I have a question--

 

Did anyone happen to notice fingerprints on the cap of their dazzleglasses from this collection? I got the last Little Rock from a Belk on release day. Haven't worn it yet, but opened the box and I noticed fingerprints on the cap. They had a tester on display, so I would assume this was never used in testing, and it was gotten out of the drawer by the lone SA. Just wondering if this is normal with these shinier type caps.

 

I'm a little concerned someone might've used it.

I'm really in love with the e/s. Preferred Blonde as a wash of color over Genuine Treasure. Carbonized from MAC Me Over in the outer V and lover lashline. How to Marry on the tearduct and on the outer lower lash to further open the eyes. It looks very natural. Simply divine. Love it, especially as Preferred Blonde and Carbonized actually melt to a nice taupe-y shade with the most incredible sheen ever!

 

I am really hoping that is the case, but I am sort of afraid to use it now. I REALLY want to use it, too! I'm hoping maybe the SA pulled it out of the box to check it and I didn't notice; they do that at my counter sometimes to make sure the correct product is in the box. I just don't know what to do. I would return it to their store and order online, but I don't have a Belk here (was on vacation then).

I'm loving the MM eyeshadows, too.  I shall have to dig Carbonized out of my stash and try this

 

Urgh, that sucks. Maybe you can check the cap of the gloss when you open it. If you see product (which happens when you pull out the wand), the chances are high that it has been opened and/or used. Hopefully everything is o.k.

 

 

Yes, you need to try it. It's a lovely neutral taupe eye combination.

 

Where on the cap would I see product when I open it? I appreciate the help.

 

I went ahead and ordered another off of Belk's website along with Phiff!, because this is just bugging me. If it appears used once I open it, I will put it aside for now. I checked the return policy, and I have 180 days from date of sale. Discovered there's a Belk in another part of the state that I likely needed to visit anyway, so I will just go there if I have to. I can't afford to be out of that money and not be able to use the product!

 

If it doesn't appear used-- yay for a BU, I guess.

If it has been opened the container should appear full of gloss (unless of course it's used a lot:p). An unopened gloss had a small part of air in the top of the container. Most likely someone checked if the right gloss was in te box. They do that quite often.

I also wanted to add that I love the Forever Marilyn beauty powder so much! I'm glad I have 4 BU's. I haven't made a dent yet, but I have only had it for two weeks and I don't use it over my complete face. I still need to try that.

I am glad you say so, as I bought 2 BU, site unseen.  But the folks here at Specktra never lead me wrong so I figure its Win-Win-Win situation.

And even if you don't like it you can always sell it here. More than enough people that want it. But I'm sure you'll like it, it's so wonderful. I can' t get enough of it

I finished my haul today and I'm super excited!   I got Deeply Adored, Love Goddess and Forever Marilyn!

I was a little worried about the bp, but it's like a wonder product. I know exactly what you guys were talking about, it leaves such a beautiful sheen that it can be a highlighter and a setting powder too! As for the lippies, I want to get some bu's!

Today, when searching for good deal on ebay (sometimes you still can find good deal on those less popular products), read a positive feedback for a seller....

 

 

Please let me know if collection is all or one piece very confusing just pay

 

 

Although can't blame seller entirely that the buyer probably only bid base on picture and did not read the description, still feel bad for the buyer. i made similar mistake before, and it costs me $16 for my mistake, but it costs that lady $80+ for one pure zen lipstick....IF indeed the seller only sent one pure zen , not 5 lipsticks as pictured. Don't just bid by picture - have to always bear it in mind.

 

I want one too.

That was SOOOOOO stupid! The invoice number is clearly visible. That person is going to lose their Pro status. What an idiot. 

I agree. If people are willing to spend $80 on ebay, they need to be more careful and take the time to read the descriptions in full.   I never judge a listing based solely on the pictures, especially since most of these ebay sellers only use stock photos. (I actually only purchase from sellers who provide actual images of the item being sold). 

 

I just looked at the listing you referenced and while it IS a bit confusing to see a stock photo of 5 lipsticks, the buyer should have asked questions BEFORE purchasing the item...and honestly, the listing said "You are bidding on one brand new in box MAC Marilyn Monroe collection lipstick in "Pure Zen", a frosted warm nude in MAC's cremesheen formula, in the beautiful sleek black limited Marilyn packaging and box". 

What an IDIOT! I'd report this to MAC but somehow I don't think that they'd care! 

 

I hope MAC is doing some type of monitoring. Seeing how crazy things we're with the MM release. This member is in clear violation of the MAC pro terms & conditions.

Someone needs to screen shot this and report it to MAC (someone with better skills than I possess).

My baby is too small lol he can't pick anything up but some socks (he's a yorkie) wish he could though that's cute

I sent a long e-mail and a ton of screenshots   Including some of the long list of other Marilyn Monroe products that they're selling, and the ones that they've already sold (and of course the original auction, and invoice, and a zoomed in shot of their order number, which I made sure to repeat in my e-mail just in case it was too blurry for them to read...)

what email did you use to send it to? I was trying to look for a mac pro one but I was having trouble finding one on site. Maybe if they get more emails like this they will take notice. Or who knows they might already be investigating people that are doing this.

 

From what I have heard they are cracking down on employees buying and reselling. I know of one MA at a local counter here that was fired for doing this not too long ago. I am hoping this is a trend. Not that I hope anyone lose their job, meaning that this is a deterrent for employees and pro members who are doing this or considering it.

 

I mean I get it, a lot of us get back up of items. BUT that's for our personal use. Or if anyone here is like me, I buy sh*t sometimes out of pure impulse . Gotta work on that. LOOOL
