Team mehr

Me too....I need another Mehr because I have nearly finished the one I got with the MC collection.

And I would like to try Tabla....I think that I have never had such a color.

I might be totally wrong but I think that there was a lipstick called Double Shot in the past....is it really a repromote?

I ordered some Z palettes so I'll be depotting my MAC shadows soon. Can't wait to B2M for these! I already checked with my local MAC store and they said they'll take the eyeshadow pots without the pans. Woot!

B2M time.

I need to go on a depotting mission as well.  I try to suppress my pyromaniac tendencies and this just, well, inflames them.  I am wondering about trying the alcohol dissolving the glue method but I doubt that will proceed quickly enough for my impatient nature...

I have a silly question. I'm having a brain freeze at the moment. Do the containers have to be completely empty when you return to MAC or can their be some product left? Thank you & sorry. I should know this, but it's been quite some time since I did a b2m.whistle.gif

I use a candle warming plate to depot my shadows. It usually does take a little bit, but it's a cooler temp than a flat iron and I feel it's a little safer for the countertop. I think it was less than $5 at Michael's craft store.

October: i don't think they have to be completely empty, I could be wrong though. I have a clear brow gel and pro longwear concealer containers were I literally could not get any more product out. I don't want to pry them open to clean out the containers. I'll see what MAC says when I bring them in.

No, not at all. Ive taken so many nasty lipglosses with about 1/2 of the product still in them and they've never said anything. To be honest, they hardly even check them other than counting them. ...they don't inspect them.

Thank you very much ladies! I am going to have to find some time and go through my stuff and get ready to b2m for the Mehr lipstick and some of the others.

i've never had a problem taking items for b2m that still have product.  one time the mua's were very intrigued because i took in a half-used, very obscure LE paint tube in hot+sour. i was kinda wondering if they ended up squeezing out the remainder of the product after i left the counter, before they returned the container to the mac authorities....

They probably did.  I saw silver bullet lipsticks someone B2M a few months ago. I haven't seen those in ages.  I don't know why the SA kept them on the counter so long.  Probably interested in Mac history.

wow, i don't think i ever saw the silver bullet. was it an LE thing, or just one of the basic iterations?

Sort of.  It was supposed to be permanent.  They had it for awhile and then all of sudden they went back to black.  There was never really an explanation.  I'm guessing it was too costly.

I loved the old style frosted nail polish bottles with the pointy (bullet like) cap.  So unusual. I don't know why they went to the round bottles. The other ones were so eye-catching.

I think I still have at least a handful of those. Jungle Fever, Sailor Boy, Kosmic, Paisley Park, Yum Yam(Yum). These polishes are old. I don't know why the heck I still have them.

Wow!  You have them because polishes last forever!  They don't go bad.

Edit - My favorite was one called Siss. It was before they decided to use the name for a lipstick.

Maybe that's why I still have them. LOL! I end up going through my stash and they're all separated in the bottle and I just give em a shake and they're back together. I have an old one on my toes right now called Pink Radar (Tan Ray collection) that I dug up a few days ago. It's old and it doesn't look quite like I remember. It's looking more orange than pink and it seems to have lost some of it's brightness. ssad.gif I remember this one being almost neon but it doesn't look that way anymore.

i have one of the old bottles -- it's a rich brown frost...i think it's called goddess? i use to have another, rocker...which is also a lipstick now too...i use to love that shade so much, i would just do my nails over and over in the same shade.  but then the bottle smashed on the floor...and now it's discontinued! aaaa...

maybe our concept of neon makeup has changed overtime, especially with shades like cyy out there?

That could be true. Back when I got and first tried Pink Radar, I wasn't accustomed to wearing bright shades so it was really bright to me and right now it just doesn't seem as bright. I don't see much pink in it either but I just asked my husband and he said he sees pink.

ETA: There once was a Tilt polish too.
