I think most non-fanatics will not even notice unless there's a color they buy repeatedly. Unless change the case too? But personally I doubt they'll do that. What do you think?

Thanks for the link! I want to see Secrete, Seduisante and that pink beige Gracile, which I hope is not peachy. The black red Determinee looks interesting, maybe I can add it to my collection if I can pull it off.I feel that the current perm RA colours are not exciting and look dated, so I'm happy that they are introducing new ones.

I miss the Ratonas chat... esp. now since we're in between big collections ;). Last weekend was my birthday, I'm turning 33 this year  , somehow I'm at peace with my age this time (was throwing a fuss when I turned 30. LOL). The hubs took a day off since Friday and spoiled me the whole weekend . It was one of the nicest birthday I had :).

Back to topic, I'm tempted to get the Orange-Red Coromandel or the Fire-Red Incandescente... basically another shade of red that would look good on me :D. I wasn't interested in the RA colors before either, so I'm glad Chanel introduced new shades too!

Happy for you that it is one of the best birthdays!

We can talk more about the new RA at the lipsticks thread. I'm liking the description of Incandescente too! :)

Thanks for the link! These look like they're designed to replace some of the more intense colours that were discontinued when the RALs disappeared (like Coromandel). I really hope that this isn't the entire line, though- maybe there's a few colours they could eliminate, but there are so many nice ones already in the lineup! I'm glad these will be permanent, though, because there are a number of them that look appealing...

Happy ( belated, sorry for that ) Birthday to you. You are young indeed, so enjoy !  Coromandel well it's really a name for you and Coco Chanel loved coromandels. It's still a niche perfume, as for Rouges Allures, Coco I don't know I've just seen the nail polish.

I just saw the fall collection at Bergdorf's, I can't believe it's out already. It was so busy at the counter, I had to wait to see the colors.

This is a huge collection, $$$$. I had to restrain myself, but I know I'm not done yet! Bergdorf's had a really nice gift and Chanel also gave me some cute gifts.

Yeah, I realized that too with my age. At 30 I felt so old but now it's like I'm young again .

Part of me is liking the fact that I could rest my wallet until Fall... I like the looks I could create with my stuff right now, trying to finish some stuff to make space for fall MU ;).

Belated birthday wishes from me too :) I will turn 30 by the end of this year too, and I'm already freaking out about it, LOL. I start getting gray hair now and I panicked when I first saw it a couple of weeks ago. I cried.  . Can't believe I'm turning 30 already, it sounds so unreal, I feel more like 15.

I'm turning 30 in 2 years time and I'm turning grey already. Thinking of colouring my hair but I've not done it before and I will be lazy about retouching it.

OMG! Not sure how I missed this but I hope you had a wonderful birthday, Astrid! 

And as far as feeling old... I think it gets better as you go along. I really minded 35 for some reason, but this year I'm turning 40 and it just seems more funny than anything. (It might feel different as the date gets closer.)

Ernie- Thank you so much for posting the photos. It seems completely ridiculous to me that there is a Fall collection out when it's still technically Spring, but I know that the Summer collections were hitting shelves before it was technically Spring, so I guess the schedule works. I'm really afraid of the damage that this Fall is going to do to my wallet between this and Guerlain...

Btw, I always have a couple of stray gray hairs... especially when I'm facing a tough exam, so I called them my wisdom hair . 

I agree with Anneri & Katred, after that initial dread three years ago, I am now having the best time of my life. I think it was the expectation of a white picket fence that threw me off for a second (plus just moving to a new city and had no friends to celebrate the birthday with :P). 

Also, seconded the sunscreen, Anneri!

Btw, speaking of Ratonas, does anyone know where HG is? I miss her around here... I hope she's doing fine wherever she is.

Nothing really speaks to me still from this collection... except perhaps the nail polishes... I like the highlighter color but the pattern gives me the shiver in bad way. I know I'm weird though .

What did you think of the quad?

The quad was nice, basic with the beige,pink,brown and black shadows.

Complice is super pigmented, so shiny, I love it! I'll probably wear it on my lid(as I have deep set eyes) over a matte ivory color. The Chance Eau Tendre is the third incarnation of their original scent, it's supposed to be younger, more fruity???
