That is an awesome idea, go for it! Of the times I've gone to a counter with a bag full of lipsticks or eyeshadows, not once has any MA given me a hard time about it, even when I've stood there for aaages and swatched products all up and down my arm, lol.

I was thinking that InfraViolet looks a lot like UD's Junkshow from the Anniversary Palette. Such a gorgeous shade, but I wonder how close they really are!

If you are made to feel at all uncomfortable while comparing your shadows, I would make a note to tell this to the staff:

"If you don't have a problem with me returning 1/2 these products in a week after I decide I don't need them because I have something that's similar in this UD Palette... I'll just put it away right now.  Do you mind giving me your name so I can pass it onto your manager if they don't appreciate going through the "return and trash products" procedure with me next week? Thanks so much!"  *insert a HUGE smile here!

Ah okay, thanks! I was going by the July 19 date I saw posted on several blogs. I guess it works out because I meant to bring my Morning Frost pp to compare and forgot it this morning.

Wait is it not going to be on MAC online?

I think the fact that they come out on my birthday is a sign that I need all of them...or at least all of the bright colored ones. Sounds like a good excuse, right? xD

You ladies have inspired me! I am going to march into that MAC store and swatch til my hearts content! Looking at the Nordies site, I don't think any of these are exact dupes from the UD palette, but lets be realistic here....how many brights do I need? Half the time I wake up late for work and am lucky to get lipstick on my face! Plus my wallet belongs to By Request, Style Seeker, and Marilyn...not to mention all the other fall, and holiday goodies coming up!

I shouldn't have looked at that... I thought I can happily skip, but seeing that swatch makes me feel I might miss out on something great if I do. Look at that shimmer!

Tacky as in texture or tacky as in garish?

Are we using these as base like PP or on their own?  I am thinking a powder e/s over top will help set them (though it seems a shame to hide their light so to speak), but wondering stand alone if anyone can say how long-wearing are they???

I am trying to suppress the urge to just get all of them as they seem so unique and I wish I had done that for Casual Color products before they went away.  I am trying to save up for a vacation in August, but we get a "break" then, right?  So, I can haul this collection and go for a no-buy in August?

I love your avatar - both Robb and his wolf are cuties!

I will probably be using these both as a base and on their own I think!

I wanted a direwolf but this was the avatar that worked.  Waiting to see if any other GoT or ASOIAF "nerds" come out of the woodwork ;)

I sat in line for over seven hours(!!!) last Friday just to see Robb Stark/Richard Madden at the GoT panel at Comic-Con! So yeah, I just think GoT is "aight" th_wink3.gif

I used the "I have a direwolf, your argument is invalid" avatar on a few other forums, haha.

Sounds good! Although, when is Mac By Request supposed to be released? If it's in August, I guess you'll have to see how much you'll spend then.

I used a paint pot under mine twice and there was NO creasing or moving after seven hours. I used Superwatt on it's own and after eight hours I had slight creasing.

They definitely do not need to be "set" they work awesome on there own.

I did not put anything over mine but did darken my crease and outer v with carbon before I put on Superwatt and it looked and worked great.

We have some active members or people with family & friends in Colorado & probably a few lurkers. My hope is that no one is affected by the senseless, horrible shooting during the midnight showing of 'The Dark Knight Rises'. My thoughts are with anyone who is suffering or somehow touched by this tragedy.

Days like these are reminders that we need to hug and keep our family, friends, children & furbabies a little closer.

Much love to my fellow Specktraettes.

I was just reading about that. What a horrible thing to happen. Those poor people who just went to see a movie. :( My thoughts are with them and everybody who is affected.
