Sorry, hun. I won't post any swatches or give detailed descriptions of upcoming products as my images have been stolen again (despite the large watermark!) and posted to other sites. It's even more sad that this was done by several Specktra members! No need to go into more details and/or continue this discussion as this will not change much.

Anyways, I'd rather do not post images or product information -- at least not before official releases -- as I don't have the time or nerves to deal with thieves. I hope you understand.

PS: As we have similar likes and tastes, maybe my to-buy lists will help you with your purchase decisions.

I was just thinking the same thing. That's one of my favourite Mac shades. I'll have to see if this one is different enough to warrant bringing home. I love the look of the shadow duos, particularly the top one. And that gloss...

To me it looks more like Burnt Pepper. I think I can skip it with my recent pro blush purchases.

I believe the dates are August 16th at Pro stores and August 23rd everywhere else- a few days earlier for the pro and regular web sites respectively. It's hard to tell what's happening via-a-vis Mac and blogs this year. The earliest they seem to send out samples is about a week before the Pro date, but some times it hasn't even been that early.

Holy cow! How did I miss this?! That blush looks amazing as do the shadows, lipstick and gloss. The nail polishes don't excite me, but nail polish and I aren't very good friends. Tx Naynadine!

awwww, I understand.  It isn't worth the aggravation of hate mail or someone stealing your mental property!  If you just whisper to me what BU's you are getting, it will clue me to what I *need*.  Now I just need to pour over the prior posts and I will probably figure it out.  I am most interested in the blushes, maybe you could just warn your fellow blush hoors if any are chalky or not worth the effort???   I think I figured it out--TEAM 3. 

I just got invited to a cocktail party to celebrate this collection but I will be out of town.  The promo picture has me excited though.

Maybe you should check your account on the MAC website? There's the option to select your preferred MAC store. I chose the store at Pentagon City Mall in Virginia, so now I get invites from that specific store. I called them today just to confirm my event RSVP and to ask about holding items, but they don't offer holds. My time is set for 8pm, but I don't foresee things selling out before I get there. However, I'm certainly going to schedule the RSVP for the Mariyln Monroe event as close to 7pm as possible.

Yup, you are correct. The setting needs to be changed. Otherwise you just get a default address for an event.

it seems my store was set correctly...if montreal is too small for a special event, i would have thought toronto would have some stores large enough for an event!

Hm... I always remember them having special events for launches at the Pro store there (which, by the way, isn't any larger than the one here)... I'd love to go to another event, but I really don't want to go all the way to Manitoba to do it...
