Nordstrom Anniversary Palette - Page 4

I got a last anniversary blush palette at a local Nordstrom today. These are my very first NARS blushes! I'm so excited!

I also swatched Outlaw. It was freaking amazing! Wow! So Gorgeous! Did anyone try it?

Whoot! My order shipped. I didnt think I was gonna be able to get one of these, I'm so excited!
 

Just checked online and they're completely sold out now. Sad times....

 

NARS Danmari and nordies palette

I had the "shipped" email earlier that afternoon, thank goodness. I had looked at the palette online at 8-ish that morning and it was already unavailable. That's so fast... Wish we had a Nordstrom here ( with a MAC counter,too).

Woww!! I'm truly in love! Mine shipped but they sent it to the wrong address and now I'm freaking out got them to call UPS and send it to the right address but it won't be here until the 30TH fingers crossed!

sad that it is sold out online already! is anyone able to do a CP from the local store?

IMO, the Danmari doesn't feel as cheap as the Joie De Vivre does. I like the colors in Joie de Vivre more, but it's not as smooth & a lot of them are defective. I had to superglue mine back & it came with a crack near the pan of the bronzer :(
 

I missed out on this during the early access sale b/c I was travelling. Luckily, I was able to live chat w/ a representative on Friday to have one sent to me from a different location. 

EEEK, sorry to hear that.  I'm hoping that yours was a fluke bad palette and that most of them are of higher quality. I skipped the Danmari palette b/c I didn't care for the colors chosen. I barely wear the Orgasm single blush I own now, I didn't need to throw Super Orgasm into the mix!!! Plus, Casino was too dark for me. The colors on the Joie De Vivre palette are much more my style. 

 

Did you try complaining to Nordies? I know it's been sold out since the first day, but maybe they have limited stock saved up for defective exchanges. If anything, Nordies always tries to take care of their customers in one way or another.

 

oddly i've been really enjoying super orgasm this summer (i have a mini sample one) .... the colour is different than orgasm and i'd say is a colour between orgasm and deep throat.

this one is coming to the UK in december if you can wait! i am so desperate to get my hands on this - oh well another 5 months to go yet!

I'm so sad I missed out on this. I'm not a Nordstrom's member or whatever and had to wait until it was on sale for the general public.. and it was sold out before I knew it. I live chat with the Nordie's rep and she said they sold out immediately and there were no more in stock . Hope you ladies are enjoying your palettes!!!!! Enjoy them for me!

Call or chat again anyway.  I just got my credit a few days ago for returning mine.  I never accepted the package and it was sent back.  It took forever for them to credit me.  Try again.  You never know.  Plus some people said they found some by calling stores even after online said it was soldout.

I wish they would do a palette targeted a little more to tan/dark skintones. I've got Joie de Vivre, but it seems a little light for me. I had Danmari, but felt like at least 3 of the colors (Hungry Heart + Orgasms) were a waste for me so I gifted it to my daughter. I was remorseful immediately lol. I may try to swap my JdV for the Danmari.

I just received my palette yesterday thanks to a CP. I'm so glad I got it.

 

I think my standout favourite is Gaiety, and I wouldn't have expected that. I'm very warm toned and never wear pinks. It looks like a very natural flush. I need to play with Angelika a bit more; I can buff the glitter away but the colour isn't as flattering. I'm sure I can make it work in combination with one of the other colours or something I already have. I also really like Albatross and I wasn't sure I would.

OOOh this is soo tempting, but I couldn't imagine paying over $100 us dollars for it when I just got the orgasm/laguna duo. Maybe the next palette..... . Next time I'll be smarter and pre-sale!!

Le Bon Marché only ships to Europe. But given how well the Danmari and Joie de Vivre sold, I'm pretty sure they'll make new blush palettes in the future. :) You can check the threads here from time to time so you can be informed about upcoming product launches. ;)
