I have no problem buying the same color with different finishes because I do think the finish makes a big difference. If I like the feel of a mattene, I'll end up getting both Fashion Nomad and Eden Rouge. Being a mattene makes them different enough.

Lol, I think I wrote that message out more to myself to rationalize buying the lipstick.

Eden Rouge is a lot darker than Red Racer! i have them both!! and the Mattene formulas are AWESOME!!!! nothing quite like them! i buy them every time they come out! you wont be disapointed!! :)

I'm afraid that if I order more empty palettes my neighbors will think I'm building a drug lab from cosmetics rasta.gif

Maybe this is the hazardous material they had in mind? I emptied the box and he immediately made it his home :)

Aww... nuts! :)

Supercontinental may very well be what I've been seeking in a daily pink-coral blush.

I suppose I could always swap it if it doesn't work for me....

We have a kitten (well, he's just over a year old now) very similar to you kitty. His name is Fluff.

I'm wearing Indie Spirit today as a crease color.  I thought it applied pretty well especially considering I used a 286 brush to apply.  Pretty decent color pay off for me.

This reminds me of my kitties. It's guaranteed that if I set an empty box down within their reach, they will definitely get in it in 3 minutes or less.

So cute!
I just got a beautiful kennel and put nice warm sheets in it but my cat (Penelope) would rather sit In a cold festy box near my back door crying for me to come out lol

Eden Rouge is a gorgeous red. I have it from the original release.

Awww.. HoneyMilk, your kitty looks a bit pissed. Is s/he annoyed that you took away the MAC products? Or that you're encroaching on her/his "private box time"? tee hee :)

ps Whenever I see a cat + box, I think of Maru, the YT-famous cat. His videos never fail to cheer me up.

Cheeks:  Hidden Treasures applied with fan brush as contour, Worldly Wealth on apples

Lips: Eclectic Edge l/g

Looking at Local Wares on the the eye, Liba was right, if really does go on a lot smoother.  If I strain, I can make out an olive tinge but just barely.  It looks a pinch lighter than Avenue but I do like the look. I like Avenue better but only because its darker and I've been liking dark liner on the eyes lately.  But I'm glad I bought it.

I like Rich Ground too.  I've had it for a wile but I kind of wish Mac would come out with a darker more bronze fluidline.

Right, I was actually more impressed with the MUFE dupes...

Ok Karen's look sold me on this collex...

I didn't even notice that this was up on the Nordies site already. Think I'm going to swing by my counter tmrw and see if I can pick up the rest of my haul.

I received Local Wares fluidline and Restless lipglass tonight! I am leaving Local Wares BNIB because I have all the Shop/Cook fluidlines I'm working through, plus Ash Violet and Blitz & Glitz. I want to make bigger dents in my opened fluidlines before I add another one into the mix!

I do still have my Pret a Papier lipglass, so I thought I would post some comparison pictures. Pret A Papier is on the top, Restless is on the bottom

They do look pretty similar in the tube, and it's probably because Restless is new, but it looks like it has less of a sparkle and more of a duochrome.

Swatches. PaP on the left, Restless on the right:

They swatch pretty similarly, too! I'm happy to have a replacement for PaP!

I really can't tell the difference. Is the texture of Restless better than Pret a Papier? If so, I hope MAC keeps this less sticky formula for the lipglasses.

Hmm they swatch the same to me as well. Thanks for the pics.

What a cute kitty!

My black box for Dark Diversion (along with Prep + Prime Lip) came with a huge hazardous sticker today, too. It was 2nd day air. I wonder why. LOL

I haven't tried them yet, but wow, Dark Diversion looks gorgeous! I shall try DD very soon! eyelove.gif

Fair enough. It lasted for a week.

The good news is that you'll have plenty of opportunities to buy it in stores/counters starting this Thursday. :-)

Could someone compare Restless and Plum Fun l/s? I just realised I don't have Pret à Papier l/s even though I thought I did tong.gif!

I saw marche aux puces was sold out online...I guess it's been getting great reviews! Made my own marche aux puces this morning - saddle + the orange shade in the natural flare mes from way back when...I think the arts and crafts collection don't remember the name. Not having seen the duo irl, the combos serving me well! I wore it with dark diversion on top lash line, rich ground on bottom, supercontinental on apples, hidden treasure to ' contour' and legendary mattene. I was going to wear fashion nomad, but on my skintone it's a no-go with hidden treasure! Makes my skin look yellow green. No nice.
Otherwise a lovely colour, so I'll wear it without red tones!
