It's not a big deal b/c they can be easily nudged into place, but I don't think it can be said that it was simply the samples they received. I think it's just the nature of the product.

I've mentioned it before, but MAC should have really included a plastic stopper like the ones L'Oreal includes w/ the Infallibles. It would prevent product from shifting around.

I agree, luckily all of mine arrived safely. I went to my local Mac store today to get Dynamo and Infra Violet I couldn't wait for them to stock them online.

I really want Switch to blue, Fashion circuit, Brilliantly lit, Highly charged, Infra violet and Dynamo but i'm not sure if i can bring myself to spend £87 on the 6 eye shadows :(

Stiff, flat brush (I've used 242 and 252). No base. Pat on a thin layer, then use a window wiper movement to spread evenly. Let dry and then pat on an extra layer, if more intensity is wanted. To shade up into the brow, besides patting on the lid, I'd also pat a small amount just in the center of the brow bone or at the corner, depending on where I wanted the most intensity, then window wiper it out quickly.

I also tried some rounded blending brushes, but those weren't quite as easy to control - they were doable, but only if I was using extra light pressure. I'd say a brush like that would be better if you wanted these shadows extra sheer.

I thought I only wanted FC but I popped to the counter today and ended up buying Fashion Circuit, Electroplate, InfraViolet and Love Power..

And I really want Highly Charged, Pure Flash, Superwatt and Coil.. and maybe Dynamo (not really my kind of colour but so interesting..)

The plan is to test the four I bought and if they perform to standard then on Saturday (pay day) I can pick up the others if they're still available.. ouch.

If any of you have the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary Palette, Fashion Circuit is a dupe of Deep End, and I will be checking Superwatt (Midnight 15 dupe?) and InfraViolet (Junkshow dupe?) today.

Yessir! Junkshow is a definite (bolder, brighter) dupe for InfraViolet! Great to know DE is similar to FC as well!

Are these e/s used best with a paintpot or by themselves??

I heard from the counter that it is best to apply without a priming agent. According to one woman, these colors will change if you apply a primer.

Update: T mentioned that UD Midnight Rodeo is a warmer dupe of Superwatt. I am quite impressed that my 15th Anniversary palette has some of the colors available.

Off to the Clearance Bin...

Ive been using them without primer, mostly... i just put concealer on my eyelids and powder it first...

Coil held up yesterday as a crease color. Testing on lid today. Also used with a liner brush below bottom lash line. I realy like how these apply as a liner! Might need more. Thinking about Blacklit and one other neutral. Saw Blacklit on a Youtube video, and I liked how it looked in the crease because these are able to be used so sheerly. Would also use Blacklit as a liner. On lid, finger application is so easy...might be good apply and run out the door type products! We will see how the lid application holds up before deciding on more.

Thanks so much liba.

Fashion Circuit, Dynamo and Superwatt go on quite well, Highly Charged is the only one I'm having trouble with. Next time I'll let the first layer dry before applying the second.

Also thinking one of these for my desk drawer at work wouldn't be a bad idea! For those days that I don't manage to get anything on my face before running out the door! If I bought one for that, I might need a Coil backup!

I have on Fashion Circuit with primer and paint pot as my base. So far so good it's holding up. I'm testing it out for at least 4 hours.

I have tried them on my lid and they didn't hold up without a primer for 12 hours. I think they start creasing after 6 hours. For reference, I have really mild oily lids and shadows rarely crease on me!

I bought four: Electroplate, superwatt, coil and Pure Flash. I am using my hands to smooth them out over the lid. I like the colors, don't like the price and the texture much but that's just me. I think I am happy with what I got though!

Went back to Macys to get Superwatt and Blacklit, and Superwatt was already sold out! It came out on Thursday there and sold out on Friday!

I'm just over this collection now. Meh.

I feel this way too!  And I STILL haven't gotten any!  I wanted IV and I can only get my PRO discount if I order online since there are no PRO or freestanding stores near me, so I was waiting and waiting and waiting... and it's never arrived.  And I went through an array of emotions but held onto my decision to NOT order multiple orders on this collection.  NOW, without ever even trying one, I'm over them.  Frustrating.  Blah AND Meh!

I bought 6-7 of these the other day but have only tested Pure Flash and I may get a BU. I never get BU's but this is THE wet look shimmery pale neutral I have been looking for forever!!! I only wore it for about 3 hours over Painterly, but it didnt crease.

I am only sticking with 4. Coil, Love Power, Superwatt, and Infra Violet.  I really love Superwatt! As for the others eh. I love the texture but not really worth 18.50. What does everyone else think about these ??

finally was able to wear this and omg WOW! I wore Superwatt on the lid (and yes it looks like Vintage Selection on me) with Moth Brown in the crease...neutrals with a kick haha now if I back this up will it be going in my fridge along with my backup of Nubile paint pot?

Oh how I wish I had a backup..... I'm over halfway through mine :(

I haven't bought any of these yet - I'm on holiday and I'm a lot less excited about them now honestly!

Oops double post!

Just picked up Superwatt and Fashion Circuit from the counter. Still waiting for the yellow one and Electroplate to arrive from Debenhams. I like the texture of these, but most of the colours are dupeable imo and some are just a bit meh. If I didn't have Chanel Mirifique, I'd definitely get Blacklit, so pretty.
I actually tried my shadows and I felt it applies very very nicely, better than my UD palette. You know how people apply shadows wet? These shadows gave me the wet look without ruining my dry shadows. I actually found a good use to the dupe-like items.

I ended up getting Lit, Highly Charged and Infra today, for a total of 5. (insert MAC ate my wallet smiley, as my iPad won't let me) I got the last Lit and Infra in the Fort Wayne Macy's store and got word that SuperWatt and Love Power is also sold out.

I only have a BU cuz I was using the Urban Decay primer with it to prevent creasing...now I found a primer where I dont need to put a paint pot on top so it's no longer getting any love in my stash haha

I wore Brilliantly lit on the inner corner with infraviolet on the outer 2/3 of the lid and love power in the crease and naken pigment under the brow. For my liner on the upper lid I used Blacklit. OMG I love love love it as a liner. Backing it up asap!!!

Yay! I'm glad to hear it works so well as a liner! Once I used Coil as a liner, I ran out and got Blacklit hoping to use as a liner, too. I haven't used it yet though, so I was excited to read this.

When I used Coil as a liner, I found it went on so smooth and sparkle was extra pretty! Stayed all day, too.

These hit The Bay pretty early but they just didn't appeal to me. I did very briefly swatch a few and I wasn't dazzled. I have some powder shadow dupes for some of the bolder colours and I prefer paint pots and Smashbox 15 hour wear shadows for a quick wash of all-day color.

I know many love them but I was underwhelmed. I'm not a fan of the texture either.

I think I'm going to give in and get one or two of these.  Out of the non neutral colors, which ones seem to perform the best?  Or are they all good?  I'm most interested in Pure Flash, Love Power, Infra Violet and Fashion Circuit.
