I thought about that for a long time, how does one know?! I decided to buy most of the reds MAC has in the perm line to see what looks best. I adore Runaway Red(have BU's) but it just wasn't it. Tried on Ruby, Ruffian, Russian, etc all were nice but I didn't have that YES this is IT feeling. Then I tried on MAC Red and yahoo.gifclapping.gifcheerleader.gif all happened at once! So like Teggy said, you just know when you put it on!

i would say that russian red is my HG red lippie

i just love it

from minute i put it on

 

my husband tho, LOVES red racer

he calls it "culo red"  translation "ass" red said its my hooker lipstick

 its the only lipstick he has ever noticed ive worn  th_rolleye0014.gif

so...couple of pics from yesterday when i tried out my ruffian goodies...

sorry it took me so long, everyone's probably all done with ruffian, but i figured since i took them i should post them....

the first is with gold + red, and the second only gold.

i also wore the gold to work today....

ps sorry i look sleepy....9 out of 10 photos of me turn out like that!

thanks! actually i didn't get the nude...it looked similar to YPA (which i have) in Karen's swatches, so I thought it was safe to skip for me.

thanks... the first pic is the gold and the red mixed...a little gold under, a little gold over top...i guess i have yet to try just the red on its own!

 

i like how fine the shimmer is in the gold...but i agree with whoever still found it a little gritty!
