MAC style seeker - Page 12

That promo picture is gorgeous. My revised preliminary list is:

Fashion Nomad Mattene
Camden Chic Mattene
Restless - l/g
Hidden Treasure - blush(if this is the blush the model on the left is wearing than I must have it)

I saw pics of the new Ciate Bottled Sunshine collection, made me think of Styleseeker n/p. There might be a dupe among these. Seems like we'll see a lot of these shades for fall.

This one looks especially nice:

I'll put that pic in a spoiler, because it's so huge: (Click to show)

I just checked my Sephora+ Pantone Universe nailpolishes (set of four from this past Spring Collection) for a dupe. Just in case anyone else was wondering, the Style Seeker np is more pumpkiny, but a blend of a few from this set might be close.

Darn it! I was hoping my Sephora collection would be the last orange I would need!

I knew there was a polish I have that looks similar to the Styleseeker polish! China Glaze Free Love:

400 (From http://nails.krex.se/)

It's part of a collection that was released a couple years ago but it's still available on several wholesale polish websites and probably eBay as well!

Thanks, I'll check around for it and maybe a possible OPI dupe (they may have one in an upcoming or current collection) as well. I'll try to head out to the salon supply store this weekend!

This isn't an exact dupe (seems darker, maybe more red? could also be the lighting), but it looks really nice and I'm going to buy it regardless haha

That's a pretty one, too. ''Deutsche you want me baby?'' lol.gif The shade names are hilariously bad. I probably should get it just because it's a Germany collection, LOL.

The MAC one is described as a duochrome, so maybe it's still different. I hope we'll see swatches soon, to see how 'duochrome-y' it really is.

I used to want a job at OPI, naming all their polishes. Some of the names they come up with are ridiculously funny!

Now that Specktra is loading fine for me and the MAC site hasn't crashed on me (yet), I've finally come up with a pre-lim list!

Fun Finds

Delectable (thanks to Babylard's FOTD)

MAYBE Fashion Nomad OR Camden Chic (depending on swatches).

- My cousin picked up Eden Rouge for me at the CCO!

Restless

As for shadows, I'll start off with Whims and Fancies b/c I really want PA. Will have to swatch the others and see if they fill a hole in my collection.

BLUSHES....I DO NOT NEED ANYMORE. But, we all know I'll end up with some. Thinking of picking up Worldly Wealth..The other two are a maybe, although depending on the swatches, Hidden Treasure may come up home with me....In that case, it'd be mean to leave the cute coral behind!

Local Wares fluidline for sure...and I may pick up a BU of Dark Diversion.

I snapped some pics of Performance Art. Don't have any other mauvey type of shades to compare, so I swatched it next to Satin Taupe.

700

PA, ST

700

All that Glitters, PA, Patina

I put all my eye items in the mesh tray she has in the 2nd and 3rd pics.

Thanks so much for the link, Richelle83!

Now that's a makeup storage unit i can really use! Those clear plastic drawers others have posted are so cute, but just won't hold what i have. This has a limited footprint - and lots of drawers of a variety of depths to deal with items from MUFE skin-tone correcting primers (quite tall) to flat eyeshadows - and all those clever little holders in each drawer - and with mesh i can see what's inside.

I'll have get one of these when i'm back from vacation!

On another website (link posted in this thread somewhere...) it was a taupe with a lilac sheen. Is that how it actually looks, Mac-Guy? 'Cuz if it is, well, i may have trouble resisting.

On-line in the US, Deborah Lippmann polishes are US$18 - not cheap at all, but waaaay cheaper than in Europe.

 Forever!

I remember about 1 and a half years ago when I had one drugstore blush, and when it ran out I just bought the exact same one again to replace it.

Oh how times have changed (for the better in my opinion!)

A Touch of Summer is now available online. It appears the Skinsheen Leg Spray is a bronzer for the legs. Now that this collection is up, it makes me think that the By Request collection is soon to follow.

This is off topic, but since there was some nail polish talk and I don't know where else to post it: here are some pics and swatches of upcoming China Glaze collections. The new holo one is quite exciting! The spring collection looks nice as well.
