That's the one thing that MAC sometimes does wrong when they do a collection around a single new product - they bring on the same all-purpose colors you see time and again. Sometimes, I can overlook it...Dark Dare EDES was such a perfect black shadow, it wasn't hard to justify it, even though I have other blacks. When it's only a small step up in quality or finish, it's much tougher to rationalize it. I skipped most of the Metal-X shadows, even though I love Venetian Tarnish, just because the colors weren't unique enough to combat the fact the Metal-X formula has its drawbacks.
My MA was saying these shadows behave like Veluxe Pearls, except with more sheen. What do you think about that assessment? It sure seems like this is one product people are going to have to check out in person.
I'd say a veluxe pearl on steroids LOL it's a sheen that would almost appear wet like if you foiled a pigment or MES. This is going to sound so stupid but whatever LOL had they put them in the same packaging as a paint pot I probably would have picked at least one or two up I really hate the packaging on these. The are extremely soft and looks like it would easily fall to pieces in the plastic pots they are in. If you dropped it on your bathroom floor I'd say you would be kissing most if not all of the product goodbye.
