On my list!

So is Coil and Electroplate!

So how is Superwatt compared to Sweet Heat?

I think you really have to see and play with them yourselves to judge whether its a product you'd enjoy or not. I really love the colors and the textures. I've only had a chance to wear Superwatt with TFSI, I wasn't impressed at all at first, but then it kind of settled (but does take some layering to get the intensity going and to even the product out). Next time I'm going to try a PP and using a different brush.

Looks very nice. On a side note, I was hoping that the EL lipsticks would be less pink, more purple/ deeper...

Somehow Coil didn't make it home with me, so I'm going to have to go back to get it.

Spanky, the EL lipsticks look very different than they do in the promo material. I will have to check them out. Did you like the glosses or the e/s palette in the collection?

So far Infra-Violet is the only "must have" shadow out of this collection for me. Maybe swatches will change my mind.

looks like my pro store just got them in! they haven't unpacked boxes yet but I have a feeling I'll be able to swatch them for myself later this week

Spanky, can I PLEASE have your cat :-)

Soooooo cute!

Spanky you and your cat are both so pretty :) and the lipstick looks wonderful, especially with Star Wonder!

Thank you so much Spanky! I wish I had held off buying until I saw your swatches. I also just bought EL Violet Crush & Black Cassis lipsticks. I had hoped that Violet Crush would be more purple. Oh well. I'm sure I will still enjoy wearing them. There is seldom a lipstick I'm really unhappy with.

Awww. Your kitty is a cutie!!!! What is his name? You're both adorable. I just adopted a two year old Nebelong. He showed up on the doorstep of a friend who couldn't keep him due to having 4 cats already. So, I dediced to take him in. I named him Sterling. He's a cutie. I also love the lipstick your are wearing in this picture.

I know this is totally OT for THIS thread, but how are you liking the NARS palette?  (Wiping drool off the keyboard here).  I love the look you put together with Superwatt.  I saw the SA did a similar look when I went in to haul Invisible Light and she used that and Magnetic Appeal (I think that is the name) from the recent HC collection.  I tried to copy her look with IL and Sexxpectations from Peacocky.  These e/s don't look too bad in the creaseing department on you, so that emboldens me to maybe give them a try.

I am really trying to restrain myself but these look so gorgeous I don't know if I can.  For a certainty I will *need*

Blacklit  (hands down fave in swatches)

Brilliantly Lit (okay, its a tie for favorite LOL)

Infra Violet (3way tie?)

Fashion Circuit (I think they should have named this Fash Ho in honor of Fashion Police, they do love to recycle that word fashion into the product names, don't they?)

and trying to resist these but they could sneak into the cart also...

Electroplate (doesn't look quite as vibrant as I'd like in swatches thus far)

Superwatt (ditto, but could be ubiquitous)

Switch to Blue (unique and gorgeous, wish I wore enough blue to justify it--I'm torn)

Maybe only get two to get you started (the ones that most likely will sell out first), and then test the formula. When you like it, you can go back for more.

I called two of them and they are holding the Dragons for me. The other two are too far away and I'm happy with two Dragons already. So if you're in the netherlands and you want Dragon they should still have it in one store in Rotterdam and one in Schiedam. Just call Douglas and ask them to look up in the system which exact stores have it.

I love that you phrase it not as an "if" but a "when." It is pretty much inevitable, isn't it?! Darn all these awesome back-to-back releases!

Call around where you are and ask the people to look up in the system if they still have any. You might get lucky as well!

Will these be similar to paint pots? Or more of a mousse?

I thought I was skipping but it turns out....I really like these. I went to another mall in my area and they had these out (hate the inconsistency of this!) and I swatched five of these:

the light pink (invincible light?), electroplate, superwatt (is that the gold one?), the coppery one, blacklit and the blue.

I REALLY LOVE THE LIGHT PINK and ELECTROPLATE! the former is everything I wanted YV to be with really strong pigmentation and I want to say glitter but not really because they are so smooth that catch the light. Electroplate looks so gorgeous and I think there are similar colours but nothing jumped to mind.

The two I disliked most were the blue (I had to swatch twice to get decent pigmentation, it had the same cobalt blue color we always see so nothing special) and Blacklit (if you are thinking this is like Chanel mirifique: think again! It's not as black...It's kind of dark greyish with not great pigmentation and the flecks of glitters didn't really flatter it much).

As for the gold and coppery ones, I liked the gold but I recently got Illusion d'ombre in Vision and I couldn't justify getting it (I also have the MUFE AC in gold). It looked lovely and almost a more cohesive pigment and swatch than Vision but a different shade of gold. I justified that it wouldn't look too different on the eyes. We shall see.

The coppery one was very similar to the coppery AC (to me at least going by memory) and to I think to bronze (going by memory again) but with a bit more red (Almost like a cross between). I am skipping that one.

I am still waiting to get these. The pink is going to be lovely and so is electroplate! If I have more money down the line I may get the light gold one.

Texture wise: think l'oreal infallible but without having to go back and build the color. Definitely not a cream, definitely not an illusion d'om.

The pink one was showing pan in the tester!

I have paint pots and I don't think the texture is similar at all.

I didn't care for the Cobalt either -- I like the blue from Extra Dimension better. I didn't think the black was very good, I have a paint pot, black with sparkle, that would do the job just as well.

The pink is so, so gorgeous I'm just not sure I'll wear it much. I have superwatt heart.gif, fashion circuit heart.gif and dynamo heart.gifheart.gifheart.gif!

I may go back for the purple (they hadn't received it yet) and possibly the pink.

Yes, I got your post! I'm thinking about most of the bright colors - Love Power, Fashion Circuit, Dynamo, Highly Charged, Infra Violet. And maybe Coil and Superwatt. But like you said, I need to check them out in person.

That's also one big baby you got there! You look so happy.

I think I have a good excuse to get Love Power as I wear light pink e/s almost everyday. Hope it's not too frosty. I cannot wait to see the collection soon. heart.gif
