Lines Under Eyes Help!

Hello everyone,

I thought posting on here for answers to my question is better then going into sephora and asking a sales associate which cream/or products will work for me? The problem I'm having is I just turned 25 eeks I know! I'm forming really bad lines under my eyes and very slightly starting thin lines on my forehead. I never knew you could prematurely age as quickly and as bad as I have! Now just a little background on me I have dry skin and have avoided using any kind of moisturizer for years because all the ones I had tried in the distant past broke me out so I'm assuming my skin is very sensitive. That being said most would probably say my skin has been neglected but for me it was that or have pimples all over my face? Way to choose huh. Anyways I did find a moisturizer by Missha a Korean brand that I've been using for about a month now that hasn't broken me out so I will continue to use that from here on out. My question and I know this might be a long shot but has anyone experienced noticeable results from a wrinkle cream/serum?? I desperately need to purchase something to help out with these under eye lines! Something I could use both on my under eyes and forehead would be ideal? I've been going back and forth between Perricone wrinkle serum and Peter Thomas Roth wrinkle?? If anyone can tell me what I could use that will work I would greatly appreciate it! TIA! :)

While I cannot recommend a specific brand, the key is to keep your skin moisturized. Dry skin will result in premature aging and lines and wrinkles will appear much faster. You should also protect your skin with a sunscreen when you are outside; I'm emphasizing outside as a lot of sunscreens are drying, so if you know you will be inside all day, I would only use a light sunscreen on these days. You might want to invest in a Clarisonic for gentle exfoliation and to stimulate skin renewals. Ultimately, whatever brand of cream you try, give it a shot for at least a few weeks (unless it breaks you out in a really bad way). Changing brands too often will not be beneficial, but will probably irritate your skin even more. Good luck!

I use BB eye balm at night -- from corner of eyes towards the exterior part..warm it up in your fingers and pat on... hey, it keeps my old eyeballs in good shape and been using it for about 2 years with a lot of crying time.. good luck.hatsoff.gif

Moisturize ! It means a very good day cream ( Hydranorme and Moisture Surge during summer ), drink water ( 2 l/day ) and avoid sun as much as possible. Oily skins tend to age much better than dry skins, so protect your face with a good moisturizer. You can try floral waters : http://www.sanoflore.net/fr/famille-4-8/eaux-florales.aspx rose and orange flower ( both very effective, rose is for wrinkles, orange flower specific for soothing dry skins ), it works. Both are natural and bio.

There is a Groupon for the ProSonic face and body brush that supposedly helps reduce fine lines. The deal runs until Sunday night and is only $65. It also says it can help exfoliate and rejuvenate skin and remove makeup and oil as well!

My under eyes have always been a big concern because as I get older IM losing a little Elasticity. I have noticed a difference from strivectins 360 rewind and their concentrate for wrinkles. This season has been sold very dry during the day I'll buff a little argon oil underneath my eyes and on top of my cheekbones after applying the serum and then go in with the concentrate. Then I'll finish with a Perricone finishing moisturizer and this seems to really help and lay a great foundation for my beauty balm. My night regimen is completely different. Before the weather got dry I was using a retinol at night. Now I'm using an age diffusing serum by murad which is absolutely wonderful And almond oil as my moisturizer. I would suggest getting something specific for the Eye area I have had success with Perricones firming eye cream but everybody is different. Think about what you're looking for Moisturized skin always looks younger.

Drinking 8 glasses of water or more daily to stay hydrated. Eat foods rich in antioxidants. Some of the best foods are beetroot, tomatoes, red peppers and kiwi.

But why are these excellent foods for preventing and eliminating under eye wrinkles? Not only is beetroot rich in antioxidant, it also contains anthocyanin pigments which stimulate collagen production. For tomatoes, the antioxidants, lycopene can neutralize the harmful effect from the sun’s ultraviolet ray. In the case of red peppers, its rich vitamin C content helps to restore skin cell and eliminating wrinkles. Lastly, kiwi is rich in vitamin C and stimulates collagen production – both are essential to get rid of under eye wrinkles and return the skin its rightful elasticity.

Some people tend to get fine lines quite early, but most of the time it's normal. My advice to you would be to be very gentle when using make up, always dab the product and never rub your eyes. To help the lines disappear, I suggest you use a few drops of bitter Almond oil every night before you sleep; it works wonders, it’s organic and cheap
