Maybe I'm overreacting or I don't understand the situation, but I would seriously get mad if someone did that with my stuff. Now I'm glad nobody I know is interested in makeup

Actually no, it isn't!  It's Beet l/l filled in with Rebel on top!  I think next time though I won't fill my lips in because it definitely didn't turn out as dark on my lips as it did on my hand swatch which I think is due to the l/l.  I love the colour though, it's just so gorgeous.  I've yet to try CIS or DA but I probably should do soon!

I didn't like how the lipstick turned out though - I used Lip P&P underneath and when I wore P&P with LG it lasted on me seriously all day - it was amazing - but with Beet/Rebel it didn't do that.  I'm wondering if the l/l had something to do with it as they were filled in?  I'll have to experiment more but I thought I'd left the P&P long enough to get "tacky" before I applied.

I don't think you're overreacting - I'd be exactly the same if I'm honest.

When I got into make-up years ago I started with those 88 palettes from eBay to get the hang of things, esp as I couldn't afford MAC at the time.  I had a friend at the time ask if she could use a couple colours.  I reluctantly agreed even though I knew it wasn't at all sanitary and she DUG a brush into my eye shadow.  I mean it was EVERYWHERE.  The look on my face must've been a picture because another friend was trying not to laugh at my reaction.  She was just rubbing it into the shadow as hard as she could!  I've since never shared.  I've given my Mom some stuff I don't use anymore, like I'll go through lipsticks etc and if I don't use them I'll put them around and say "Ok, choose what you want, the rest throw out" and that's it, but it's all sanitized for her.

If someone just took my items though - I'd flip a lid like you would not believe.

I pretty much only use Chrome and haven't had any issues. I hope it fixes the problem for you. Chrome is pretty cool plus it saves your bookmarks to your login as opposed to just your computer. I can save a bookmark on the app for my iphone and have it show up on my desktop and vice versa.

Another vote for Chrome! I love that I can log onto Chrome from my laptop/work computer/iPad/Android and have the same tabs open on all of them.

same to this one... NO NO NO NONONO HELL NO!!!!   LOL, I just can't...  I bet you have to hide your stuff or buy a ton of backups.  

I got behind on this thread, has everyone gotten what they want?  I go pick up my pre-order from nordies, hopefully they still have it.  but I pretty much was able to get everything, so these are backups.   Do you know I still have not played with my goodies?   

I feel like I might purchase SI and DA from selfridges tonight should I?

I haven't got DA but if you think you might regret it later, buy it!

You probably won't be able to get these lipsticks again unless they're re-released..and if you seriously want them you'll have to pay a lot for them on ebay..

Then again it doesn't hurt that much to not have nearly every lipstick! Eventually you'll just forget about SI and DA and fall in love with another lipstick! Would you pay £18 each for these lipsticks? (that's how much they're worth if you add on the postage and divide by 2)

Not at all, I like to hear other opinions.. What I'm planning to do now is to get chili and SI and wear them together.. I think I won't bother with DA. Orange  reds look really good on me so I think I'll stick to them. I have a question though, is SI very bright, do you think??

I was looking at ArtDeco Dita collection the other day, and they have a selection of reds too.. and 1 lipstick there is 18 pounds.. so I really don't mind paying that for Marilyn..))

to be honest I don't think it is very bright but it is bright enough but isn't too in your face. I could definitley wear SI without getting a million stares which I would if I wore Force of Love l/s lol!. I think T's lip swatch looked a lot brighter than it actually is too. You're my same colouring btw and I think SI nicely contrasts with my skin.

I didn't notice how similar they were! I think Moxie is a nicer color as well. Well, depending on the person. lol.

Well, I just bought SI and CIS..I think I can officially say that I'm done with this collection :)

I decided to get brick lip pencil instead of chili lipstick from my next MAC haul..

Me too.. I guess in the tube Love Goddess looks a lot redder than it swatches.. but they are quite similar when swatched :) The good thing is I don't need to back up one or the other hehe

Yes it really did look reddish but was really happy at how pink it was. I feel the same! I'm a NC20 too. So love the coloring.

I wore SI today with a bevy of lip pencils (all together - 1 to line, 1 to fill in, 1 to darken corners): Cherry, Burgundy, Redd.

It was fun.

I like SI. Its one of those shades you can wear with a red, burgundy or orange lip pencil.
