Awesome! thanks!

Here we go! Sorry it took me so long to get these; I'm still trying to figure out decent lighting for makeup photos in my tiny apartment and haven't quite achieved it yet. Hopefully this gives you an idea of how nice Pagoda is though! I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on over bare lips - I said I bought it for layering but alone it gives my lips a nice lush look without too much color change (since they're naturally cooler-toned).

Bare lips for reference

Coral Bliss - love this for warming up my complexion just a touch, and it hardly looks like I'm wearing lipstick!

i wonder how close Coral Bliss is to Cut a Caper. I really love my CaC but it's a lustre and those don't last forever. Cremesheens are more opaque right? That's what it seems like so they probably last longer too. I have Ravishing and Crosswires and they aren't as sheer. I am gonna have to get Sunny Seoul as I missed out on Flamingo and I'll likely get Coral Bliss at some point too. I am so glad these are perm.

Though they are cremesheens, they look more like luster or glazes to me. They are not uber pigmented.

Ok cool, thank you. It does look like the pearls are more sheer than the previous cremesheens. But, it probably makes for a more natural everyday lipstick. I am gonna try some of these when my budget allows for it. It has been collection overload lately lol.

Finally got to see these this weekend. They are quite pretty, although I don't know if I need more nudes. I'm already considering getting rid of a few of the ones that I have, like Creme d'Nude, which makes my lips look like overcooked chicken most of the time. Peach Blossom looked quite pretty swatched on my hand. I have a bunch of stuff to take back, so I might take a chance on one or two of these with my B2M bits... Any recommendations for the very pale/ cool-toned?

I'm NW20 and pure zen is beautiful. I got Summer Fruit liner to go with it and it is super gorgeous. I think it will be perfect for when I wear a lot of eye liner.

I am pale and cool toned...

Peach Blossom is probably my new favorite lipstick... its a MLBB type of shade...

Pure Zen is a good sorta nude...its not lighter than my face, and it leans a bit to the pale peach side, but not in a warm overly peachy way. its a very wearable quasi-nude for pale/cool toned people.

Now I'm getting interested in these which I really didn't expect.

Went to the MAC store today and picked up Pure Zen thmbup.gif

I think i found the perfect nude for me with this one, absolutely love it! love.gif

Also swatched Sunny Seoul and Pink Pearl Pop, will most likely get them too in the future but no rush since they're perm anyway :)

I went to my MAC store last night and got to play around with a couple shades. I will be getting Pink Pearl Pop for sure and I'm undecided between Sunny Seoul (tad pinkier) and Coral Bliss (Tad orangey). I'm looking for something to compare to Cut a Caper once I run out of it since this is perm.

Pure Zen didn't look right but I will have to try it out again since I had girl about town on beforehand and that leaves a bit of a stain on my lips.

I was able to swatch a few shades last night myself. It was too crowded in the store, so I only swatched the shades I was most interested in. Pure Zen, Pink Pearl Drop, Saigon Summer and Sunny Seoul. I need them now. I must take a look at the other shades and CSGs.

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered, but is Venus similar to Pink Pearl Drop and Cusp of Dawn similar to Pure Zen?

Pink Pearl is more pink Venus is more Mauve/Berry to me. I think the other 2 are kinda similar but Pure Zen is lighter and more opaque.

Pink Pearl Pop vs Venus --- Venus is a more conventional pink shade... Pink Pearl Pop has more yellow/coral tone to it

Cusp of Dawn vs. Pure Zen --- Cusp of Dawn is a bit more beige/brown.... Pure Zen is more of a light peachy tone but its not too warm like most other peachy colors

Thanks! I'm happy to know that they're different enough for me to get.

I wore Shanghai Spice today  --- LOVE it so much.

I kept checking myself out in the rear-view mirror I couldn't believe how perfect it is. blush-anim-cl.gif

I went to the MAC store to replace Up the Amp lipstick and instead ended up with Coral Bliss.  I thought the colors would be too sheer for me, but the associate tried recommended it for me and paired with Et Cetera lip pencil, it looks great.

saigon summer, sunny seoul, shanghai spice

i went back to mac and exchanged pink pearl pop with sunny seoul. For some reason the first time i tried sunny seoul it was just really frosty but this time i went it was more pigmented and i knew i liked it over pink pearl pop.

those are great swatches, and have me thinking I want Peach blossom.  Has anyone whose tried the finish agree it combines the lovely moisturizing & luminescent quality of the Lustre with the pigmentation of the Cremesheen finish?  If so, I will buy some of these even if they are dupes for other colors.  E.g. Love the color of Creme D'Nude, not so much the finish, so I could see replacing some nudes for a superior formula.

I usually am mostly into the lustres and I really like these, personally...even moreso than the lustres probably. the pigmentation is buildable, you can use them sheer or build them up more, but not as much as a normal cremesheen
