tonight to check out Revlon CitS. 

Just a little positive story. I had called the Nordstrom in Seattle after someone on here said they were taking phone requests to see if they would ship to me. Well I talked to this super nice lady Robin and she was so helpful! I mean just so nice and really wanted to make sure I got my items. She said she'd call back after the release to tell me if she was able to put some things to the side for me. So I just assumed oh she's not gonna call back. Well to my surprised she did! She wasn't able to get me the products but just wanted me to know. Like she didn't have to do that and she did and I could tell she honestly felt bad. It was just nice to know she cared about whether I got my products or not. Anyway I sent her manager an email about how lucky they are to have her! Also you ladies in the Seattle area are lucky to have MAC employees like that! 

so annoyed...got one of my orders (from Macy's online) received my beauty powder and two eyeshadows from this collection and a lipstick box with NO LIPSTICK INSIDE UGH!!!!!

I've ordered 5 of the BP's, 1 of them for me, 4 for CP's!  Lol!

I was at a major disadvantage for this collection, unfortunately. I was on vacation, both when it went onsale online and when it was released in stores. Sadly I don't have internet access on my phone, so no ordering for me online. Just got home today.

I called my local MAC counter when they opened yesterday, because the manager there is always a sweetheart and holds what I want (they don't do pre-sales or pre-release holds), but everything was already gone! Distributed vouchers basically while people were in line outside the store. Called another store, and all they had left was Legendary, but they were kind enough to mail it to me. Already got it in the mail today! It's beautiful and I can't wait to try it!

After I got checked out of my hotel, I trekked over to the only MAC counter within several hours of where I was staying; the counter was at a Belk. This was a couple hours after they opened. They were cleaned out of everything except for the perm items, the polishes, Little Rock DG, and Scarlet Ibis. I only wanted 3 lipsticks, 1 blush or the BP, only Showgirl ES and none of the DG, but was so bummed about missing out on everything else, I wound up splurging on all 4 eyeshadows and the last Little Rock. Also got the last Scarlet Ibis. I was really lucky,

I kept calling random Macy's because I know they ship to card holders, but kept coming up empty. Finally found one SA who did a search & send, and allegedly I am getting The Perfect Cheek, Love Goddess, Charmed I'm Sure, and Forever Marilyn in the mail, all from different stores. I am not convinced though. I am mostly confident about the BP though, because I have a tracking number for it now and it is scheduled to be here in a few days. The other stuff hasn't mailed yet, so I have my fingers crossed. I figured it was safer to order it all, and if I don't like something, I can swap it.

I wish I had seen the Belk link sooner. I would have ordered another CIS just in case, and maybe DA too, just for the heck of it.

All right. Ladies & gents. I just wanted to let you know & give a shout out to Maconline.com. They are re-sending my order due to the f'ing UPS error. I'm relieved that I don't have to go to this stranger's apartment to ask for my package now. If, by some chance after I receive my new package I decide to go to this stanger's apt. for my old package, then I will have bu's of the lippies. I have a feeling this person who took in my package is keeping it for himself/herself. They had four days to contact me or leave it on my door step and they didn't. I'm still pissed about the whole ordeal, but so thankful for MAC to do this for me. I just hope my future orders won't get screwed up like this one did. UPS!

Sorry to ask again but just want to double check, does anyone know if there are going to be anymore re-stocks? Thanks!
 

so i have yet to play with my beauty powder, and have read how much lighter skin tones love it but how are tanned/darker skin tones liking it? i'm an NC35 and can't wait to do my makeup and try it out.

Love Goddess w embrace me l/p, Preferred Blonde, Showgirl.

I would be careful with over applying because I think it could go too pale on darker skin tones. I think it would be pretty as a highlighter with a light application. If I had a tan I do not think it would be pretty on me at all.

If I could only have one product from this collection it would be Love Goddess, so I hope like crazy that I actually receive it!

I am looking at the bright side though. I feel very fortunate to have gotten anything at all, given my situation (including dealing with a store I had never even laid eyes on before).

StarrySim, thank you for the swatches, they are very helpful! Legendary looks very pretty!  I also realised I need fusion pink lipstick in my life!!!
