Sometimes, I can overlook it...Dark Dare EDES was such a perfect black shadow, it wasn't hard to justify it, even though I have other blacks. When it's only a small step up in quality or finish, it's much tougher to rationalize it. I skipped most of the Metal-X shadows, even though I love Venetian Tarnish, just because the colors weren't unique enough to combat the fact the Metal-X formula has its drawbacks.

My MA was saying these shadows behave like Veluxe Pearls, except with more sheen. What do you think about that assessment? It sure seems like this is one product people are going to have to check out in person.

I'd say a veluxe pearl on steroids LOL it's a sheen that would almost appear wet like if you foiled a pigment or MES. This is going to sound so stupid but whatever LOL had they put them in the same packaging as a paint pot I probably would have picked at least one or two up I really hate the packaging on these. The are extremely soft and looks like it would easily fall to pieces in the plastic pots they are in. If you dropped it on your bathroom floor I'd say you would be kissing most if not all of the product goodbye.

Love!!!!!!!

Looks pretty! can't wait to see more!!

I thought everything said these were some kind of cream/sponge/whatever eyeshadows but now they turn out to be powder?  Kinda disappointed, though the colors are pretty.

the screw top jars look a little like the old school ones...though those ones had the white plastic threaded bit...

How much money will these cost?

I hope I don't like them because I bought all 9 MES from the HC collection...

mac_addict.gif   I hope I don't end up buying them all =)

These look like a reformulation of powder eyeshadow rather than a reformulation of Big Bounce.  Like Miss Dynamite, I am a little disappointed about that.  They don't look 'spongey' at all

the shadow won't break as its 50% water so you all know. but if its not store flat the product could sift around int he pot. all you do to fix it is give it a little smash and it back to normal. these do need to stay closed when not in use so they dont dry out

they have a powder finish that looks foiled. they are spongy like its a weird formula you just have to feel for yourself

They sound like the texture of the Loreal Infallible eyeshadows.

Pic is so so MA was hovering.

Thanks for the picture! I'm quite sure that Switch to Blue (cobalt blue), Fashion Circuit (kelly green) and Brilliantly Lit (yellow green) are coming home with me. The purples look nice, but I'm not big on purple shadows so I'll have to see swatches first. The others are quite neutral and I don't like to buy a ton of neutrals, because I'm good using the same ones over and over again. I do like to switch a lot between my brights and blue and greens are my favorites.

I went from wanting 3 to about 8 after seeing the display. I think i will order a few from nordstroms and see how they work on me and then order the others once they are on macs site.

Judged by the description, I thought I will skip those, but seeing those pictures..... I want them all. And screwtop pots, that brings back some memories.

That picture makes me want them all!!! Thanks for sharing MzFit!

I'm especially loving the bright purples, and that acid green heart.gif

They are very similar I came home and played with my loreal eyeshadows, the mac blend out much better but overall finish is similar.

They are $22 in Canada. I called my Bay store today to see if they would be out on Thursday and she told me they are out now. I'll probably run over Tuesday and try and post some swatches.

She also said the pro store should get them maybe this upcoming week. I am curious StarrySim which bay did u find these at? I was at the queen street bay!

I saw them at Sherway as well.  Sorry for the late reply.  I haven't been keeping up on all the collections - if I had known they weren't out everywhere, I would've taken a pic and maybe some swatches as well.

I doubt I'll get any of these, but I can't wait for more swatches!

When are we expecting these online?

Love blacklit! I'll probably get around 4. Trying to restrain myself.

I think I'm going with Dynamo, Blacklit, Highly charged & Pure Flash. Hopefully I don't like any of the others so I can stick to my list for once lol

Which ones are you planning on getting, if any?
