I might the only one but I am excited for the e/s!
I like to have some shades that are more sheer and matte.I plan on using them to set my metal-x e/s e.g.I think that Linger Softly
will look very nice over Obscura and Cyber.
Also I think that these sheer shades are great for blending out the edges.EI should work with nearly every look and the other
e/s with the matching look (Bloom on for pink/rosy looks....).
I'm kinda intrigued by the sheerness too. I bought one, - always sunny- and might consider more once I try it.out. Using them to set cream formuls is a great idea - i tend to have problems with cream based products like ccb migrating, so I'll try that too!

You are welcome! I have that Taupe brow pencil, it's darker (more pigmented too) and slightly less taupe.
On Sonia Kashuk's website, its described as:
"This flat brush is designed to use for contouring, sculpting and blending. Ideal for a controlled application of highlighting, brightening & bronzing powders."

Tx for the swatches RayannaBanana! I am loving the blushes! Especially Baby Don't Go. What a fab shade. I'm around the same skin tone as you, so it would be perfect for me. I am holding off though. I need to save for Marilyn and Glamour Daze and then I'll see what I can pickup at a later date.

I tested the Office Hours collection in the back room of my local MAC today.
The eye shadows are for the most part matte, not my favorite finish - i only wear mattes in my crease. And Every Ivory is so very sheer, so i passed on it, but i'll test it on my eyes tomorrow, so i might change my mind...
The blushes are lovely, i just don't wear many of those colors. Plus i already really stocked up on blushes this year, so i passed on most of the ones i liked. And while i'm looking for a rich plum blush and Stubborn is rich plum, it is quite matte, and i think i want my plum blush to be a creme.
The lipglasses are for the most part opaque and intensely colored, but the majority are bright pastels that didn't appeal to me.
I ended up getting only three things:
And i'm not gonna be hauling from Marilyn either. I guess i'm saving myself for the Holiday collection...

I like the texture of the blushes. It's very similar to the PLW bronzers, i.e. very blendable and soft, they even feel a bit creamy when you apply them.
These blushes require a softer brush as one with harder bristles will be too harsh on the surface resulting in excess powder. I found the 165 worked best for me as the bristles are incredibly soft. However, the 168 and 169 did not work well for me as they just produced too much powder excess. The texture also reminds me of some older b/p such as Tahitian Sun, which is among my favorite b/p of all times.
The best feature of these blushes is the finish (and this, again, is similar to the aforementionned b/p): you get a subtle glow without shine, glitter, or shimmer. It's a natural glow and not one that is in your face. Just like a natural flush, but with a bit more color for a soft look with some oompf. I'm not sure how well they will show up on darker complexions, but maybe WOC who tested these will be able to comment on that.
I'm NC45. Over the weekend, I tried out a few of the blushes. First off, I agree with you- the texture is divine. As far as the colors, I only remember trying a few of them. Most seemed too light for me. However, eternal sun was absolutely gorgeous. I was going to skip this collection, but as I walked through the store I kept looking at the swatch and just couldn't pass it up. I didn't remember these are perm until I'd already made my purchase, but I'm not complaining. Stubborn was also pretty. It just wasn't calling me like eternal sun.
Also, Mac-Guy, I told you I'd let you know when I finally got a chance to swatch Cantaloupe. I'm SO glad I didn't buy it blindly. It was too light for me and looked ashy. However, I FELL IN LOVE with Salsarose. Absolutely beautiful!!!! I bought Burnt Pepper too, as I see this as a necessity for Fall.

Thanks so much. I was struggling on whether I needed Eternal Sun, I'm just going to bite the bullet and pick it up in stores tomorrow!

I saw the whole collection yesterday and Mauveless was my favorite out of all the shadows. It's very soft and subtle but it has a rich color tone that really brings out my green eyes. The only thing that was a little weird was that I patted on the color on bare lids and within a few minutes, it seemed like my skin had absorbed some of the color, making it seem like it had faded. When I put a second layer on, then the color stayed true. It seems like all of these have a formula that will either need a good base underneath that can act as a barrier towards absorption or you just need to apply a layer, wait till it sets, then do another layer. I don't have oily lids, but i had used quite a bit of the mineralize cleansing water (getting off pressed pigments) before I tried any of the Office Hours PLWs, so maybe that was a factor.
If you like very soft, gentle eye shadow texture, that is like the smoothest silk on your skin, you will like these. Just don't expect bright, brassy colors - this whole collection is focused on subtle natural shades. I even really liked the infamous Ever Ivory - it's more like a smooth translucent powder for the eyes than what we typically expect from eye shadows. If you have middle-aged eyes, this formula will be like a blessing from heaven, but if you're younger, it might be a little too subdued (unless you usually are afraid of eye shadow - then this is a good collection to ease yourself in). They are very comparable to the mattes in the Styleseeker duos, a touch less stiff and a bit more translucent, but with a similar result.
I didn't get too excited about the original PWL shadows, but I'm going to get a few of these over time. For now, I'm getting Mauveless and More Amour, but I'll snag Ever Ivory, if I decide not to get the Desert Camouflage compact, which has an equally soft, subtle and beautiful highlighter in it. I also really liked Uninterrupted, Fashion Fix, Endless Passion and Linger Softly. The whole collection is right in line with the trend towards ultra-natural, barely there, hint of color makeup, so just know what you're getting into before you buy.

That is what I was looking for in EI but that one is one my skin seems to eat. I think I am a little darker than you (nw15 or so) but even the silky texture disappears on my lids. I really love the one in the Desert compact though. It is amazing as a highlight for me. I think I am going to try Fashion Fix today and at least one blush. I have Endless Passion already and I do like it. I have very dry lids and skin overall even with moisturizing like crazy so maybe I need more than just primer under these, maybe an extra shot of moisture might help with them absorbing completely. You are so right about the ultra soft part in this collection. I am glad you liked them.

I was waiting for House of Fraser to get this collection up because I wanted Whole Lotta Love and they're the only legit website (that I know of) that delivers Mac to me. They usually have new collections under the "what's new" thing, as in really obvious. And now I've only just noticed the Office Hours blushes sitting there in pro longwear blushes for I don't know how long! ![]()
Time to grab one!

The Desert Camo highlighter is nicer than Ever Ivory for sure - my main thing was it was a little less bright. I did prefer EI's texture just a bit, since it was more matte. My eyes didn't eat EI as much as they absorbed some of the other colors, strangely enough. In fact, using EI as a base layer underneath the other colors gave really nice results - brighter than 2 layers of the main color.
I think I just have a bit of an aversion to compacts - they just feel clunky to me to just grab for an individual color. That Desert one is seriously tempting me, though, since 3 out of 4 of the shadows are superb and that blush is very snazzy too.

I got my things today and I love the blushes I picked up stay pretty and whole lotta love, I'll most likely get stubborn tomorrow as for the shadows they look very nice I love more amour but I'll have to try them out (bloom on, endless passion) and I'll see mauveless tomorrow too
Ooh, can you describe the colors (stay pretty & whole lotta love) please? Thanks

The only item I purchased was Stubborn, but I may have to exchange that one for something else. The swatches that I've seen of the other blushes turned me off. I don't think this new formula will work for me. I'm glad I preordered and did research before leaving the store with anything, this way I don't feel bad for exchanging.

The name stay pretty describes it all it's very girly like light pink it's just pretty and judging by ur avatar pic I think it would look great on you, whole lotta love you have to put on lightly because it def is more pigmented and you don't want to look like you have a whole lotta makeup on lol. So I def suggest those two love the blushes way better than the shadows
