MAC for Marilyn - Page 262

I wasn't going to buy any Marilyn items save the BP but stuff happened and I ended up getting all lippies and both blushes

I'm wearing CIS today for the first time and I love it! The blue undertone is very prominent, which makes it different from the other reds in my collection. And the application is to die for. MAC really nailed it with the new Matte formula!

I won't get my PZ, DA and LG until the end of next week, and I can't wait to play with them too.

I agree that Mac did an excellent job on the new matte formula. I have a hard time skipping new matte lippies.

I still haven't used the Beauty Powder, but Gracie has me itching to get more. LOL

I finally tried my DA and CIS yesterday.

I LOVE DA.  Omg.  LOVE it.  I can't believe I nearly skipped it.  It's dark and beautiful and my lips looked so much bigger which is really weird but LOVE DA.

CIS is meh.  It's alright, but nothing amazing to me.  I'm still happy to have it though.

I tried PZ last week - I like it but it's gonna take a lot of getting used to - I never, ever wear nude colours and when I looked in the mirror I was like "Holy crap!" - scared myself.

I love this collection.  I wish I'd picked up Legendary but other than that I'm happy.  3 FM BP's, CIS, DA, LG, PZ and TPC blush.  Happyyyy! :D

I agree! This has been one of my favorite collections I've worn something from it almost every day.

This collection is amazing!! The lipsticks are so gorgeous and I agree about the reformulation of the matte lipsticks! They have definitely improved!

i love the blushes and pure zen!!! 

HOLY COW! Today is the first day I've really worn DA and OMG! I love it!

I'm wearing it with Burgundy l/l outer lip, Cherry to fill in.

I also tried it with Vino to line and Cherry to fill in.

I think for me its DA > SI > CIS> PZ > LG but I may need to play some more to be certain.  Any recs for liner to wear with DA?

My faves: FM=TPC>DA>SG but I love them all. I gave CIS to my daughter (because she absolutely rocks it) and I have LG tucked away for Christmas for her. I'm kinda sorry that I didn't get SI, but I'll live. I have Sail la Vie and Lady Danger so I don't need it.

Favs for lipsticks: DA>LG>CIS/PZ - Can't decide which goes where for the last 2! Lol

the BP is so soft that if you use it all over (which is how I will use this) it goes really fast, esp. if you use it every day.  you can keep the compact though and put other products in there like other BP in regular packaging...

This is a silly question...the FM Beauty Powder is .35 oz, how long do you all think it would take to use it up if you used every single day? 6 months or more like a year?

I use this all over, very little amount though and I find that it doesn't have fall out or excess product after swiping the brush.  Thankfully I usually only wear makeup 3x a week, sometimes 4.  Granted I have 3 of them but I'd like to make it last as long as possible, lol.  Might need a 4th.

maybe you can sell your extra (BU) empty marilyn compacts once you are done as collector's items...

Well, that's not great. I use this lightly as a quasi-setting powder over office makeup, but I also really like wearing it over bare skin with just lipstick. I only have two, so I hope I don't burn through them. I don't even see a dip in my first one yet, but I haven't been using it as long as Gracie.

DA looks very pretty with Beet, and my personal favorite, Vino! it makes it extra dark though. Also, thanks again for my CIS! its so pretty! cant wait to wear it!

hopefully mac will repromote this product or create new ones just like it....
