I am glad to read reviews on these as well because that is what was making it hard to decide what I wanted out of this collection but I am planning to get

I bright makeup, too. I happened to go to the bank on a day where I did a complete eye look with oranges, purples and golds. A lady working at the bank commented that my makeup was "very colorful" and I wasn't sure how to take it. She said it in a way where I couldn't tell if it was a compliment or not. I just smiled and said thank you.

For anyone having trouble deciding which colour to get

I find

Blacklit, Pure Flash and Superwatt are not that exciting -- I did get Superwatt for an easy look

Infraviolet, Dynamo, Fashion Circuit and Briliantly Lit are the "out there" shades -- I got Dynamo and FC and LOVE them both. I really liked IV but can't see wearing that colour around my eyes

Coil, Electroplate and Switch to Blue were all lovely. I prefer my blue from ED, the coil was VERY bronze and Electroplate seemed similar to other silvers I have.

Highly Charged I have not seen but I WANT.

I was happy AND sad to read this...  You basically enforced what I had already thought, that most of the shades I want are not that unique and are dupable.  BUT for some CRAZY SPECKTRA-Induced reason, I stillllllll am going to get the 4 on my list.  I guess I'm hoping the formula makes them interesting despite the fact I'm sure I have colors VERY close in my collection already!

I'm looking to pick up Superwatt, Coil, Electroplate, and Infra Violet

The formula is very unique and you will love it. If I had a money tree I'd buy them all but we're in a drought up here in Canada so four (or five) is my limit.

I just did a live chat. Lovely Mary-Ann said she has August 2 as the in-store launch date, however it can fluctuate a bit (ie: earlier) so it's always a good idea to double check directly with your location. She didn't have the online launch date. Too bad.

This was how the live chat went:

I wish there were more swatches and info on these. I'm gonna swing my Nordies tomorrow to check them out. Would these be able to be used with regular eyeshadows? I'd hate to not be able to as that would limit things. Thanks!

I think Spanky used Fig 1 and some other regular eyeshadows for the look she posted a few days ago.

When it comes to informed makeup purchase decisions, NEVER feel "rude" about wanting to compare!  That's what stores like Sephora and ULTA are built on... The idea that you can swatch and test different brands to find the best solution for you!  It might seem a little awkward at the MAC counter, especially considering that MUA's and SA's can differ from counter to counter, but you should definitely do whatever makes YOU feel like you're getting what you want.  It's better for you to know exactly what you want and what you already have and make a smart purchase, than to impulse buy products you find out later you do not want/need and just end up returning them. 

If you are made to feel at all uncomfortable while comparing your shadows, I would make a note to tell this to the staff:

"If you don't have a problem with me returning 1/2 these products in a week after I decide I don't need them because I have something that's similar in this UD Palette... I'll just put it away right now.  Do you mind giving me your name so I can pass it onto your manager if they don't appreciate going through the "return and trash products" procedure with me next week? Thanks so much!"  *insert a HUGE smile here!

Im curious to know when these are going to be released in Australia or if we are going to be getting them at all
