I'm looking forward to seeing these.  If these are like the Chanel Illusion d'Ombres, there are 4 or 5 there that sound like they might tempt me

I really hope they are.  Wasn't there info about these before that said they would be like big bounce 2.0?

So, so lucky -- I got to see the shadows today. We couldn't swatch them, or even open them, but I am WAY more excited than I was before I saw them.

 

The few that really stood out to me were the coral, green (which really is a fabulous teal), cobalt, and a pinky/purple shade. All of the colours are gorgeous. I wish I had pictures to share but unfortunately we were trying to be sneaky.

I just looked up parrot and although I couldn't swatch the EC shadows I think that fashion circuit is more green.

i wouldn't use them as a base. they are so pretty on their own. they are like this liquid powder sponge hybrid that is so amazing on its own!

That sounds great and I think that they are perfect for Summer!

Especially because there are several bold shades that should work for a lovely summery look.

And the texture should be nice for warmer days too!

LyseD I cannot imagine seeing my mom with that color on, even as a shirt it's a nono! But I'm sure there are ways to make it more wearable....some how!

I'm sure using it as a slight pop of color on the lid would be gorgeous! It's definitely not an every day color, but I'm excited to experiment with it

That's what came to my mind, too! I don't wear brights too often, but I do love Sugarpill shadows as well as Sleek Acid palette for those daring days :)

PaparazziBoy, you've done a great job selling me on these! I'm definitely excited to try out the new formula. I'll pick shades when they arrive, of course, but I'm most curious about:

Even if you wouldn't do it, could they be used as a base if someone chose to put a pigment or mes over the top?

of course you could do so but trust me on their own they are so intense and amazing you dont want to put anything over them. i have played with them first hand since i work for MAC im also a specialist within the company so i did use them as a base and i loved them way more with out
