So they have done it again, released on PRO and regular site at the same time. smh. I got a MAC Pro email this morning for this. I'm passing on this collection anyway.

I think this collection was up on PRO two days ago, but that's still not a lot of extra time before normal launch. It's usually a week early for PRO, right?

My ULTA doesn't let you use multiple coupons at the same time. So I buy what I want, then return the next day to use another coupon. I print multiple copies of the same coupon off of ULTA's website and use as many as I can before they expire. The B2G1 free offer shouldn't count as a coupon because it's a promotion, so you should be able to use a coupon with it.

I can't explain it... They just ARE! The Loreal Infallible eyeshadows are compared to Armani Eyes To Kill, but a fraction of the cost. They are like a creamy, pressed pigemnt of sorts. We just started discussing them in here because several of us were wondering if they were comparable to these EC shadows. Some say yes, others (like Temptalia) say no. I haven't placed my order for these EC Shadows yet, since I'm waiting for IV to show up on MAC, but when I do receive them, I'll compare them and let you know what I think. Either way, the Loreal shadows are fantastic and a welcomed addition to my stash! They are great products in their own right. I think everyone should try at least one since they are so cost affective.
Here's the thread where they are being discussed specifically: http://www.specktra.net/t/178374/loreal-color-infallible-eyeshadow#post_2248304
Dang it! I can't take it anymore! Now that I got that last purchase out of the way, I am going to buy these! I have only resisted because I like to punish myself for how much I spend on makeup...
That plum one has my name all over it!

That's an awesome haul, Audrey! You will LOVE these!

I'm sure that I (and my daughter) will love them - thanks again for the CP. For those interested, this is the list of what I purchased:
Taupe
Iced Latte
Amber Rush
Eternal Sunshine
Perpetual Purple
Liquid Diamond
Golden Emerald
Endless Sea
Glistening Garnet
Bottomless Java
Smouldering Plum
I'm not sure that's a large enough sample for me to really see if I like the formula, but I'll make do. ![]()

Well with all of this Infallible talk I wound up buying one today while at Target. I bought Liquid Diamond. I'm gonna play with it and likely pick up a few more at Ulta on Friday. I'm thinking about getting Amber Rush, Golden Emerald, and maybe the dark blue one. I am still ordering Dynamo on Friday as I don't have any corals in eye makeup. This place is expensive lol.

I just tried Superwatt. I remembered I had these scoop type spatulas. I just scooped a bit out with the spatula and then patted it on the lid with my finger. Worked well. I really like this one. I wonder if the rest of them are as sparkly shiny. I love sparkly shadows so I'm hoping I don't end up on Team All with Martiangurll. I do think Superwatt looks a bit like Morning Frost. I think the shimmer in Superwatt is very different from the Glitter & Ice Paint Pots (love those)! I think the Glitter & Ice Paint Pots had chunkier glitter in it. I wonder if the bright colors have the same amount of shimmer in them. For now, I'm hoping to stick to my plan of getting all the neutrals and one bright color. I know it makes more sense to get unique colors to my stash but I think I would probably get more use out of the neutral colors.

UPS dropped my order off today and they were all intact. Electroplate had the slightest little crack and love power looked like it had the beginning stages of cellulite. I cant wait to play with these. I've never felt a texture like these before in makeup. I keep trying to think of something the texture is comparable to but I cant think of anything.

I swatched them all the other day. Some were not as shiny/sparkly as others.
the less shiny sparkly ones are:
highly charged
switch to blue
dynamo
brilliantly lit
blacklit
infra-violet
the really sparkly ones:
pure flash
superwatt
love power
coil
fashion circuit
electroplate

As much as I hate to do this I think I might skip, at least for now. I'm hoping these will stick around. I think I'm going to take advantage of Ulta's sale and get me some more Infallibles and a couple of the awesone new china glaze polishes. My order is going to cost about the same as just two of these. I'll probably regret this later, but I gotta restrict myself a little bit lol
I hope everyone else enjoys these. ![]()

I picked up a few of these from The Bay at the Eaton Centre. My Pure Flash is all warped out of the pan, kinda smooshed a bit on the lid, I'm afraid to touch it in case it falls out and spreads everywhere. :( I'm debating exchanging it for a new one but if I can get shape it back into the pan/container and as long as it performs the same then I won't bother. I just haven't had the energy to play around with it last night.
So far I have:
Electroplate - this reminds me of Smoke & Diamonds so much, I love this type of colour
Fashion Circuit
Infra-Violet
Superwatt
Pure Flash
I'm thinking about getting Highly Charged, Love Power, Brilliantly Lit, Coil, Dynamo and Backlit.

What do you think of Fashion Circuit? Is it like Teal pigment or partylicious?

I loooove S&D
And I agree with you...can not have enough of this type of color!

It reminds me of Teal pigment, not quite as dark (might be because of the sparkles). I think Partylicious is a bit more blue than Fashion Circuit. I'm going by memory right now since I'm at work and no where near my stash at the moment. I use colours like this mainly as a splash of colour on the lower lashline, so I'm thinking of using Fashion Circuit smudged out with a bit of Undercurrent pearlglide to line closer to the lashline and Minted eyekhol on the waterline. Looks like I found my weekend combo to try out. :)
Me too! Smoke & Diamonds was the first eyeshadow I ever bought a backup of. :) Electroplate looks a bit more silver (because of the sparkles) and it will be perfect for a quick, almost effortless night out smokey eye (with the addtion of smudgy black eyeliner) while the weather is still warm.
Actually, I think some of the colours remind me of shades we've seen before but the texture and sparkle/shimmer changes them a bit (ex. Fashion Circuit vs Teal pigment, Love Power vs Young Venus extra dimension, Smoke & Diamonds vs Electroplate). I'm not sure if that's a selling point or not, but the texture of these is very interesting.

I wore Superwatt yesterday and Electroplate today. To be honest, I'm kind of "meh" about them. I don't hate them but I also don't think I'd buy them again if I could do it over.
Getting enough color on the brush seems to be an issue - I feel like I'm sort of chasing it around the pan. The brush leaves a dent but doesn't seem to get much color on it. It takes some work to get enough onto the lid, for me.
The colors I got are also rather dupeable.
I think I like the L'oreals better - color is more intense, wear time is comparable, and price is way cheaper.

All the talk about the Infallible shadows reminded me to use mine. When I unscrewed the cap this morning, I saw the little lid L'Oreal included to help keep the shadows in place. I completely forgot that they included those! Got me thinking that it would have really benefited MAC to include a similar lid w/ their EC shadows. It would have probably prevented the warped shadows that people have been receiving (I know that it's really easy to nudge the shadows back into place, but it seems preventable).
